I just got around to this, but quite a few months ago, he solved my "I want to hear the bassline on Led Zeppelin's "The Rover" on the way to Lubbock and my stock stereo can't do it" problem. I took my 2025 Toyota Crown Signia in for a dashcam install. These guys install a VIOFO A229 Pro front and rear dashcam. They did a superb job, and all the wires were hidden and what a professional job! The dashcam worked just perfectly. I had a question a couple of days later about drain on my car battery in parking mode and they show me a switch that would shut off my cam if my battery drain got below 12.1 volts. I know very techy, but these guys know their techy business! This is the second dashcam that they installed, and they are very fair on their price. I waited in their shop while they installed since I live 20 miles away and they made my wait very comfortable and were done under what they estimated the installation time would take. Need more manning, overall 10/10 recommend. They took inconsideration I might not be able to take my car in the morning and let me take it the night before. Also, was I was having trouble they fixed what needed to be fixed and stayed after work to take care of it. Sal was great, he had my best interest and kept everything within my budget. I've been a customer of Eastern Audio in Clovis NM for nearly 15 years. About 5 years ago I moved to Hobbs NM. Even though I now live two hours away I choose to drive to Eastern Audio, because they alway do great work. The owner is a walking encyclopedia of vehicle electronics and aftermarket audio system design and installation. If I ever had any question as to why a certain a course of action was recommended, he was always willing to explain it to me. In total, Eastern Audio has worked on 4 of my vehicles installing equipment including: several high-end vehicle batteries, a cell phone signal booster, several Viper alarms, a Tap-Lock, multiple dash cams, Sirius satellite radios and antennas, several Pioneer head units with related speakers, amplifiers, cross-over circuits, wiring harnesses, and custom circuits to integrate the aftermarket parts to the factory steering wheel controls. If I ever needed after-sales support, they were always happy to help. Here are a few examples. 1) Eastern Audio had recently done some work for me. After driving back to Hobbs from Clovis, I noticed I could not open my electronic fuel filler door. Since I could not refill my tank, I could not drive back to Clovis. I called Eastern Audio, and explained the problem. They sent someone to Hobbs to diagnose the problem the same day! It was determined an OEM quick disconnect plug had come loose under the driver's kick panel. They accepted responsibility for the problem, and apologized. However it remains a mystery why the quick disconnect plug was loose in the first place, because they did not unplug it. Eastern Audio did not charge me for the same day "on-site" repair, but I did pick up the cost of fuel for their drive. 2) About 2 years ago, one of my vehicles started experiencing an unknown battery drain. If the vehicle sat for more than a few days the battery would be dead. I took it to the dealer, and they replaced the battery for approximately $250, and stated they would not do further trouble shooting due to the aftermarket electronics. - problem solved. About one year later the problem resurfaced. Again I took it to the dealer, and they replaced the battery at a prorated price. They again stated they would not do further troubleshooting due to aftermarket electronics - once again problem solved. Then about 2 months ago, the problem resurfaced for the third time. This time I disconnected all of the aftermarket electronics except the alarm before going to the dealer. They said they did some troubleshooting, and stated it must be the alarm. Whatever! I decided to take my vehicle to Eastern Audio to see if they could diagnose my problem. The owner spent several days troubleshooting the source of the battery drain. He finally deduced it was not the aftermarket alarm, but a "leave-in" OBD2 fault code reader that was causing the problem. I had installed the fault code reader several years ago. I never suspected it might be the cause of the problem, because it wasn't supposed to draw current when the vehicle was off. Eastern Audio also explained I needed another battery, because the continuous drain on the battery over time severely reduced the battery's reserve capacity. Thus the battery could not hold a charge more than day or two. The code reader now lives in my glovebox, and I have a new battery. Its been several weeks, and no dead battery. 3) Once after Eastern Audio installed, and hard-wired a dash cam in one of my vehicles; the dash cam would not operate when the vehicle was off. They double checked their wiring connections and install, but did not see any errors. Since I had supplied the dash cam and wiring kit, they decided to take a closer look at the wiring kit. After a couple minutes of continuity checks, it was determined the manufacturer of the wiring kit mislabeled the wires, and made the same errors in the install manual. Eastern Audio swapped the wires around - problem solved. Simply stated, Eastern Audio does great work, and they stand behind the work they do! They always go the extra mile to "make it right!" I highly recommend Eastern Audio to anyone looking for after market electronics and/or a serious audio system for their vehicle. read more

I have gone to see Zack at least three times now and have never had a bad experience. He is very professional and very knowledgeable on what works the best for what you own. I used to have a 2010 Jeep Wrangler the radio signal (XM) wasn't placed correctly and didn't produce a good sound and Zack and his crew fixed that. I had my wife's speakers in her truck replaced and now they sound awesome and now I have a new car to where Zack gave me a great deal on a new radio...His work ethics and quality are with out a doubt the reason why I keep going back to him. He maybe a bit more pricier than his competitors, but you are getting what you pay for.
