Those are pretty good rates - this isn't the first time I've had to do something like this.

While I was on the phone with the rep, I canceled the service on the same phone call that requested the service as I was able to get inside my home another way. The rep who was on the phone with me that night did NOT say that there would be no refunds. He said he would check with the team and see what they could do. After calling the business every business day until I could get confirmation on my refund, one of the leads was very rude and told me that I would not be getting my money back as it's "nonrefundable" due to it being a "after-hours night service" - he really tried to make me feel bad that I was using their "24 hour service business" late at night for why they "need" the pre-payment. Facts: 1) NO REPS LEFT YOUR OFFICE TO GO TO MY HOME. 2) I never signed a contract agreeing to any sort of service or non-refundable payment. 3) Due to it being "late night", your team needs a (non-refundable) "pre-payment" before they can come - despite your business being listed as 24 Hours. I have given East Lansing Locksmith a month to DO THE RIGHT THING and refund me my hard-earned $225. If I receive my money back, I will take this negative review down.

I was told the key would arrive within a few days, but that deadline passed without any update. I even followed up again the next Tuesday and was told the key would arrive "tomorrow" and that I'd receive a call, but no one ever contacted me. The locksmith finally showed up on September 26, more than two weeks later, but arrived unprepared and said he didn't have the proper tool to replace the battery in the fob. He verbally promised he'd return and finish programming it at no additional cost, but when I asked for written confirmation, he refused at first then sent me a I give you my word but didn't want to put what that was for probably so there wasn't evidence. When I mentioned that many other negative reviews described this exact same situation, he became visibly upset, refused to even take the keys back, abruptly ended the interaction, and sped away from my property without completing the job. At the end of this ordeal, I still do not have a working key fob, which was the entire reason I hired this company. I strongly advise anyone reading this to believe the negative reviews, the similarities speak for themselves, and unfortunately, I experienced the exact same issues others warned about. Save yourself the stress and go elsewhere.
