Workers were dismissive, long wait time, and used old ingredients. The strawberries on the açaí bowls were not fresh at all and the base was practically liquid when served. My partner and I are usually very patient and forgiving, but just want to warn people do not come here for the açaí bowls. I remember the quality and customer service being a lot better a few years ago. read more

I love this place. Their smoothies are the best. Their GF toasted waffle is an amazing delicacy as well. Whatever you order at this place, it is gonna be beautiful, undoubtedly. read more

First time trying this place - paid $17 for a toast and a bowl - super disappointed in both . Look at the pickled onions on this toast - soooo old they were gross and about to disintegrate and not fresh. The avacado on the toast is like a prepackaged mash not fresh either. The bowl was alright but again clearly not fresh fruit on top. Didn't eat the toast it was too gross for me I hate the taste of the packaged guacamole. read more

So I would say very tasty spot. I personally would like more bang for my buck here but it is in a "nicer" part of the city. The servers I dealt with could had put a lil more enthusiasm into the atmosphere I thought as to why it wasn't the most uplifting experience. Bt clean corners. Very empty which was nice. They have really nice seating too for a one stop juice shop. I went there once and it was a nice take but not something id feel like a dope Vitality Bowls cant fulfill and some. read more

Not to lower the value of the acai bowls here (which are very much high quality), but the Almond Butter Banana waffles are CRAZY GOOD. I ordered from here initially to get a decent acai bowl, but thanks to the small cart fee I accidentally discovered the Almond Butter Banana waffle which is AMAZING to say the least. Now I've started ordering from Project Juice just to get the almond butter waffle and order the acai bowl as a SIDE item to get rid of the small cart order fee on Postmates. read more

I love Project Juice. Everytime I am in the Bay area I stop and get a juice or an acai bowl. Hands down they have the best acai bowls I have ever tried. I am sad I do not live closer, but my wallet thanks me. Acai bowls in general are a splurge, but Project Juice is worth every penny! Stores are bright and clean, employees at this location were so nice and helpful. read more

Earthbar - Almond butter bowl with paleo toppings - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Berkeley, California

Cute place, pricey for mixed smoothies. Ordered a coffee beverage and the barista didn't make enough so I saw her dilute the drink with water to make up half the volume. Not a good practice. read more

Just went to this location and it has gone downhill. The girl working there was just rude. I will not be returning anytime soon.

I love using the app to order from Earthbar. My order is guaranteed to be ready when i arrive for pick-up. I am so happy that more staff is now working there. The wait is not long anymore if I decide to walk in to order. Nice area and store is clean read more

Staff are friendly. Love their smoothie so much. Healthy and tasty. Great option for lunch when I was busy.

I have been buying 3-5 smoothies a week here for many months. The new owners are struggling during the post pandemic restart, so some items are missing, but this is where I can my wife's favorite smoothie and since I am coming from East Oakland during the morning commute to buy a $13 smoothie you know she must love it. From my perspective, I keep coming back because the staff know my habits and the drink is always waiting when I arrive. AND Aquila! She spots it when the other staff members fail to include all of the ingredients PLUS when she makes the smoothie it is actually smooth. When I get the smoothie from others it is often gritty. So the drinks are a 4 while Aquila is a 5. read more

The PB protein bowl was amazingly delicious . I will definitely be back on a regular basis

Got the dragon bowl for takeout -- it was really good and everything tasted super fresh! I only docked a star because a lot of their items have nuts and they don't allow substitutes or customization, which makes my options pretty limited as I'm allergic to them. read more

Nothing makes me feel better than a smoothie bowl, and oh how Project Juice knows how to make a darn good one. I came in for a healthy Sunday brunch and this place is great! Its pretty small on the inside but theres also a few tables outside if its a little busy indoors. The employees are also very friendly and helpful when unpacking the menu. The menu was pretty extensive, but i knew coming in that I needed a bowl but i still felt I had an adequate amount of variety with the bowls to choose from. I ended up getting the acai classic bowl with the protein topping ( i think it had Gluten free oats, berries, seasonal fruit, cacao nibs, cashews and a drizzle of honey ) and I also added a shot of spirulina. I was impressed they had this as its been difficult trying to find a place that offers that in bowls. They also have a huge variety of other things like maca, flax seeds, etc. the bowl was fantastic, the acai was nice and smooth yet still thick and not runny. It was a pretty big size also so I was also pretty full for a while afterwards! I would highly recommend this bowl. My mom ordered the paleo berries n creme waffle. It came out nice and warm, and tasted so good! we both really enjoyed her waffle - it had a good balance of sweet and savory. The food comes out pretty quickly, the only downside was that this place is kind of pricey, one waffles and a bowl cost almost $20 which is a little ridiculous. When you get past the price you realize you're paying for good quality food and itll also make you feel great! I will definitely come back here for a quick yet healthy meal. read more

