My friends tube broke…read moreand a repair kit cost about 5 bucks. after we walked in the shop, we told a guy that the tube had broken and he took the bike in. the man aggressively took off the wheel, making the rotor damaged in the process. Then, he added a patch kit to the tube. At the time, I thought it would be just paying for the repair kit because he had Never Mentioned A Price. once he was done, he put the wheel back on for another 10 minutes wasting our time and refusing help when we offered it. Then, he walked up to the register and told us it was 35 DOLLARS for a single tube repair, KEEP IN MIND A new tube only costs about 5-10 dollars and is way easier to install. This shop will take your money I Don't Advise To Go Here!

I tried a used foldable bike and it was ok, maybe, but reminding me of how uncomfortable biking has been for me, not liking a ten speed riding position, balancing, seat height, handle bars awkward to reach, all the things that make me prefer walking! It had 6 speeds but no way to switch the gears. So wanting to follow their enthusiasm and tweak the seat height and the handlebar position we chatted awhile about all kinds of fun things with music, and riding as new gear switches and cables and magic transformed this potential bike into a sweet ride. It felt like a different bike- smooth, easy, I actually said out loud, "I Love it, sold." I love that they're nearby and if the bike needs any adjusting I can bring it to them. This place doesn't seem to exist in the digital world (Google Maps tried to send me to Salem, it didn't exist in Yelp), but they have a great selection despite the pandemic and John (who came here to "retire" after 40 years in the other location is the most knowledgeable, helpful, and nice bike salesperson I've ever met. I spent a few hours here this week getting a bike for my daughter, choosing a road bike for me, and then getting fitted for my bike. John was incredibly patient (I haven't purchased a new bike in decades), explained all the new tech, and helped me spend my money wisely (steering me away from things I didn't need and showing me where it was worth spending a bit more).
