I've been wanting to try this place for a while now because I see it everywhere, and it was actually really good! The acai was so yummy, and I also got granola, cacao nibs, peanut butter, chia seed pudding, banana, strawberry, blueberry, and almonds as toppings. All the fruits tasted fresh and I loveddd the peanut butter! I would probably skip out on the cacao nibs next time because it made this bitter (but I guess that's what healthy chocolate tastes like...) but everything else was great! I really wish it didn't cost extra to get almond butter bc i would get that for sure. Portion size was amazing, they stack pack your cup full! It was filling enough to be a meal :) Server was really nice and patient, and it wasn't busy on a Monday evening :) It's a pretty small store, but they do have a table.

I don't know why but something just same over me and having a juice beverage sounded correct - it must have been the nice weather that has finally hit NYC. Anyway, we headed over to check it out. JG sells a variety of juices and smoothies in several flavor combinations. Some of them are fruit-based, some are milk-based, and some have additions to help with immunity, detox, etc. Since I'm not a regular juice or smoothie drinker, I was looking for something with flavors I liked and not loaded with calories. I found that in the Cherry C Monster - this contained cherries, pineapple, dragon fruit, banana, and orange juice. The smoothie was quite good - lots of cherry flavor and surprisingly not too sweet. Service was fast and efficient - they're pounding out those smoothies at a rapid pace so my order was ready in no time. Overall, I had a good first experience at Juice Generation - I don't think it will be a go-to based on my tastes, but if the mood catches me I would definitely return.

I also love their Kale Monster drink, but I forget the number for it on their menu. The staff is super friendly. If they're not related, they act like they are, which makes the relatively small operation seem really nice and intimate. They are so nice, and very fast. The drinks are a little expensive, but you can see the entire assembly process and it is clear that only real fruit is used, and no sweeteners. For that quality, I'm happy to pay, and it's still less expensive than other drink spots in the area. There are no chairs, and the standing area is quite small, but I actually love that because it means I don't have to stay in there with my kids while they drink their smoothies. If I did, they would surely be constantly asking for more kinds of smoothie instead of just enjoying the one they have. For that reason, I don't mind the small space being inconvenient for dining in. In the end, delicious, fresh, smoothies at a great price, with friendly staff :)

It has a richness from the almond flour and banana yet does not make you feel heavy. The cinnamon and vanilla and a slight hint of spice to offset the sweet banana and maple. If you are hesitant to try this because of avocado in a baked good, don't be. The avocado does not add a strong flavor but rather a satisfying moist and slightly oily texture.
