They replaced one rotor, grinded the other and replaced brake pads. They also fixed a loose hose I had that prevented me from using any windshield wiper fluid. The total price was extremely fair. I usually only take my car to the dealership for maintenance but I'm very glad to have found this shop in Clovis. Def recommend it.

I tried Marez Auto and Albert answered on the 2nd ring. He was super nice as I explained my issue. Water Pump died and started pouring water out on my way from OK to Artesia. I was literally 3 minutes away from his shop and was able to limp over. Albert pressure tested the system and sure enough the water pump was shot. He ordered the water pump and new belt locally right away. Once he got the parts off, he also noticed that the idler pulley was nicked up and not working properly. While waiting for parts he suggested a good place to eat for breakfast/lunch, just a block away and good food. He completed the repair quickly once all the parts were received and I finally made my way back home. Albert is a great mechanic and good person in general. If I'm ever in the area again and need mechanic work, I would not hesitate in taking any vehicle to him for repair. God bless Albert.

As I pulled into town on New Years Eve, I started getting oil warning lights in my vehicle that I had just had service done (including an oil change) a few days prior. I was traveling with my dog and young daughter, and we were due to leave early in the morning on January 1st. When I woke up that morning, I started calling around to see if any auto repair shops might happen to be open on New Years day at 8 am. As you might expect, they were not. When I happened to call Blacklock, I was thrilled when someone answered the phone. Not only where they open, but Joel was super friendly and told me to come on by after I explained the situation. We headed over there and Joel immediately got to work. They ran a diagnostic on the car and found that a bunch of warnings were popping up - all things that I thought had been addressed with my service the prior week back in Austin. He noted that the fee for the diagnostic was going to be $150 before doing it, and I told him to go through with it as I didn't really have much of a choice. Another guy came (owner, perhaps?) and they finished up the diagnostic. The theory was that the place that I had worked with in Texas didn't reset the warnings, but that all was well. Checked the oil to confirm and reset the warnings. I was relieved and grateful for the fact that they were open and welcomed me in on New Years Day, but they weren't done yet. When it came time to head out - they told me not to worry about the diagnostic charge... on the house. I was blown away! Gave a healthy tip as a show of gratitude and then we headed back on our way to Santa Fe. I'm not one to go and write reviews for places, but this one absolutely deserved the 5 star shout out. If they treat others anything like how they treated us - a no brainer recommendation from me. Thanks, gents!

I honestly believe that he genuinely wanted to know and I wouldn't be surprised to find out he couldn't read, but hopefully someone at GreaseMonkey is capable of reading this review. The assistant manager assured me when I came back they would refund me or take care of it and I believed him. Fast forward 1 month I'm back working and I'm due for an oil change. When I called them I was informed that it was my fault and they are not responsible for reading what they put in your vechicle. Honestly that's a pretty solid policy considering we still aren't sure if at least one "tech" cant read. Guys like this give real mechanics a bad rap. The main person who succeeded in flooring me with his integrity is manager Nate. He advised me personally relating to service for my very old car. He didn't charge me for their time. I've never experienced this type of customer service from any automotive company anywhere. He checked my air filter without hesitating or complaining that it's hard to get to, as every other oil change company has. I'll definitely come back.
