When we discovered an underground water leak leading out to our barn, we contacted Easterday for a quote. I cannot say enough good things about dealing with this company. They came out within 24 hours and gave us an extremely reasonable quote utilizing underground directional boring to bury a new water line from our house into the barn and then install a new water hydrant. Terrible customer service on the phone! I'm trying to find out if my sump pump is still under warranty. The woman who answered the phone was rude and nasty. I wanted to find out if my sump pump is still under warranty, and she refused to help me. At 4:15pm, she rerouted all her calls to an answering service, when it is not closed until 4:30pm. Had a new washer installed, upon the maiden run, discovered the drain had an issue, not wanting to drain as it should. Which caused a run over of the stand pipe. This was on 11-22-22, we had contacted another plumber on the day of the great flood and as of this morning and tonight he had not bothered to return a call. So we contacted Easterday. Called at 8:09 a.m on 11-23-22 and reached their answering service. The young lady was excellent, took all our info and said she would give to them and we would receive a call today. Well here it is 7:48 p.m on 11-23-22 and no call. As of this time we have contacted a 3rd plumber and he will be here on Friday afternoon. We try to use small business whenever possible and did manage to do so today. But at least a return call would be appropriate and the responsible thing to do by the business. We were more than willing to work with them for the day and time of repair, but obviously they don't want the business! read more

First time was a year or so ago thru Lowes to install a toilet we had purchased the second time was yesterday (8/31) to replace an old garbage disposal. We had a issue with 4 of our toilets not working properly and Josh was our plumber and he was very honest, fast and professional . Last minute we had him also look at our shower faucet he mind you didn't come to our house for the shower but did look at it and it was a quick easy fix and he didn't charge us for it. Easterday came out a week ago to fix a leaking toilet. They replaced the seal. Yesterday it began to leak again. I called first thing this morning and they had it fixed by 11am. I have used them in the past and have always been happy with the results. I know that when something with an old house goes wrong that it might take more than one visit. The technician today was helpful, knowledgeable and nice. They did not charge me for the second visit and also rebuilt the inside of the tank at no charge. Will be calling them to replace my water heater. read more

Had a problem with them not finding a leak but they refunded everything they charged me so I'd say at least they made it right in the end.

I used Easterday many times in the past and they use to be reasonable on pricing. However, when I recently started my new remodel I used them to conceal a 1' vent pipe in the ceiling before I closed it in. That was $250.00, but I thought it was due to it being a small job. 2/21/2012 I used them again as I thought that was just a fluke. Ken charged $435.00 to cut and extend and cap to copper lines, cost and install of a closet flange with 90 degree, and to install a toilet without removal. When I called to discuss the extreme pricing I was told by Clint that they charge $185 to remove and replace a toilet but still charged me $175 to only install one. The whole job only took 1 1/2 hours. They use to be reasonable. I called Tom's and received a quote of $250 for the same job, with adding a vanity sink install. Save your money folks, use someone else. Ken Easterday does good work but unreasonable. BTW, they were down the street on the same day, I'll talk to that neighbor. read more

I called them and they came out on 9-10-15. It was a service man and a trainee. They look at our water heater and the heating element had burn wires and they did a check and said out water heater needed to be replace and to do everything it would cost $1450. The trainee then said the electrical was wrong and I would need to bring in a electrician to come out and fix the electric. Well I had my family member come out certified in electric and plumbing and the electric was okay. The water heater was okay as well. What happen the heating element went bad which caused the wires to melt. This happens from time to time. He replaced the element at a cost of $13 and had some correct wires to replace the melted ones for $5.00 and now we have hot water. You wanted to charge me $1450 for brand new heater which I did not need and it cost us $18 to fix and pizza for our member that did it. CAN YOU SAY SCAM ARTIST! I will make sure to get the word out to all my friends and family. You may ask why did we not just ask our family member, well he had no time but when he heard what they wanted to charge us he stepped in. BAD COMPANY SHAME ON YOU! read more
