This was such a disappointing experience. Firstly, we were a large party - 10 people. We had a reservation and it still took the restaurant 35 mins to seat us. Our table had one server assigned. This wouldn't be that bad if she was efficient but she was new. Like less than 2 weeks at this restaurant. She struggled the entire night. To top it off, we were sat on the patio and in the back away from all other guests. Privacy would usually be great however, it was sweltering hot that evening and the staff kept forgetting to check back and refresh our water. In fact, everything was super slow coming out. Food. The kitchen was out of of key items. Again, sucks but it was how things were handled. We placed our drinks and appetizers. Then main entrees. It was nearly 30-40 mins after we were waiting for our entrees before we were told that certain items in the kitchen were no longer available. WTH?! The steaks were well vs med rare and cold. This place is impressive. It is beautiful and modern, inside and the terrace. The menus, silverware, plates, decorations were very carefully selected. The ambience and vibe are great. The service is also outstanding. The staff is very polite, prompt and friendly. Unfortunately, the food and drinks did not live up my expectations. The reality does not correlate with elaborate description on the menus. Food was average, drinks were lackluster. Nevertheless, I can recommend was the pork tomahawk because it was tasty and high quality. Another recommendation, avoid the cocktails, stick with beers or wine. We were so excited to dine at Earls, as it has been a favorite spot of ours. A group of 8 of us dined there on a Friday night. Appetizers and drinks arrived on time, and were delicious. Our dinner took about 2 hours to be served... we kept wondering how parties, same size as ours, who arrived much later than we did, were getting served before us. I understand situations arise and cause delays, however, seeing other parties who were seated after us get served, left us with an overall uncomfortable feeling. We were reassured over the course of 1.5 hours that our food was "coming out soon", so we waited it out. We visited Earl's Court with friends while we were staying at a hotel next door while our kids were taking a course at University of Miami. It's a hip place and the staff were friendly. A little loud for my taste, but I'm just getting older. First, the martini they made was disappointed- tastes diluted. The Caesar dressing was spicy somehow - too much pepper or contaminated by hot sauce. My friends" Korean Bowl was also extremely spicy , and so very temperature hot that she couldn't eat it. The kicker was at the end of dinner when I notice that Martinis is $25.50, but I remembered that on the menus it was listed for $15 !!!!! It was then explained to me by the server that the preparation of Martini (which then diluted it ) was an additional $10. Well, I did ask for olives. I don't think this place is worth going back to. This place is literally a 4.5. Our service from our waitress Brenda, was superb. We got here at opening and to our surprise, everything was up running and ready to go. It also comes with coleslaw which to me it's super dry and the Kale which is also very dry not a good mix and they add so much Kale. This place is a rip off! Arrived at 11:40 for brunch on a Sunday. They sat us at 12:02 and then proceeded to tell us the happy hour ended at 12. We said this is why we came for and they said "sorry, too late". Ordered the steak and eggs. Comes with a 4oz steak for $24.99. The waitress asked if I wanted to upgrade to a 7 or 10oz. I agreed thinking is a normal maybe $10-15 for the extra 3oz. When the bill came it was $54.99! $30 extra dollars for 3oz. We had a nice dinner on Friday Valentine's Day. We went early to take advantage of the happy hour prices and we did, somewhat. We got there a few minutes earlier, checked in with the hostess. Waited and felt ignored. The waitress sat people that came after us, a few looked like their friends. When I finally brought it up she said "oh they had reservations". Well so did we, and we got there a few minutes earlier. When I brought this up it was a half hour later! Immediately she came up with the table and sat us down. The waiter was very nice, but made a mistake and we saw it when we got our bill. I ordered the Cabernet Sauvignon on the Happy Hour menu and got it however, the price that was on the bill was higher so I asked. His response was "oh the bar gave you more ounces." Well I did not ask for that. I pointed to the happy hour menu and expected to get the happy hour price. I should not have been charged more for the bars mistake. I had two glasses and was charged the regular price. Not cool. My food was good. My husband was disappointed with the pork chop, he's used to Perry's pork chop and thought Earls was not as good. Overall it was nice, not extra special. Gave it 3 stars because the food was good, the service good and the hostess ok. read more

I didn't anticipate to write a negative review. Earls has a great atmosphere and food is is great. Being in the hospitality sector, my whole experience was thrown off by the way I was taken care of. Unfortunately, DJ, was what drove my experience off the cliff. Unenthusiastic greet, no water to start off after ordering drinks and multiple appetizers. Worst part; no check backs and lack of personality to be a great sales person. Above this all, my bill was $120.00 and I was going to give him a 30% tip after telling him I'm in the biz, it's okay if we didn't get the service we wanted but hoped he'd change for next time but he didn't care...he said okay, refused to take the tip and he walked away. Hello everyone! So I found myself cruising Dadeland Mall with my significant other on a Saturday night when a case of the hangries started coming on. Luckily we were near Earl's Kitchen and Bar and we both decided to stop in for a bit to eat. We hand been here for brunch in the past on Sunday's which was awesome but have never been here for dinner. Upon entering we were greeted and within 15 minutes we're at our table. Staff were very friendly and our server was awesome as well. Happy to report that the bar is well stocked and the Old Fashioned's were awesome as well. Knob Creek Rye anyone? Our server gave us a rundown of the menu and within 15 minutes we were digging in to our Four Cheese Spinach Dip with Tortilla Chips which was excellent. For our main courses tonight I was in a Vegan mood and orders the Impossible Burger with the fries which was excellent. We also tried the Tofu and vegetables bowl which was great as well. That said, don't worry as they have something for everyone we just decided to order from the vegan section of the menu on this occasion. From what I could tell the Seafood and Steak options looked great as the kitchen was in full force and not slowing down. Things were really hopping as their was live music this particular evening which was awesome as well. No one to go out with, no problem as the bar area was pretty busy and everyone was making the best of it from what I can see; however, I think Wednesday nights are the best nights for Happy Hour so you may want to check it out. Al in all it was a great experience and affordable to boot as well. We will definitely be back to take some other menu options for a test drive. So if you find yourselves in the vicinity of Dadeland Mall or are heading over to do some shopping, you may want to head on over and give them a try. They are on the second floor at Dadeland Mall near the main entrance right over the TESLA store. Parking will not be a problem as you can self park or valet, your call. Earls has never disappointed until last night. Let me begin by saying that our server, Kevin, was wonderful and apologetic. The manager outside was also lovely and attentive. Unfortunately our experience was beyond her control. We arrived (party of 7) and waited over 20 minutes for anyone to address our table. The manager actually served us our water. My husband had to get up to order drinks at the bar. We get it, apparently there was a crossover with servers and we happen to fall in between shifts. They sent us appetizers (much appreciated). The drinks first ordered from the bar were perfect! Every drink there after was nothing like the first. Espresso martinis were tasteless, lacked beans, added Baileys after requesting no Baileys ~ no consistency in each martini after the first. We asked for rare, rare steaks... steaks were over cooked. Fries were cold (they brought new fries, much appreciated ) and my son's shrimp was ice cold (he ordered steak & shrimp). They did redo our steaks but again, had to wait for new ones. We ordered steak frites and the steak arrived whole instead of cut into thin slices (frites are normally served cut into slices). The kitchen definitely had many issues which left us with a horrible dining experience. This was a first at Earls. Thankfully, the appetizers were good (corn & avocado dip, sushi, oysters). And Kevin's attention to our complaints was commendable. Sad to see such a once great restaurant fall short of expectations.
