After my terrible experience at Long's, I did a Google search for "watch appraisal" and Golden Link popped up. I was close by and decided to give it a try, not hoping for my success. How wrong was I? Haviv & Sandy were lovely. My first impression set the tone when they suggested that I should go to Long's as they sell the watches I wanted appraised. They were trying to do the best for me over just getting business. I explained my experience at Long's and Haviv & Sandy said they would take care of me. And they did. I left with an appraisal after some great conversation about Vegas. Lovely couple and so friendly. Watching them interact with other customers confirmed they treat everyone the same. Disappointing experience from start to finish. The owner was extremely rude when I came in without my receipt -- completely unnecessary. A woman on staff was helpful and resolved the issue, which I appreciated. But at $25 per clasp, I expected quality work. One clasps broke after just one wear. Golden Link has become my go to jewelry store. I am very tough on my rings and tend to lose stones pretty often. I've had them fixed there many times for reasonable prices. My parents also ordered custom birthstone earrings for my daughter there when she was a baby. They were gorgeous for the price they paid. They are very giving and friendly people. I recently had a relative pass away and I took a bunch of her jewelry there so that I could sort through what was real and what was costume. I was very appreciative of their time and patience helping me identify pieces and they even cleaned a bunch of them for me to get a better look at them. When I decide to remodel any of them, this is where I will be taking them to be worked on. Another jeweler right down the street, who boats custom work, took hugely advantage of me in the past when designing my wedding ring so, it was nice to finally find another jeweler that I can trust. Was really disappointed today by Haviv and especially his wife, when I went in to pick up some small repairs. A pleasant conversation about cruises was turned into a political discussion. Three times I said "We will just have to agree to disagree." But they wouldn't stop. When his wife came over it got even worse, with her being a bully and condescending. How unprofessional and rude. I don't care what someone's religion, race or political beliefs are...but I do expect to be treated respectfully when I am giving my business to you. I would never treat my own customers the way they treated me and will no longer patronize this place or recommend them to my own clients. It was disgraceful. read more

Had 5 pieces of jewelry repaired. Mr.Shaul is a wonderful jeweler! He was able to repair my mom's antique rings, pendant, and bracelet for a very reasonable price and fast service. (And I did shop around.) The workmanship done was flawless. My family will be bringing our jewelry to Golden Link for future jewelry services. They do have some awesome pieces at the store, too. I truly love the golden link, Haviv - the talented master jeweler/owner of Golden Link.... and Sandy, Haviv's wife. I have many reasons. Let me explain why... Haviv has custom built - from scratch - some truly gorgeous pieces for my family and I. He listened intently to my ideas, looked at pictures of what I liked & drew me a mock up of what he'd do. If you don't like it the mock up, he'll rip up the notes & start over without so much as blinking an eye. The final product is truly breath taking.... My 8 year old wants to know when she can have Haviv's custom pieces! His wife Sandy also works at the Golden Link & has quite the eye when creating a custom piece. Sandy & Haviv know just how important it is to get it "just right" and they worked with me tirelessly on my designs. He spent much time doing so & was happy to do so. His patience and attention to detail are second to none. I gave him a budget and he honored it without hesitation, compliant or disrespect. I get compliments on the pieces each & every time I wear them.... They're THAT pretty. He truly deserves the title of "master jeweler". His work is higher in quality & quantity than any chain store and any Boston shop. He designs amazing jewelry in the event that you don't have a custom design in mind.... They also carry LaFonn jewelry which is very affordable pieces for every day wear. Very high quality pieces that I love, but many places don't carry this designer. Haviv can work with any stone, including my all time favorite - moissanite - which many jewelers won't work with yet. My chain has great sentimental value to me, and I never take it off. The ends were beginning to wear away and I was worried it would break and I'd lose it. I brought it in for repair, and the owner told me it would be ready in a week. Well I guess I made a sad face because he said commented on my reaction. I explained how I feel about the chain, so he said ok it will be done today! Wow, what a kind man!!!! It was repaired and cleaned that day and I'm so happy!!! Looks brand new!! I had lived less than 2 miles fromGolden Link for years and never went in until I moved 2500 miles away! I had come back to visit a few years back and needed a ring reset and some loose stones made into a necklace. My mother had told me what a pleasant experience she had there purchasing her granddaughter a necklace. So I took a chance and was so happy I did! The ring came out absolutely stunning as well did the necklace. They are such a great couple. I so enjoy chatting with Sandy and Haviv is a very knowledgeable and talented jeweler. Their pieces are so beautiful and unique. I had recently been back again and brought a beloved ring to be switched from a gold setting to white gold. Heviv told me the cost but also suggested if I wanted it before I was to return to Az and a cheaper way to see if I would like the silver setting was to dip it instead and can alway make it permanent later. I was hesitant as it is one of the most Sentimental pieces of jewelry I own but he assured me that it wouldn't ruin anything and I trusted him so I did it. Today my husband and I went in for the first time to get his wedding band sized. A friend told us about the place so we decided to give them a chance. WOW! We are 100% satisfied with the work they did. Haviv and his wife, Sandy, were so nice. Haviv was able to size my husbands band and fix the prong on my diamond while we waited. Sandy, the owner is extremely rude. My husband and daughter went in on a whim to get my daughter a gold necklace for a charm & was treated very rudely by Sandy. She at one point walked away and didn't come back to help them. I would not recommend going here. read more