Yay! Acai bowls right next to SoulCycle! It's the perfect place to eat after an intense workout. It's nice and light, nutritious, and delicious! I know this sounds so cliche after reading all of the other reviews. But, it makes sense that people who work out... they want to eat something healthy afterwards! I will say that their açaí bowls are really delicious. The fruit is fresh and their topping options are outstanding! This area is very hipster - they have a SoulCycle, Warby Parker, Saaje Wellness next door! This place is not cheap, but nothing healthy ever is. I am definitely a fan of this place and will be back next time I go to SoulCycle Berkeley. read more

I've been meaning to want to try this place and I'm so glad I did. Hubby and I tried the smoothies here coming back from a trip and it was very fresh as you can watch them making the smoothies with the fresh fruit ingredients. The smoothies are a little on the pricier side but you get what you pay for and you can surely taste the quality in their drinks. I can't wait to go back and try their acai bowls as they look delicious! read more

I've been looking for a good açaí bowl and with all the good reviews, I've decided to give Project Juice a try. I had my heart on the original acai bowl but, after looking at the menu, I decided to go for the green bowl instead since I've never had this one before. It was good but I think I should've stuck with the original instead. read more

Earthbar - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Berkeley, California

This is my favorite juice spot in Berkeley! Fresh ingredients, great portion, healthy servings. I love how everything on their menu is so good and healthy for you. I always love coming here whenever I'm in town (or after a night of drinking) and picking up one of their kale green smoothies. Try their açaí bowls too! Can't go wrong with Project Juice. 5+ stars. read more

Great way to refuel after SoulCycle! Lots of my friends go to Project Juice so I wanted to see what all the hype was about. They offer various items from açaí bowls to smoothies to avocado toast (a millennial's dream lol). I opted for the almond butter açaí bowl. The gentleman at the register suggested I get the protein over the paleo as I just completed a workout. I then added blended spinach to make sure there was something green in it. They were quite busy so it took a while but it was worth it. The açaí wasn't too sweet and the protein addition was perfect. I was happy that the spinach wasn't chopped to large and was easily blended into the bowl. It's well lit to get those photos and snaps. I was also impressed at the cleanliness of the location. The bowls, spoons, and forks were all compostable which I love. So check it out! read more

Yupp, I miss it's former business Project Juice. The workers at Earthbar make me feel super uncomfortable. I've gone in 3 times, not once did they greet me, they all just looked at me. Energy upon entering feels down, almost like they're cranky, mad, scared, or unsure themselves. The manager isn't any better. Definite downgrade from Project Juice. Customer service is SUPER vital, it affects the food experience (which wasn't very memorable). I used to travel from far, now it's not worth it. Project Juice was the BEST from the moment you walked in to your last bite. You tasted the love! All specialty/organic shops have always been special, this place isn't. Sadly. Wish I could've felt different. read more

Garbage. I couldn't tell if there was dirt in my acai bowl or if it's just that bad. The coffee was offensive. The kind of place that finds new ways to make simple food worse and more expensive. I would recommend this place to an enemy. read more

Project Juice's dragon bowl with classic toppings for the price of $10.50 in a lot of ways is absolutely worth it. Not only is the fruit insanely fresh, the ingredients are top notch. From the lightly honey drizzled granola, to the perfect Pitaya mix, I would absolutely come back and have this again. The rewards program allows you to accumulate points and get a free bowl after about 10 purchases, which is an incredible perk. Other acai bowls might be a little cheaper elsewhere, but are lacking in quality compared to this place. It's good to know I can get decently healthy options at a somewhat affordable price! read more

I'm not gonna lie. Juice bars may be trendy and not cheap...but I love them. Project Juice is no exception. I have tried their smoothie bowls, juices, and shots and they have all been delicious. The smoothie bowl was quite large and substantial compared to bowls I've had elsewhere. Even the cookies and corn chowder soup were good! Umm can we say how this is another amazing addition to Fourth Street! I've been really into smoothies and juices lately, so after going for a run I was happy to run into this place. For around $10-$12 a smoothie & $11 for acai bowls you can get yourself a tasty and guilt-free meal. DID I MENTION THEY HAVE ACAI BOWLS!? I didn't end up trying it this time around, but I'll be coming back for sure to try one. I also saw that they sell avocado/honey toast, but TBH I'd rather make it at home vs. pay $5. This trip, I ended up trying the Protein Cacao smoothie and it was yum! I have to say it's more cashew/almond butter than it is cacao/banana so it's less on the sweet side than what you'd expect. The only con I really had with the smoothie that it wasn't as thick as I was expecting. If you're looking for more to-go options, they have a refrigerator section where you can buy drinks/food to go! read more

Okay this place was bought out and rebranded as Earthbar. It used to be Project Juice or something like that. They kept the menu and instead have reduced the size and also increased the price!!! Insane. It's now like $17 for an açaí bowl. The taste and quality is great. They've just been a bit greedy IMO. Other places for better value... read more

