The food at Earls is always consistent, and the happy hour menu is reasonably priced. The patio is definitely one of the best in the summer.

Pro Tip: Convince your picky child to order the Yuzu Calamari w all the extras to the side and it to your noodle bowl!

The people watching is 7/5. Ask for a window or railing seat. The food and service are also wonderful. I ordered the new Sesame Citrus Noodle Bowl and loved it especially paired with the sides from the Yuzu Calamari (such artful breading!). We were fighting over the Kung Pao too. And they have lemonade which has been hard to find in Canada!

Have been an Earls fan for 30 years but come to this location multiple times when we visit Kelowna. Beautiful views of Lake Okanogan and park, super helpful and friendly staff and food and drink awesome and consistent. Recommend the Smoke Show marg, truffle fries, and Chicken Hunan Kung Pao. Menu items are excellent and writing this review because regardless of what you order, quality is always the same so we can count on an excellent meal.

I've passed the Earls in downtown Kelowna severals times on various visits. I always think it looks a bit lame from the ground, a building connected to some other lame building that's going to lead me into an uncool dusky dark Earls that needs a reno. That sounds brutal but it's true.. and I WAS WRONG. Up the stairs you go and you get to a bright, airy, spacious, busy Earls that overlooks downtown Kelowna (near the piers). We are seated quickly for happy hour on Sunday afternoon. After a day of drinking wine and checking out breweries, we weren't exactly in the mood for any cocktail specials but just their classic rhino beers on special. Vegan buffalo cauliflower calls my name and my tastebuds (my mouth is re-imagining the tangy taste of buffalo sauce right now.. MMM), Hawaiian Coconut prawns shouts to the tastebuds of the others, garlic fries sound like a good staple, but chicken tacos sound like they will fill us up! The *buffalo cauliflower* were breaded and tasty with the buffalo sauce. Not too spicy, and perfectly saucy, but not too saucy. Served with celery and a dip. Perfect. *Garlic fries* are exactly what you expect them to be, but that's good with me. I am a sucker for anything garlic.. Could've probably had more garlic and I would've been in heaven! *Street chicken tacos* were a tad disappointing for me. I can't recall them being anything special, or juicy or anything. A little bland. Maybe provide a side sauce vs. only just a lime wedge? Other than filling and one of the cheaper filling items, I'd pass. The Hawaiian coconut prawns were delicious. Who can go wrong with breaded prawns/shrimp? The sauce accompanying the dish had a curry tang, which was awesome. The mango slaw had a slightly sour vinegary smell.. Is that weird? I'm not sure, but I ate it anyways and it was decent. Anyways, our experience was overall good. Great location once upstairs, I think they even have a killer patio one level higher. Waitress was friendly and attentive. Food was solid.

Oysters and wine and amazing service!!! They have a great happy hour. FYI: the margarita pizza is actually oven roasted and it's on happy hour! (Not like the Yaletown, Vancouver...microwave style margarita pizza ugh) even the oysters were amazing! Just super chill service- even after we spilled our wine and broke a glass ... they were so comforting and relaxed - we didn't feel like total idiot's

Place, food and vibe, was not what I was expecting when we chose it. I think we were a little underdressed, but were still welcomed graciously. I believe our server's name was Mac and she was wonderful. The spinach and cheese dip, again, not what I was expecting - was outstanding!! The crunch of the bread paired so well with the creamy and chunky dip. Every bite of my garlic grilled Chicken Caesar salad was perfect. Not one soggy piece of lettuce or croutons (can we talk about the outstanding croutons?!). My partner had the street chicken tacos and equally raved about them. There was no room for dessert, but the toffee sticky pudding was so tempting - next time.

Our friends highly recommended Kin & Folk for our anniversary dinner, and we're so glad they did…read more From start to finish, our experience was exceptional. We don't eat red meat, but that certainly didn't limit our choices. We started with the Chili Shrimp Dumplings, Scallop & Prawn Ceviche, and the Family Milk Bread. Every dish was outstanding. In fact, we wished we'd ordered our own portions! The milk bread was so good we immediately ordered another. Served steaming hot as a freshly baked pull-apart loaf, it was perfect for soaking up every last drop of the incredible sauces. For our entrées, my husband ordered the Ginger Scallion Crab Bowl, generously filled with crab and perfectly cooked noodles. I had the Roasted Sesame Salad with scallion chicken and crispy fried tofu. We sampled each other's dishes, but this was one of those rare occasions where my husband couldn't get enough of his own! I couldn't blame him because mine was every bit as delicious. We were too full for dessert, so we took the tiramisu home to enjoy later. The bar menu also deserves special mention. I ordered the Full Moon Party, a creative twist on a Lemon Drop topped with a light, fluffy lemon foam. It was as beautiful as it was delicious. Watching the bartender create other cocktails convinced me we'll be back to explore more of the menu. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention the service. Our server, Svetlana, treated us like royalty and genuinely cared about making our anniversary special. The entire team worked seamlessly together, always smiling and happy to help. Kin & Folk has officially become our favourite restaurant, and we'll definitely be bringing our own kin and folk there in the future. With several beverages, multiple appetizers, generous entrées, and dessert, our bill before tip was about $100 per person. For food and service of this calibre, it was excellent value and made for an unforgettable anniversary celebration. Highly recommended!

Their interpretation of ceviche was beautiful, they offer it with a Thai twist, coconut milk and basil. The drinks were great. Our server Maria was phenomenal, classy and professional. We also ordered the Asian Greens which we also highly recommend. We also tried the soy chicken, which was prepared sous vide style, and made for a very interesting and creative dish. The other main we tried was the ginger scallion crab, which was Italian inspired but with Asian ingredients, such as black bean paste, a lovely dish. The portions were huge, so consider sharing. The tiramisu was also very. We highly recommend this spot and will return when back in town.
