When I moved to the Encinitas area, I searched for a massage place or therapist. I was looking for a friendly convenient place that would match my busy work schedule. I originally signed up with a plan at a local massage salon, and was very unhappy with their service (didn't answer their phones, it was hard to schedule sessions within a few days, inability to get the same massage therapist), so I had discontinue and start the search all over again. I don't recall how I got Wendy's number, but when I found her and her location, I was very pleased. She appeared to have a lot of experience under her belt. It was always easy to call her with only a few days notice and find time to book a session. Her massage sessions were very relaxing and she had good range from Swedish to deep tissue massage. I always left refreshed after a massage. When my husband and I became pregnant, I was happy to find out she was familiar with pregnancy massage as well. I believe getting regular pregnancy massages by Wendy has really alleviated much of my stress, tension and anxiety through this whole pregnancy. I haven't been to a message therapist for many years but some severe problems with tension and anxiety descended upon me about 4 wks. ago and I decided to see if it could help. After a short internet search I made the appointment. Wendy put me at ease immediately. Following 1 hour of massage I felt the weight of the world had been lifted off my shoulders. I'm by no means a massage aficionado but it was the best massage I've ever had and it's hard to imagine any message being better. I've received 4 fantastic massages at the time of this writing but I'm desperate to win the lottery so I can afford her 2 times weekly (at least!). Great massage near Del Mar? Massage by Wendy is my favorite place to get a real massage. Her massage studio is in a garden setting in Encinitas. I had an 1and a 1/2 hr. massage.
