    Customer service is terrible. 3 very heavy set woman who look like they would rather be anywhere else. They are not efficient in service. People been standing around for more then 39 mins. Communication between the front counter and the other employees is terrible. Definitely do not recommend ever.

    This was one of the most efficient rentals so far. Team was awesome. The driver from the airport was great as well.

    Follow travelers. If you have 2 hrs to burn so you can rent a car from this location. Even with a confirmed reservation. Spoke with a shift manager and was informed this is a union location so as a shift manager they cannot help. Stay away from this location.

She went above and beyond by giving me great advice on which areas are safe, where to eat, and where to have a good time during my stay. She was warm, personable, and we even bonded because her son is joining the military and I served for about eight years myself. I was able to share some advice and experiences, and it truly felt like talking to a friend, not just a rental agent. Erin was my return agent, and she made that process just as smooth. She was super nice, extremely helpful, and even caught that I had left a few items in the vehicle--something I tend to do since I'm forgetful. Her attentiveness and hospitality really stood out. Both Shar and Erin represent Alamo/National with professionalism and genuine care for customers. I left feeling taken care of, and I highly recommend this location!

Shuttle service to and from the airport was amazing and both drivers were extremely kind. Everyone that I interacted with here was incredibly helpful and friendly. I didn't have to wait at all when I got the car and my gas was even comped upon returning! Plus it was very affordable. My first time renting through Alamo and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Not wanting to inconvenience my family due to them possibly being busy, I decided it would be best to rent a car. I was able to make a reservation for a car while exiting the airport, which I found to be very convenient. When I came out the terminal, the shuttle for the car rental place was already outside and ready to take me to the location. Once I got to the rental location, I approached the desk and gave the customer service rep my ID and reservation number. Once the rep found my info, I was told that I was too early for the reservation and needed to wait. No problem...understandable. After about 20 minutes, I was allowed to come back up to the desk to process my rental. The rep I dealt with was pleasant and gave me a good recommendation on somewhere to eat. Everything was going well until it came time to authorize my car rental purchase. Once I inserted my card, everything was confirmed and approved. By the way, please make sure you have a credit card for the rental. I saw at least two people come in with debit cards not be allowed to get their rental. Here's where the issue occurred. Somewhere in the rep's process, it was discovered that I had a rental car out in their system. I confirmed to the rep that I have a rental through Avis back home that I was using for business purposes. Once this was discovered, a manager was alerted of the matter. The manager stated the only way I could get the rental would be if I had another driver on the vehicle. Since I was traveling by myself, I was not allowed to get the rental. No problem...understandable. Seeing that the authorization on my card went through, I asked the rep when the authorization would be removed so that I could attempt to rent from another company. The rep stated that they didn't process anything so nothing should've went through. Houston...we have a problem and it's not understandable. I advised the rep there absolutely was a charge that went through and I needed to know when it would be gone. They stated it should be cleared after midnight. Unfortunately, the authorization is still on my card and I wound up utilizing rideshare companies the whole weekend to get around. It was a great inconvenience to what I wanted to do. I don't know the process for getting reservations done, but something needs to be instituted that prevents this from happening to anyone else again. I probably could've went to another place, but my time had already been soured by the experience. I hope this finds the right department so that this step could be implemented.

I asked for a copy of the contract I was signing and was told, "This is Payless!" The car smelled like marijuana with a fragrance overspray. I drove with the rear windows down. The windshield was so dirty I could hardly see out of it. There was no wiper fluid! I had to pour water on it while the wipers were working. At the return, I was told that I would get a final receipt via email. Its been 4 days and I haven't received anything.

(Fremont), Fanta (NYC), Blonde (NV), Jon (Philly), Russell (DE), and Charles (Vegas), while Josh (Arlington), Larry (MD), Heather (Weatherford), Bobbie (Boston), Belinda (Santa Monica), Mark (Garland), Lanette (Rialto), Mike (IL), Melody (IL), and Leah (Stafford) swore to never use Budget again based on their experience. Customer service? Rude (Sade), rude and impatient (Lanette), rude and stupid (Jon), rude w/ no customer service skills (Quince from DC), rude and slow (Farmie from Antelope), disrespectful (Josh), dishonest (Fanta & Lanette), pathetic (Charles), horrible (Lovely from Brea), unavailable by phone (Lanette and Bryan from OK), and not very nice with no sense of urgency (Blonde from NV). Checkout clerk was nasty (Blonde) and rude (Mai from Long Beach). Slow: Hour wait (A.R., Larry, and Leah), 11 people : 2 workers (Court from Illinois), 10:1 (Heather), 10:2 and 90 minute wait (Party from Escondido), and long af line (Farmie). My three star experience, therefore, is a fluke? I came in at 7:00am on a Sunday, by Uber. It wasn't clear if this was a lot or an agency as the building was hundreds of feet from the exit. Not arriving with a full shuttle bus following a flight, I had three workers and no line. They were friendly (one of them said Beaver Nuggets when I asked for BucCee's recommendations). We had inadvertently reserved an electric car, so we had understandably had to pay a slight up charge for a gas car. Despite it being the Total Eclipse weekend, they didn't jack the prices up. There was a tiny but questionable bait and switch, as he offered a Camry, but gave us a Chevy Malibu, which I knew were crappy with bad visibility. The car had enough scratches and scuffs to warrant taking a video, though the checkout attendant, annoyed to be of service, said we didn't need to note the quality of the vehicle. My review might change once I get the final bill. I might get charged a no-waiting fee or a BucCee's recommendation cost.

