This place really does suck. I brought my bike in to have the pedal removed because I could not get it off. I was going to grind it off, drill and tap. The dude there got it off for me but stripped the shit out of the crank shaft arm. So my pedal fell off after considerable work trying to get them to hold. I need to buy a bike. I go in and get a used one. The tires where flat. So I asked him to put air in the tires. He brings out a pump and leaves it on the floor. This is not a place you go to for service. The selection is lousy and expensive. I think they run a 'bring your bike spin' class which might be there priority. Not sure. I am sure if the work they did for me. I would call them lazy mechanics. He didn't want to take the time to do it right. I should have done it myself and invested in the tap. Live and learn. read more

Always helpful. Last time I was there a mom was ahead of me with her young sons. She had a very inexpensive dept. store bike with a flat tire. They said we'll try to refill it, if it doesn't hold air we'll set you up with a new tube. They treated her right when they could have otherwise taken advantage of her. read more

I wish I had read the reviews before I brought my bike there. All it needed was a back wheel and they said it would be a week. Three weeks later they tell me they are still waiting on the part. Are they custom making it!?! There's no way it takes that long. I told them I was picking it up. I'm not waiting anymore. DON'T GET YOUR BIKE FIXED HERE. I brought my road bike in for a tune up that I was told would be $75. Two weeks later I get a phone call saying my bike is ready. When the owner brought me my bike I was told it needed new tubes so he put them in. The total ended up coming to $108. I said to him that no one called me asking me to do this and that the original quoted price would change , they just did it anyways and expected me to pay. The owner responded by saying he would take the tubes out if I liked which I found to be a bit rude. I declined . He did reduce the price by $10. Next time I need a tune up I will definitely NOT be taking it to DG cycle ... read more

Went in to get a simple tune up. they put on a crappy derailer that was worse than the original and still charged me $180! they also put on break pads when it was a leak. they obviously dont know what they are doing and will try to scam you please dont go here! read more

I needed a new bike computer for my road bike and went in to DG cycles in Londonderry in June 2020. The computer plus installation was 120.00. When I first used it, it was not working and a control button was stuck so I brought it back for a fix or replacement. The owner fiddled with it and said it works now. It sort of worked intermittently for about 9 more rides and then stopped recording MPH and Distance all together. By now we are into August 2021 and I figured that if I just replace the batteries it will work. Well that did not fix the problem and the one button was stuck again. So, I took it off of the bike to take a closer look and found that the metallic trim that was holding the buttons in was broken but appeared to be superglued where the button was stuck. The button next to that was completely gone. In addition, they never put the magnet that came with the computer on my wheel, they left on the old magnet from my previous bike computer. When I went to the original box, there was no magnet. I suspect that they sold me a returned and broken computer with missing parts. Please also note that I never fell or manhandled the bike so there was no reason for this computer to have been damaged this way unless it came that way. read more

They did a great job fixing my tire and tuning up a used bike I bought to get some exercise during Covid.

All time worst place to fo business !! Charlie one of the owners is s total dirtbag stole $634 from me! He said he would fix my frame and paint my bike, when i went to pick it up it was the wrong color and the bike was reassembled in an unsafe condition. Loose brake components as well as loose front tire,and missing parts from the bottom bracket.Charlie told me thats the best we can do! What s joke!!! The bike is a specialized s works carbon bike. About $8000 I had to go to goodales in Nashua to get the job done correctly at an additional cost of $300 . I would not send my worst enemy to D G Cycles. TOTAL RIP OFF! No customer service and the owner is a total scumbag. AVOID DOING ANY BUSINESS WITH THIS CRAPSHOW OF A BIKE SHOP!!! read more

Horrible customer service! I walked in one morning and the owner and his son were there the place was still locked even though the business hours stated 9:30. I was looking for a mirror and a seat, unfortunately neither were in stock and I may have gone back and bought a road bike. But seeing how they deal with customers who are only purchasing a small items I would never go back and the owner was too busy talking to a female customer that walked in that he knew instead of trying to help me out...D&G Cycle in Epping is much better the owner goes out of his way to help you...I'd rather take my business there and I've since referred a couple of friends there...The owner is not a good businessman.... read more

Eric and the crew at DG are top of line when it comes to customer service, are always very honest and never take advantage. I know many people that use DG for their maintenance and bike purchasing needs and they always deliver the goods. Eric has a plethora of knowledge in all aspects of the biking industry and I could not recommend his shop enough. Countless times he has gotten me back out on the trail in an efficient and timely manner. If there is a question about anything bike related, Eric is always willing to enlighten with honest opinions with years of experience to back it up. Even through the parts shortage during the pandemic, they were able to rebuild my rear hub saving me time and money. If I'm ever asked for a good LBS, DG is always the shop I recommend. Often bike shops will make you feel out of place or it may feel like they're trying to sell you on something just so they can make a buck, but DG is far from that style of business. Have been in a few times for tune ups, tire repairs, etc. although sometimes the prices seem a little high, the shop is very convenient. Went in the beginning of summer for some repairs and they were addressed. Went in a couple of months later with the same problem fully expecting to pay for repairs. They fixed the bike that day and NO charge! I was very willing to pay for the service but they insisted I not pay. That's great customer service. Thank you. read more

Good shop. When I was buying a bike recently I spent a considerable amount of time conversing with Eric from shop. They are very knowledgable regarding mountain bikes. I can't speak for their road bike knowledge. They seem to really only carry what they like to ride, and what they'd recommend to their friends. Also knowledgeable regarding components, having tested many themselves or intently gathered feedback from customers. The few employees I talked to were passionate about the sport. Good option for custom carbon wheel sets. I'd recommend this shop, and I'm hard pressed to recommend anything. read more

Great shop. They have a good inventory of new and used bicycles and very friendly and knowledgeable staff. I am not a real experienced biker, but they were helpful and offer great advice with no attitide. They are a little hard to find, but they are in the Shaws plaza off to the right. Great prices and a good selection. A well tuned bike makes all the difference in the world. read more

Generally these guys try to be helpful and are courteous, Service can take awhile, over a week during peak season.

DG Cycle in Londonderry gave me the wrong estimate for a part, said it would be two to three days. Took three weeks and the warm days were gone by then. In the process of installing that part, they removed and "threw out" my cassette, the employee tells me. He said come in and we'll comp you a new one. Drove over, they don't have the part in stock and tell me I'll have to pay 10 bucks to get it ordered and it would hopefully arrive tomorrow. No apology. I know customer service, I know when you THINK a customer is trying to get something from you for free and I know when you've written that person off. I'm a guy who wants to ride his bicycle, that's all. A bike shop is around to facilitate that, not get in the way and make you feel uncomfortable on account of their own mistakes. I can afford the part, but I'm not paying for something that was thrown out for no reason, not to mention that you don't have one to give me in the first place. Very disappointed. I was hoping this would be a good place get support for my bike. read more
