We have been traveling OR Coast and WA and it has been fantastic. I found that the people were overly nice and kind. Something that I appreciate so much when visiting somewhere new. We stopped at the public market on our last day and walked by this store. The jacket in the window piece attracted me in. I walk in the store and was greeted by this woman but that is as far as it went. She (employee or owner) was too busy on her iPad While I was browsing the store to attend to me. I was undecided between two beautiful pieces and my husband was waiting outside with our fur baby. I come back in and she asks me "can I help you?" I stated that I'm in love with two pieces. She proceeded, to play with her iPad and didn't bother to follow through with her offer. Lady, talk to me! I then asked if she has a website prepared to make my purchase online only bc we are at our limit with our luggage, I am traveling and fly out tomorrow to WY to continue our road trip and we need to becareful to not carry more than the necessary. She abruptly replied, "no, we do not." Then I thought well let me take a picture and give my business elsewhere and she said, they don't allow pics of their merchandise and then told me GOODBYE! Hahah hahahhaha I was in shock! I didn't really tell her what I wanted to tell her. What irritated me about this experience is that for the first time in a very long time someone judged me from the moment I walked in the store. Whao! When I encounter people who make me feel lesser than "equal", I don't argue. My equality it is not up for debate, it is an implicit truth! read more

We were shopping here and found many things we like. I wanted to buy one of the gorgeous blown glass "Jelly dish" which was nice but heavy. I expressed my liking them but l had concerns of it making it home unharmed and in tack as I haven't had good experiences by the airlines handing my baggage. The shop keep offered to ship it to me and avoid the baggage weight and break concerns. So I bought it along with several other things and had him ship the jelly fish glass. When we got home it was waiting on us. Great shipping, and sad protective packing. This was a great gesture by the shop keep and he had sent it during his lunch that same day. So our experience was Above and Beyond any out-of-town shopping before now. I would highly recommend this business! Thanks, Again! read more

This is a great little store! They have super cute and unique jackets, coats, scarves and jewelry. My aunt got this fabulous poppy jacket for my wife there last Christmas and this year we found some amazing things for our friends. I was visiting Seattle recently for the weekend, and found this funky little hideaway/gem in the heart of Pike Place Market. I notice others are saying that the prices are a bit high, but to my mind, you have to pay a bit more for quality and something stylish. I also may have got lucky in that a lot of clothes I bought seemed to be marked down by 30-50% I am a bit on the plus side these days, and I appreciate it when clothes fit right and aren't of the little old lady variety, and that show off my best assets and make me feel sexy and confident. Everything here did that, and has given my self-esteem a real boost. I bought several lovely and unusual pieces that I will cherish for years to come. Don't miss this little gem! For a small shop they are very selective which means every item in their store is stunning. A friend led me into this Pike Place Market shop that I'd passed countless times--I usually wear a plus size and was pleasantly surprised to find that they actually stocked something to fit me. Not a vast selection of plus sizes, but enough that I picked up a nice top and an absolutely stunning, reversible, wrinkle-and-stain-resistant, machine-washable raincoat. Not cheap, but an excellent investment for the quality. The clerk was solicitous *almost* to excess...she later admitted it was her first day. Okay, ma'am, you've got the job! read more

The most negative aspect of my experience was the remark made by the sales associate. She pointed out the sales on jewelry items and then proceeded to say that the "plus sized" items were interspersed among the racks! As someone who has dedicated lots of time and energy to dieting and exercising recently, I was highly insulted and walked out of the store. I happened to be at Pike Place the following day so I went into the store and expressed to the same sales associate that I was highly insulted by her remark on the previous day and suggested that perhaps she should be a little more tactful and wait until asked about plus sizes! Her response was "well, you are plus sized". Not that it matters to her, but I wear a size 10. I hardly think that is "plus size"! Would never recommend this boutique and will certainly tell my friends to avoid it! read more

well first lets start with the name. earth wind and fire is a bit misleading if you ask me. not exactly the name id put on a store with a falling apart fountain, twenty mismatched jewelry cases full of 3000$ plastic jewelry and jackets meant for people who don't leave their house. i was pushed into the store rudely by a witch like lady who kept insisting i try on everything. it was to the point i thought she was going to take off her own clothes and ask me to put them on. when trying on a jacket the old lady wouldn't stop touching me and whispered in me ear "let me be mom for the day". i was unsure what she was trying to do with me at this point. left the store very uncomfortable. refuse to walk in this part of pikes again. read more

This boutique offers lovely merchandise, if a bit overpriced. I do wish they would NOT hawk their goods in front of the store. There is a gentleman who stands outside the store, attempting to stop people to get them to go inside. I find this rude and intrusive. read more

I had a few hours in Seattle so I decided to go down to the Pike Street market and walk around. I discovered Earth, Wind and Fire and as I walked in I was immmediately in love with their selection of clothing, especially the variety of coats. The jewelry was also very beautiful and unique. I really liked this little shop. The people were great, super friendly and helpful, and the merchandise beautiful. It seemed like the cleanest and the most upscale shop at the whole market place. I was kind of suprised to see it actually. It stands out from the rest in both class and quality items. My husband bought me a lovely piece of jewelry that truthfully was kind of overpriced. The clothes were nice, something a classy older woman might wear. I found a beautiful jacket for my mom but I couldn't justify paying so much. If you are looking for a quality souvenir of yout trip to Seattle, this would be a good place to look!
