I can honestly say that the craftsmanship of their jewelry is remarkable. I have been going to Rockport for many decades, and this is always my first stop! I have bought pieces in gold, silver, mixed metals. plain, intricate designs, with pearls and stones. There is something for everyone. I'm can't say enough about this amazing place. Take a trip to Rockport for its beautiful scenery, have a lobster roll, and pick up a piece, (or more), of James Russel's fabulous jewelry. You won't regret it!

Was told it would take 2 wks. Stupid me, gave them the one I still had. Gave him my name, address, tel #, email and ups acct # to ship it back to me, since it's a 3hr drive to get there. I sent messages on fb and emails and voice messages. NOTHING!! My daughter happened to go there this past March. Inquired about my earring, showing a picture of it. Was told by the son that they would get back to us in a week. Still haven't heard back! Like brother, like brother, like son! Customer service is a BIG FAT '0'. So now I have paid for a set of earrings, lost one and gave the remainder back to them. They can make another and resell the set. A lousy way to make a buck!! It is despicable!!!

I didn't buy anything but I wanted to!…read more I spent much of yesterday crystal shopping as I was hunting for a new ring. I stepped into this special space and told the older gentleman what I was looking for. He was so kind and opened every case for me to try rings on while I had my son in his infant carrier. I was having a private QUIET whispering conversation with my fiancé about items in the store and seeing which one he liked for a set of earrings. The man behind the counter chimes into said conversation by saying, "yeah that piece is so nice" Annoyed--so i put back the earring and proceed to the small display of rings. just staring at them. He again says" we have that moonstone ring over here as well in other colors and in gold and in many sizes--he kept pushing and pushing the item no matter what angle you said that you weren't interested or were looking for something different.
