STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! We were traveling through Clovis and got a piece of metal in one of our tires. We went into this Discount Tire at noon and we were told it would be a five hour wait before they could get to our car- fine, we obviously didn't have an appointment, but we were trying to get to Oklahoma City that night. Then, they looked at our tire and told us the hole was too big to be repaired and started trying to sell us a tire. We decided to leave and go to Hamilton Ford - who got us right in and patched the hole we were told couldn't be patched. Sounds like they were trying to dupe us into buying a tire! read more

Went in at 1:00pm with a loose flat tire to repair. Waited in line for 45 minutes. Finally got up to the counter and they took the tire and said it would be ready by 4:00pm. I came in at 4:20pm and again stood in line for 40 minutes. Then he said they have not even started on it. I asked how the other cars got ahead of me and he said they go by priority of repair. So now I'm waiting. Terrible service. I will no longer use Discount tire. To many other options out there to be treated this was. My time is important as well. read more

My only recommendation to make this place a little better is to have more of a variety of bigger brand name tires (Bridgestone duellers, michelins & Yokohamas) on hand. These gentlemen here are super awesome. It is THE ONLY Discount Tire in Clovis and it's surrounding area. You may have to wait a little while to get helped depending on what time of the day as which day it is, but they are super helpful. I called ahead of time to see how busy it was on a Thursday afternoon. I was greeted, and the the representative had opened the door for me upon my arrival. I had to wait a about 5 mins to get helped, and the person who had answered the phone had helped me. Upon giving them my phone #, they had asked me if I still lived at the following addresses & had certain cars on file. I've been going to discount tire for tires pretty much ever since I've been driving, and they cleared up my old records from cars I no longer owned or drove. It was nice to see someone update my information. They were able to repair both of my tires =] which made me happy because Bridgestone duellers for Lexus RX350's are pretty expensive AND they don't have them in stock. They are always special ordered. My phone didn't have a charger and was about to die. I had only my lighting cable, and an employee gladly helped me out by lending me their iphone plug in so I could connect my USB in the outlet. Very nice, especially because they didn't have to do that. read more

I am not going to lie, my first visit to Discount Tire was not a great one. A couple of weeks later I got a call from a guy who said he was the new manager and he wanted to talk with me. He was perfect, he made everything right with me. I have bought probably 4 sets of tires from them and could not be happier with them. I drive a 4x4 Ram and a Corvette. I trust the new manager and his outstanding assistant manager and the crew. They are putting new wheels and tires on my Vette this week! read more

We were traveling out of state and unfortunately got a nail in the tire and cause a flat.. I called this location to see if there was any available opening to be seen, and they said there was a little wait but were very professional, and nice about it over the phone. Once we got to the store, one employee Dakotah, was quick to inspect the tire and get us on the road to recovery. So we both thought it was going to be a quick patch n' go, but the nail was awkwardly placed making it harder to be patched. We ended up getting another tire, but here's the best part. Dakotah was very friendly and listened to what I had to say and even got us the best deal for the one tire.. highly recommend these guys, you won't be let down.. and to top it all of we were outta there in an hour..! This store is amazing. I had a blow out in Texico on my way further north in NM on a long trip. I had to have my car towed to the store after hours. When Discount Started several years ago they were into custiomer service. I have 10 vehicles that have to buy tires for, I have been using them for years. The last 4 times I have been there I had to wait in line for ever, doesn't matter if you have an appointment or not you still wait in line. The customer service has really gone down hill. I am looking for a different dealer. read more

The service here is outstanding!! My daughter goes to school at ENMU in Portales, NM and I live in Washington.She had a gash in her tire and she called Discount to see if they could look at it for her.She called 20 minutes before their closing time from Portales and this shop is in Clovis.They said they would wait for her and take a look at it.These guys were so nice to stay late, an hour after closing.They replaced the tire under warranty for her too.I just want to say thank you to these guys (I wish I had their names) that took care of my daughters tire.Being a parent and so far away from your kid is hard.But it makes things a little better when you know that there are amazing people and businesses that will go the extra mile for people.Thank you!Thank you!And thank you!!! read more

I always have my vehicles serviced here for tires. The staff is good and the ones inside the office listen well. If you get in the door on a Saturday at open, they rotate your tires and your out the door in 15 minutes. Now the bad news: Service has slipped a lot in the last two years. They constantly lose my valve stem covers during a rotation. Usually just one, but this last time I had three missing. I came in for a tire replacement (nail in the sidewall) and they replaced my spare with my new tire and left my flat tire (the one with the nail in it still mounted under the back of my Jeep). I made them dig for my tire in their recycle pile. It was a $250 dollar tire that only had 100 miles on it. I have directional tires on my Mustang and when they rotated them, they had them rotated in the wrong direction. Come on guys, ugh. :( The techs in the shop need to read the tickets better. The guys in the office always appologize profusely and I never get charged for flat repair, rotations or balancing. They're limited on the variety and sizes in stock and will try and sell you something else. I'm rather perticular and I make them order what I want (they're happy to do so). It's not uncommon to wait for the tire truck for 3 or 4 days so don't be in a hurry - call ahead. read more

I have been a loyal Discount customer back home in Tennessee and have always had great service until moving here. I got a flat tire, came in to replace the tire and the manager suggests buying a set and keeping my other tire as a spare so that I have something reliable to put on. I thought it was great to suggest until they order the wrong rim, get rid of my tire and always make me call them several times a week to check on order status never once calling me. After about two months I have a used tire and the rim I was not intending to have in my trunk. Will drive to Lubbock before I have to deal with these guys again. This place has never disappointed me. I just got a flat tire on the way home from work at 730 am, I work graveyard shift, and rushed straight over there. They had a line already at the door when I got there but their superb customer service took care of everyone and I was out of there in 45 minutes. Best of all since my tires were good and I didn't need a new one on the one that had a flat, I had apparently ran over a house key, they didn't charge me for fixing my flat. We were driving from San Antonio and Lubbock back to Albuquerque. Our low tire pressure light had been on since Lubbock, so we stopped in at a busy time of the morning. Haden was extremely helpful, and even told us that we were going to need new tires eventually - knowing that we would not have the work done in Clovis, but at our neighborhood Discount Tire. I was at the point of almost needing to get new tires and I just could not get over how these guys had treated me...LOL, I took my car in the very next week and did business with them.
