The bed wasn't heated. I was cold every time she took the blanket off a section. The bed didn't have a head cradle at the top, was rather a hole in the table where you stick your head. At first I hated this as it was uncomfortable but I didn't get a stuffy nose like I typically do with the face cradles. So I preferred this. I don't understand the tea house portion of the name. They had random boxes of tea on a shelf in the waiting area..... Overall, if you get a "deal" then I'd say come here. I would not recommend it for the full price as you can get more customized massages elsewhere.

The room was dimly lit, very clean and there was pleasant tranquil piano music. I loved the atmosphere. My masseuse (Amy) was very good: she asked me beforehand about ongoing issues, told me to warn her if whatever she was doing hurt, and asked my permission to also massage my head/hair (apparently not everybody wants that- it was so good!) I liked that Amy made sure to give attention to my leg which I have injured, without ignoring it all together or overdoing things. I could tell from her technique she knows what she is doing. She used a machine first for my shoulders and back to relieve and warm up my body for about 20 to 25 minutes, then she started rubbing the knots out and it hurt so good. The conversation we were having kept me distracted from how sore my body was. She also noticed that the amount of tension on my shoulders resulted in a slight misalignment in my neck. The office is in an apartment building at the end of a hallway on the 4th floor. I had the last appointment of the day and was surprised to find the halls dim and quiet (no one around) and no receptionist at the desk. The therapist was finishing with another client and when she left I looked around expecting to see someone else. I was alone in the big, quiet building with a 50-something year old man dressed in black. Besides being creeped out that is also unprofessional, especially when a male is treating female clients. You should always have someone else around for the clients safety and comfort and therapists (so they don't get accused of anything). Since the groupon was a gift I hadn't looked into the clinic, but soon realized it was a chiropractic clinic. The groupon was for a swedish massage but the therapist did a lot of just stretching my arms and legs (which I didn't really care for and couldn't relax because of the atmosphere - being alone and the bright room). He also was cracking my fingers and toes with is painful and creeps me out, but he stopped when I asked. The massage was very mediocre and I honestly didn't feel much different after leaving. When I was leaving, the therapist asked me to fill out a survey on the computer.
