We've gone to Twisted Vine Winery multiple times now since my last review and just wanted to update…read moremy review. We recently came here for a wine flight and cider flight. It was at the end of the day, so they weren't very busy, but still received excellent service. Wine Flight: SOS - This is a white sangria wine. We've had this one before and it was very good, definitely sweet. Bodacious - This is a peach wine, which was new to us. It was very good, very peachy. Definitely would rank this one as one of my favorite peach wines. Summertime Pink - This was a watermelon and strawberry blend. I could taste the watermelon more, but others in my group could taste the strawberry more. Slushy of the day - summer sangria which is a blend of raspberry and peaches. Strong on the raspberry, but I still enjoyed it. Cider Flight included Pineapple, Blackberry, Peach, and Blood Orange. They always have four on tap at a time. We love their ciders and something we come for every time. We normally get growler refills, but they just started to can their ciders. They have started with peach and blackberry. I appreciate the cans since the growlers are too much to drink at times, even when they did the larger bottles as well. This allows me to have a little bit at a time. So I look forward to them doing more flavors in cans. Ciders - In order of how we liked them from most to least - but note we love all of them as they are sweet ciders: Cranberry Peach Blackberry Blueberry Blood Orange Pineapple Highly recommend Twisted Vine if you are in the area for their wines or ciders. PS - they are dog friendly. Friendly to us as well. :)

There is nothing negative I can say about Twisted. Vines. Always very pleasant…read more My favorite time to be there is Winter, summer, spring and fall. Good service, the wine best I have ever tasted and the location perfect.

We enjoyed the wines. Nice selection of whites & reds. They do offer tasting flights…read more The big room has lots of tables spaced about. There are board games available to play while you are there. Out back is a new patio area with several fire pits. For a late fall day it would be nice to sit out around a fire in the sun & enjoy some wine. They have a small menu of pizzas if you want food. Nothing spectacular but a good size for the price. Some non-alcoholic options are available, but not many.

I first stumbled upon this place about 3 years ago when I drove from Boone with my dog exploring…read morethe area. I stopped in, brought him with me (they're dog friendly!) , and tasted some wines. Delicious! I've since been back many times, bringing my cousin, friends, parents, and boyfriend. Everyone loves the wine here! I am not a sommelier so I can't explain my reasons for liking wine or not, but it seems that literally every wine is delicious. I usually go for the flights which include small pours and a souvenir tasting glass. Last time I was here a few months ago, I think my boyfriend and I ordered 3 flights so that we could taste and share all 12 red, white, and blend wines. Good choice, and relatively inexpensive. The food here is also good. I don't think they have a standard menu, but I've tried both the pepperoni pizza and a BBQ sandwich meal from here. When ordering food initially, it was just meant to "hold us over" until we got to the next place. But hot damn, the food is seriously DELICIOUS. Trust me and order from here! Lastly, this location is in an old schoolhouse. There's a lot of history here and the folks are willing to share that with you. Just talk to them! I'll have to admit that the winery itself is not as nice on the eyes as some others nearby in terms of being fancy or chic or whatever... instead, the vibe is homey, quaint, and welcoming. Bring a friend or two, make the drive, and enjoy!
