I've rented at this location about 5 or 6x and I promise you, Maliah is the only competent and kind worker here. I fear the others are some of the laziest and the most blatantly rude workers I've encountered in a long time. They will greet you but do not like answering questions OR the phone. Like I dead had to wait 1.5 hrs once and the phone rang like more than 15 times and they didn't answer once. BOOK ON THEIR WEBSITE ONLY!! Do not use their app or a third party site as they will overcharge you and do not provide you with a full list of Easirents policies that will also lead to more charges lol. MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! If you want to pay the actual price you saw when you booked then you have to come with your own FULL COVERAGE insurance and deny the toll pass, which is like $20+/per day. If you only have liability insurance then they'll charge you like $15/per day vs $35/per day if you have no insurance. Also, if you deny the toll pass make sure you set your maps app to avoid tolls and do your very best to not get on the express way (the feeders take a little getting used to so pay close attention to the road signs) because they will charge you $25 for going on it PLUS $25 every single time you get on- it's NOT per day‼ The shuttle is super unreliable from the airport to the rental location but when it comes, the drivers are pretty friendly and it's not a long drive to the hotel/rental location. I suggest getting a ride share if you're on a serious time crunch. Pro tip, call and request the shuttle as SOON as the flight attendants say you can use your phone lol. From the rental location back to the airport is wayyyy smoother. It runs on a tighter schedule. I can't remember his name right now, but the young male driver with the locs is always smiles lol. The actual rental location is dingy and could use a lot of tlc. From the chairs, to the decorations, to the smell- yeahh they leave a lot to desired BUT the hotel attached is usually pretty clean and that's a major plus since their bathroom is in the hotel. Now, the cars are probably going to be dirty lol so be sure to bring a travel size pack of Clorox or Lysol wipes and a plastic bag to possibly collect trash. I've also gotten a couple that didn't have a working phone port or don't have a usb port at all just the c-type, which is obviously out of their control but something to note so you don't end up having to buy a new phone charger. If the car is noticeably dirty (inside or out), complain and ask them to allow you to return it with half a tank less than you got it or on empty if you have a booking longer than 4 days. They're usually pretty good about being accommodating because I think they all know the cleaner sucks or that the cars aren't getting cleaned at all. Oh and sometimes they get overbooked and won't notify you even if you have a reservation so I suggest booking another reservation that won't charge you if you don't show up. So yeah just come in with low expectations or pray Malliah is working lmaoo. It's cheap as hell but it's literally because they wouldn't last charging anymore than they do! When I brought the errors to her attention, she refused to cancel and redo the contract. I've been waiting over three weeks for a refund and response from management, but so far, I've heard nothing. Emails bounce back, and no one answers the phones. Compounding the frustration, I was told that management wasn't available on-site on both the day of my rental and return. This lack of oversight may explain the poor service I experienced. Key Issues: Unclean - The inside of the vehicle smelled just like smoke. We rented a vehicle for 4/19 to 4/21 when we arrived the car was not ready we were told they needed to clean it and it would take 15 mins. It took over 30 mins then the car was not even clean. Gum wrappers in the doors dirt everywhere it was nasty. On top of that they gave us the rental basically on Empty! When we got to our hotel we already had the gas light come on. Rented a car from June 18th to the 26th. I picked the dirty car up right as they were closing. I get down the road and notice the car was shaking. I try to call them but they are closed. So I call the 800 assistance line and they get a wrecker to get the car first thing the next morning. I get it, things happen. We'll the shyt show begins. I called them and used the online chat at least 50 times trying to get anybody with more than 2 brain cells to rectify this situation. Managment hides and won't get on the phone. Nobody knows anything. They refused to get me a replacement car so I ultimately had to get a car from Alamo. They refused to give me a refund. They still refuse to talk to me about it and blame me for the car even though I have video proof that it was dirty and had problem when I picked ut up. Run away from this company. It took 1.5 hours for the shuttle to pick me up from the airport which is 5-7 minutes away from the rental location. The rental car was awful. I ended up missing my work appointment due to the unprofessionalism of the company. Upon arrival to the location I wanted an additional 20 mins for someone to help me- granted I was the only customer in the building waiting. They have really cheap rates but make up for this by hitting you with a bunch of hidden charges: 1) They will require you to buy insurance at very high rates unless you prove that you have full coverage through your own insurance company 2) You must show them proof of an airline ticket departing on the day you return your car. If you do not have this, they will raise your rates 3) They will charge you $25 PER TOLL if you drive on a tollroad, unless you pay $10 per day for a toll tag 4) They will charge you a $250 cleaning fee if there is any dirt on your floor mats, which there will be just from normal use They will also try to give you a cheaper car than what you reserved. I reserved a full-size SUV and they tried to give me an ultra-compact crossover. When you add all of this up, you will spend more here than at mainstream providers. The customer service is also way slower because they are understaffed and waste a lot of time dealing with angry customers. It took us more than an hour to get our car. They also have very limited hours and few shuttles. If you have an 8 am flight as we did then you will have to pay for your own Uber from the drop off site as their shuttle doesn't start running until later in the day. read more