I used to love this spot when it was project juice. I haven't tried the smoothies yet from this new incarnation but I went in the other day to get some toast. First off, the lackadaisical guy behind the counter says "I cant make you toast because we've run out of plates to serve it on". Lame! So I say, "can you give it to me on a napkin?" I mean surely you can figure something out, right? So he proceeds to make me a piece of toast that takes a good 15 minutes. Once I get it, there's none of the extra avocado I asked for so I inquire about that. There is someone else working who seems to maybe be a manager who tries to take my toast back (isn't that a no no during covid?) and when I ask him to just give me the avocado on the side, once again he is similarly thrown like the last guy as to where to put it. Finally he decides on a cup but definitely doesn't offer me a spoon or anything to get the avocado out. I guess that's my problem since I dared to ask him to put it on the side. No thank you, no apologies. I miss the lovely girls who worked at project juice. I'll probably still come back because I have a special diet and finding places that serve this kind of food isn't easy and I did enjoy the toast when I finally got it, but I just won't expect any customer service and next time I won't leave a 20% tip since it's obvious that I'm bothering the employees by being there. read more

I really love how they put their menu and the steps of ordering up in front and easy to navigate. I ordered the superfood bowl with açaí, protein and boosts on top. Earthbar - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Berkeley, California

My new favorite juice spot in Berkeley! I've enjoyed Project Juice for a long time but had always just had their bottled cold pressed juices. They're delicious and all organic, although slightly more expensive than other popular juice shops. This spot is amazing because it has so much more to offer than juice. You can get gazpacho, coffee, smoothies, kombucha, salads, acai bowls, granola parfaits, avocado toast, and more! The expansive menu has tons of snack and beverage options perfect for anyone trying to eat clean or watch their diet. SoulCycle is just around the corner, so Project Juice is the perfect place to drop in to refuel after spin. Project Juice is taking over California, and I love it! read more

A little pricey, but my post-yoga smoothie tasted incredible. I ordered the EPIC Greens with spinach, protein, almond mylk, banana, vanilla, salt, etc. It was such a fabulous combination of flavors in thick (almost spoonable) smoothie style, that I could have drank another five. They have SO much on the menu ranging from protein waffles, to various smoothie bowls, to avo toast, to hummus toast, and so much more, that I have to come back soon to try the myriad of other millennial food choices. The shop inside doesn't have much seating or space to do work (no outlets), but it's still a great place to snack, relax, and chat with friends. There are also a few outdoor seats that sit adjacent to a cute, plant filled side street. read more

Ordered a kombucha with green ginger and avocado toast on gluten free bread. Total came out to ~$10 (a little pricey but to be expected given the location and type of establishment). Service was nice, received the kombucha right away and the toast shortly after (5 minutes) so pretty quick. The kombucha tasted great and made me feel really good about myself for starting the day healthy. I was surprised with the avocado toast, the gluten free bread was actually quite good! Earthbar - First timer, and baby girl loved it. Yay! Green Bowl (Classic) with classic topping. - Juice Bars & Smoothies Near Me - Berkeley, California

This place is amazing! Wish there were more of them around....like everywhere. Please open more stores! As gluten free folks, it's pretty rare to find a place that is dedicated and also has a ton of variety and incredible stuff! My husband is also allergic to dairy and everything here is dairy free too! Wow. Now that we moved away from Oakland, anytime we're driving anywhere close to a project juice we take a detour! Our favorites are the almond butter acai or the acai superberry bowls with either the paleo or the protein topping choices. These bowls are so tasty and filling. And they go heavy on the toppings for nice added flavor and crunch! Other favorites that are amazing are the almond butter and banana waffle and the berries and cream waffle....umm these are like crack! I'm a cheese lover, and I can't tell the difference with the almond cream cheese. And the combo of the cream chese with the honey is incredible. The honey seems better than any honey I've ever had. It boggles my mind. These waffles are also surprisingly filling. Also have done the avocado toast, which is great! On a big ol thick cut of GF sourdough. Also gotten the biome bagel, the Mission Mocha smoothie and a keto coffee before which are all good. I have gotten a couple of their baked goods at the checkout counter- like banana bread or cookies, haven't been impressed with those so much. But honestly it doesn't detract from the place one bit since they have so many other great options. Friendly staff. Quick service too. If you get there when the nearby cycling or yoga class just got out it will be busy, otherwise it's never been a real issue. read more

Tasty healthy smoothies. I love coming by here for a mid morning snack or breakfast. This spot is great because there's free parking!

Earthbar is my least favorite place to get açaí bowls after my first (and last visit) to Earthbar recently. The male cashier was rude and unhelpful. The açaí bowl I received was simply gross. The acai base was practically liquid, the toppings were sparse, and the flavors tasted bland and cheap. I recommend several far superior options throughout the east bay... Palm on College, Rush Bowls, Bowl'd. I hope Project Juice opens another location soon. read more

Fantastic acai bowl. I ordered their protein style toppings and loved the added nuts/seeds that it came with. The ratio of acai base to toppings was about 1:1, so with every bite you're enjoying a solid mixture. Love that about this spot. Also ordered their special pumpkin oats - great option for those looking for less sugar, or a warm breakfast. Definitely would come back here, there's a couple tables and benches outside for seating (which was great for us since our doggo was with us). read more