Avis rep is friendly, but has bad news, there are no cars in my class, and barely any cars at all. I could upgrade to a minivan, 4x's the cost, or take a Mach E for the amount I reserved. (Flashbacks to Seinfeld's "if you knew what a reservation was, I'd have a car!" I advised neither works, we're driving long days and staying at multiple hotels, no concept of recharging (like I'm sure everybody else told them earlier in the day). We work out, that if I take the EV, and come back in the morning, they'll have a compact SUV for me. Tired from a day of travel and time change, we take the EV to the hotel, it has 27% charge remaining, and so glad we didn't wreck trying to sort the EV's special needs, and it's vague navigation screen. Back the next morning, still no Budget counter staff, Avis helps out. I get a hand written "summary" of car details, no printed contract or followup info. Walk out, garage staffs points me to a Ford Flex "keys are in it, have fun". I put my hand on the hood, hotter than hell, a few water spots are on the body, it's very dark, so I make my best video walkaround for condition, load our gear, and drive it out of the garage. In day light, the exterior is beyond filthy, it's covered from bumper to bumper in fine silt! Odd condition for an urban location and no rain since we got there. Inside was mostly keen, some empty bottles and wraps are in the back seat. Ford Flex works fine throughout the week. Come back at 10pm on return day. NO STAFF in the garage. I take the keys inside with me to the Avis desk. "Just drop the keys in the car, we'll email you your receipt". What a frustrating way to receive and surrender a 30K vehicle, so sloppy and lax. Not sure what happens if a thief takes the unsecured car without a proper checking attendant. Eventual billing was correct against my reservation. I'll never get my 90 minutes lost on the vehicle swap and return. Between to companies/staff, they still didn't have enough cars or people to provide national level service. Half star for the desk staff, politely fending off the angry customers with class, while management neglects the needs of clients and staff with distinct malice.

Just make you actually read it or you're…read moreliable to pay 2-3x more than you expected to or be pissy because you think you're going to get Hertz level service! I've rented at this location about 5 or 6x and I promise you, Maliah is the only competent and kind worker here. I fear the others are some of the laziest and the most blatantly rude workers I've encountered in a long time. They will greet you but do not like answering questions OR the phone. Like I dead had to wait 1.5 hrs once and the phone rang like more than 15 times and they didn't answer once. BOOK ON THEIR WEBSITE ONLY!! Do not use their app or a third party site as they will overcharge you and do not provide you with a full list of Easirents policies that will also lead to more charges lol. MOST IMPORTANT PART!!! If you want to pay the actual price you saw when you booked then you have to come with your own FULL COVERAGE insurance and deny the toll pass, which is like $20+/per day. If you only have liability insurance then they'll charge you like $15/per day vs $35/per day if you have no insurance. Also, if you deny the toll pass make sure you set your maps app to avoid tolls and do your very best to not get on the express way (the feeders take a little getting used to so pay close attention to the road signs) because they will charge you $25 for going on it PLUS $25 every single time you get on- it's NOT per day‼ The shuttle is super unreliable from the airport to the rental location but when it comes, the drivers are pretty friendly and it's not a long drive to the hotel/rental location. I suggest getting a ride share if you're on a serious time crunch. Pro tip, call and request the shuttle as SOON as the flight attendants say you can use your phone lol. From the rental location back to the airport is wayyyy smoother. It runs on a tighter schedule. I can't remember his name right now, but the young male driver with the locs is always smiles lol. The actual rental location is dingy and could use a lot of tlc. From the chairs, to the decorations, to the smell- yeahh they leave a lot to desired BUT the hotel attached is usually pretty clean and that's a major plus since their bathroom is in the hotel. Now, the cars are probably going to be dirty lol so be sure to bring a travel size pack of Clorox or Lysol wipes and a plastic bag to possibly collect trash. I've also gotten a couple that didn't have a working phone port or don't have a usb port at all just the c-type, which is obviously out of their control but something to note so you don't end up having to buy a new phone charger. If the car is noticeably dirty (inside or out), complain and ask them to allow you to return it with half a tank less than you got it or on empty if you have a booking longer than 4 days. They're usually pretty good about being accommodating because I think they all know the cleaner sucks or that the cars aren't getting cleaned at all. Oh and sometimes they get overbooked and won't notify you even if you have a reservation so I suggest booking another reservation that won't charge you if you don't show up. So yeah just come in with low expectations or pray Malliah is working lmaoo. It's cheap as hell but it's literally because they wouldn't last charging anymore than they do! Happy renting :))

The only reason I haven't walked out is because I paid ahead of time for this car. We have a reservation! We booked through Armed Forces Vacation Travel! This is how active duty military are treated? The office is filthy. The staff need proper training on how to handle customers and the extremely long wait times. They are slow and rude! This has truly been a nightmare after traveling all the way from Hawaii.