Review for Easirental - Texas Airport Location I made a reservation in advance through Priceline for an SUV at the Texas airport location. When I arrived, they did not have my rental available. I was on a tight schedule and couldn't wait for another vehicle, so they gave me a Chevy Malibu compact car instead. Unfortunately, this car was very uncomfortable and my luggage didn't even fit in the trunk. On top of that, I was incorrectly charged an additional fee for a second driver, even though I explained it was just for a brief moment and that only one person would be driving for the entire trip. I asked them to correct the billing, and I also assumed they would automatically adjust the price difference since I was given a compact car instead of the SUV I paid for. The employee assured me the refund would be credited to my account by the time I returned the car. When I returned the car, the refund was still not processed. I brought it up again and was told to wait a few more days, possibly due to the weekend. Weeks later, I still had not received the refund. Calling their customer service has been a nightmare -- long waits, being transferred around, and no resolution. I spoke to two different managers: Kanika, who was extremely rude and even hung up on me, and Dynasty, who was dismissive and claimed they would not be issuing any refund. She also stated that they didn't owe me a price adjustment for being downgraded from an SUV to a compact car, which is completely unacceptable. This rental took place July 30 through August 5, and now, more than a month later, nothing has been resolved. This is by far the worst car rental exercise I've ever had. First off, the vehicle that I rented was not there when I arrived. Apparently, several people rented the same vehicle, because there were several of us waiting to get an SUV. None of us got one! Seems we all left with small sedans that cost more! We were then put in a car with no gas, and a check engine light on inside the vehicle. When I went to exchange it, I was made aware of several hidden fees. I was not told about the toll fee, I had to read a review that told me about the cost. Once I received the other vehicle, it only had half a tank of gas, was no clean. Overall the experience was not good at all, but the ladies and guys working were patient with everyone complaining about the rental situations. We had a frustrating experience at  Houston Airport location near the Courtyard Marriott, Easy Car Rental. When making the reservation, we had clearly selected  6 passengers. When got there we were given a 5 seater SUV.  It was around 9 pm at night so we said that we were willing to pay the difference for an upgrade which should have been covered by them due to their mismatch. We also faced difficulties with insurance policy coverage, even though our credit card would cover car rental insurance. The staff insisted we have tp provide proof of personal liability insurance. We gave them the policy number but the staff gave us a very hard time accepting it.  It was past office hours and we could not contact insurance company. Additionally their WIFI was very weak and made it impossible to obtain additional  insurance information they needed so we need up paying extra for insurance as well,  even though we were already covered. read more

I had a terrible experience with easy rent at Intercontinental Airport in Houston. One of the employees apparently stole my credit card number and used it that night that I rented the car and I had to cancel the card. In addition, they charged me an extra $66 for no reason at all and reported me to a collection agency for the first time ever. I will never never rent from a low rent place like that again. The doubled the price with a very small quote in fine print "may be a price increase." The car wad dirty and d reeked of weed when we finally got it. I went in to the "EasyRent" location at George Bush International Airport yesterday morning and I left without a car! I have never been treated so horribly in my entire life! There was two women sitting there eating the entire time and when they couldn't find my reservation they did absolutely NOTHING to help me! If I could give no stars I would. It took more than an hour for a shuttle to show up and when it finally came they were full and could not take me. Finally took an Uber only to have to wait more than an hour for someone to help me. There was only one person at the desk helping and the driver of the van and another person at the desk were just sitting not helping. I pre-paid for an SUV only to be told all were taken and the ones there were being oil changed. The cars were old with high miles and when they finally gave me their "best" rental it already had almost 50k miles which was dirty and stinky inside. The tires were balding which makes sense because on my way out I saw a small truck delivering what looked to be used tires. They would not refund me the extra $ I paid for an SUV because they claim there is no guarantee what car I get and since I did not pay for a toll pass, when I accidentally got on a toll road the day I returned the car, which I told them what happened, they told me that for every toll I passed I would be charged $25 each for service fee plus whatever the toll amount was. Literally the worst Customer Service I have ever experienced from a rental agency. For whatever reason it also cost $20 for an Uber that was only a few miles down the street to their facility. I was there to see my daughter who had just given birth and it literally took me 3 hours to get my rental car. It was the rental experience from hell.
