Always a neat curated selection. My wife and my sister love to visit here every time we come to Rockport. There is not only jewelry but clothes and accessories. And they've even added sandwiches and beverages (haven't had them yet but probably better than some of that fried beach stuff). The collection always changes so if you like something, buy it. I was surprised that the jewelry is at reasonable prices-- there were so many cute pieces to choose from so I ended up not buying anything but I wish I could go back to buy some of the earrings. The very cute clothing is at typical boutique prices-- although slightly on the low end so that you could buy it on a normal budget if you wanted to (but I'm cheap-- if a dress is over $25 I'm not going to buy it). High fashion and semi-reasonable prices-- not at all what you would expect from a seaside boutique. read more

Wicked Peacock is a fantastic little jewelry shop that you should definitely stop into when you're visiting Rockport or Cape Ann. A friend and I got caught in a passing rain shower, and stepped inside to let it pass. The shop is cozy, and every corner is packed with distinctive, fantastic jewelry options. It's definitely the type of place where you can get something really unusual, like constellation earrings or a handmade necklace. Perfect for a gift or for a keepsake of a great day for yourself. Unlike many places in Rockport, the prices are very reasonable and your budget definitely stretches further here. The shopkeeper was very warm and friendly to the people crowding her shop in the rain, and answered endless amounts of questions with a lot of knowledge and friendly demeanor. I was in Rockport Monday and I stopped in and was really pleasantly surprised. Most of the shops there are typical tourist seaside knick knacks but this was not the case at all. The jewelry and accessories were so beautiful, well made, modern. I was really surprised the prices weren't higher also. I bought a pair of cute earrings. I checked out the website but I wish it had more of the items on it available for purchase online because the store was packed full of awesome stuff - I was ready to splurge for more online. But there wasn't much on the website. That's my only critique is that people from out of town might want to take advantage of the website! In between the search for the perfect lobster roll and the search for the perfect 3 scoops of ice cream to soothe our beach-worn souls, my friends and I landed in here, dragging our good-natured guy friend in tow. We perused the tables of unique, fashion-forward jewelry, while our male counterpart gave us his safe non-opinion opinions on whether or not they looked good on us. You can interrogate a man all you want, but he will likely never give you his true opinion on how chartreuse and turquoise look like on you:D. The store looks like a girl's dream walk-in closet for accessories alone. Ranging from $14 earrings to $150 purses, you'll find a large collection of cute patterned fedoras, leather satchels, bright clutches, jewelry ranging from bohemian to geometric and edgy. The owner, Silvana (Silvania?), has the energy of an upbeat cheerleader, and told us she tries to source some of her products from small/emerging designers, which is apparent in some of the more unique pieces found here. Small businesses supporting other small businesses: I dig it. I appreciate the well-curated collection of jewelry and accessories that makes this place both a cute store and a rare, fun shopping experience. My friends and I all walked away with a few new wardrobe gems, and our male counterpart survived a bout of shopping with a hoard of women, so I'll call this a success:). Though this is a bit of a hike from Boston proper, it's definitely worth a peek if you're up in the northshore. It's the type of (affordable) boutique I wish existed in Boston itself, but alas, a short drive away isn't too bad either. read more

There are no jeans at the Wicked Peacock as another reviewer stated that's another store the owner runs just to be correct. The Wicked Peacock has no clear return policy it state's exchanges without receipt. Business 101 if the return policy isn't clearly stated the customer is always right. Hope this unfriendly owner figures it out even an employee tried to defend us but the owner quickly talked over her. Definitely skip this shop poorly run as is the other overpriced shop run by the same person. read more

Absolutely adore Wicked Peacock. The vibe is so fresh, and especially unique in the Rockport area. The owner travels all over to curate her collections and she clearly has an excellent eye! I always make it a point to pop in when Im up on the North Shore and Im never disappointed! The shop is small, but you can still spend a lot of time perusing the beautiful displays and playing dress up. I've gifted Wicked Peacock finds many times and have friends who still gush about their favorite earings/scarves/necklaces/rings/etc. All the sales girls are super sweet, and Silvana (the owner) is a gem. They also have a website that I've shopped from. It doesnt have everything that the brick and mortar shop does, but still some really great stuff! read more

I spent an overcast Saturday working in and exploring Rockport and came across this boutique. I mean really, the name itself is intriguing and interesting at the very least. I walked in and was immediately greeted by a free-spirited and upbeat gal who runs the store. She urged me to try on earrings and gave me time and space to do so and peruse the store. She answered all the questions I had while juggling other customers - and she did all that with the biggest smile and personality I've seen in a while. I ended up purchasing a bracelet from the Shine Project; proceeds go towards helping first generation students get to college. That's a cause that's near and dear to my heart and the sparrow bracelet I bought will be a staple accessory now. Do support this awesome endeavor! I would love to return to this boutique as the range of jewelry, bags, etc was quite large - from edgy to preppy and geometric to free-flowing. Really hip, cute boutique. My issue is that they do not carry any of their clothing above large and even the large sizes are few and far between. If you are skinny def go in. Large women will just be sad looming at all the cute prints they can't get. They are on the pricey side....BUT...their shop has unique pieces. read more

As much as i've tried to like this store I just never see anything I like jewelry-wise. I would love to get more funky pieces but these just do NOT speak to me at all. I can't buy stuff for friends here either. Just nothing really special or cool, just junky overpriced stuff. The lady is VERY loud, she's nice but so eager to sell sell sell and she says everything looks so GREAT, but clearly it's not my flavor, and I am not a prude or a vanilla girl. Don't even get me started on REAL fox tails, come on it's 2014 where is compassion? UGH I wanted to support small business! Wicked Peacock is AWESOME! Great for this little town to funk it up a little. Having price ranges for both visiting tourists such as kids and adults, there are accessories for everyone. High end designers are featured, as well as local artisans, but cheaper jewelry is also available for gifts and fun little things.
