I had been wanting to get ski boots for a while but was a little shy as a new skier and had no idea what I was looking for. So lucky to have Caleb help me out. He was super knowledgeable with the in store selection as well as areas to look for. He was so patient and spent about an hour with me finding the exact fit and allowing me to really feel the boot out and making small tweaks to ensure the best fit. He did mention that Proctor does allow you to bring back boots for refitting within the first year. While I hope I won't need to come back for adjustments, makes me more confident in my purchase. Look forward to taking these boots out for a test run soon!

The same *identical* item is still hanging on a rack in their store, I just needed a different size. They wouldn't help, so now have to awkwardly ask the gift giver for the receipt and tell her I didn't fit in the size small she got me. The guy at the front desk could not have cared less and to be honest, seemed wicked stoned. He was literally standing bent over the counter resting his head on the desk at one point. You good? .. Anyway, he said the reason I need the receipt is to avoid possible "theft and stuff" with someone standing right behind me in line-thanks for that, that made me feel great. This place doesn't seem to exist in the digital world (Google Maps tried to send me to Salem, it didn't exist in Yelp), but they have a great selection despite the pandemic and John (who came here to "retire" after 40 years in the other location is the most knowledgeable, helpful, and nice bike salesperson I've ever met. I spent a few hours here this week getting a bike for my daughter, choosing a road bike for me, and then getting fitted for my bike. John was incredibly patient (I haven't purchased a new bike in decades), explained all the new tech, and helped me spend my money wisely (steering me away from things I didn't need and showing me where it was worth spending a bit more).
