True definition of service with a smile!…read more I was recently involved in a car accident, and there was a lot of confusion on the scene as traffic was busy and it occurred right in front of a high-traffic business on a main street. After speaking with the police it was unclear if I needed to call for a tow, or if he would. I called my insurance company and they advised to let the police handle it. I approached the officer once more and he provided me with phone numbers to a couple of different companies. After calling the first company, I wasn't optimistic about how the aftermath of this accident was going to play out. Next I called PJ's and from the moment they answered the phone, I felt relief and assured that everything would be ok. The woman that answered my call was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She was also quick in gathering info and making decisions. She collected my payment info and assured me that I would be charged only once the car was picked up. About 5minutes after leaving the vehicle to seek medical care, the tow truck driver called and told me that they would not be charging me because car was totaled. He took the necessary info from me and said he would take care of the rest. I was elated to avoid the unexpected $100 expense the week of Christmas! I am thankful for PJ's for their service, care, and honesty!

Called 10/18/21 was told still working on the estimate. Since Priority is a preferred provider of my insurance company, I scheduled a date to drop it off for the repair, not concerned about the estimate. Scheduled the drop off for 11/8/21. On 11/23/21 I called my insurance company to find a new provider since my truck had not moved from the spot it was left in on the 8th and I was going to pick it up. The insurance company called Priority and suddenly, my truck was moved. I was told it would be two weeks. I called 12/7. No update and no call back. Called 12/14 and was told it's a big job and it takes time (person who answered the phone had quite the attitude) Called 12/21, was told maybe next week. Drove by on 12/29 and saw my trick sitting in their lot. Stopped in and found out it was finished and ready. Took it home and discovered the radio wasn't reconnected properly and had to take it back. Then, just this week on 1/8 found my rear tire on the repair side of my truck was loose, prompting a call for roadside assistance. They NEVER called me. It took almost 3 months for them to complete the repair although, admittedly, they didn't start 6 or 7 weeks. The work looks good but there is no way I would ever recommend this business to anyone. No communication. No service. If it's possible to give no stars, please make the change for me.

The first shop I visited wasn't comfortable with the diagnostic codes and recommended I go to a Honda dealership. Unfortunately, extending my trip to wait for a dealership appointment wasn't an option. That's when I called Handz On Foreign Auto Care and spoke with Chris, the owner. He patiently talked me through my panic, explained possible causes, and went above and beyond to come in on a Saturday afternoon to help his technician ensure my car was safe for the road. Not only was the service professional and compassionate, but the price for an emergency weekend repair was incredibly fair and comparable to what I would pay at home on a weekday. It started when I took me vehicle in for the insurance estimate (trip #1 to the shop), the adjuster was adamant that I scheduled when to bring it back as they were already scheduling out so far. I was hesitant due to our extra vehicle having an issue but I scheduled anyway, he said if anything changes to let them know. I took my vehicle on the scheduled day March 25, 2026,(trip #2) go in to drop it off and they do not have me on the books and never ordered the parts. Schedule again to drop it off for April 3, 2026,(trip #3) this time I was able to successfully drop off my vehicle. They call me April 22, 2026(trip #4) and tell me my vehicle is ready for pick-up, I work in Battle Creek, so I hurried home at the end of the day grab my husband and head over to get it. It was about 15 minutes before they closed, I had not really been home and just wanted to get there so I didnt look it over (I have also NEVER had an issue with any of the other repairs I have had done elsewhere). When I got home I actually looked at it, it was terrible work. There were parts ripped and just sat back in, things that should have been repaired weren't, gaps with over a 1/4" difference from side to side (I measured them) and gaps that were just entirely too large. I called the next day and took it back (trip #5). I was told there is no longer a manager at that location and dealt with the "acting manager". He looked it all over, took into the back to make some of the gaps better and tried to get us to "meet him in the middle" on some of the issue. He then said he would get everything ordered and call us the following day. After a month of not hearing anything I called then again, was informed I would have to bring my vehicle in AGAIN for the issues to be looked at as that person was also no longer employed and there was a new manager. Finally, I was able to take me vehicle in again on June 19,2026 (trip#6) yet the manager was not there. I informed the employee that I would not be leaving without a list of the repairs as I would not be doing this step a 3rd time. He was utterly dumbfounded as to what I was asking for! The manager called me the following Monday June 22, 2026 to discuss the issues with me and told me he would be ordering the parts and would call me "tomorrow". I called again July 16, 2026 as I still had not heard anything. As I sit here almost 3 months now from when I initially picked up my vehicle (just short of 5 months from my accident) my vehicle is still not repaired correctly and I do not have a timeline as to when that will occur, I do know I will still have a minimum of 2 more trips to this shop for this one repair!
