After calling around to a few other local jewelers who had told me they could have my ring sent out to be looked at, i finally remembered a lovely woman Sarah's advice to take it to Chris. I called him and explained my issue and he assured me that he himself would look at it and give me his honest advice on what could be done to fix the ring and if he couldn't fix it he would help me figure out my next step. The next day when I went to his store he took the time to go over my ring under the microscope with me and explain why it continued to break and what his plan was to fix it. Now i have my ring back in less than a week (even after a holiday weekend!) and it looks better than it did the day we bought it! I truly could not be happier and more thankful and I will continue to go to Chris for any of my jewelry needs and I suggest that you do too!

My daughter is 13 so I gave her a budget of about $100 but let her choose. When she came out after a few minutes she said she really wanted to get me a bracelet but it was about $25 more than I had given her. No biggie, I gave her more and they came out with a blue lace stone and sterling silver bracelet with a toggle clasp. It was slightly too small, so the owner put another stone on the end and said she wouldn't charge me. Halfway thru the year the toggle clasp wore away down to brass. I was pretty surprised since the shop people and the receipt said sterling silver. I brought it back to the owner when I visited this summer and asked for the toggle to be changed out for a sterling one. She said she would charge me $30 to replace it, claiming just because the bracelet was advertised as sterling it only meant the beads between the stones were silver, not the clasp. She I.formed me that by replacing the real clasp with the cheap plated one was now not part of the original price, since she enlarged it for me. She was so haughty and abrupt I just left, not wanting to giver her any additional business. The whole experience was deceptive especially since it involved children.
