    Flight of beers
    Brigette K.

Decided to come here for beers late on Friday. The place is open until 11pm but does last call at 10:30pm. The people working the bar weren't that talkative but hey, maybe they had a long day. We tried the flight and then got two pints. They do start putting the seating up on top of the tables after last call so it's definitely a "get out of here" vibe. But the beer was decent.

Love trying new places and my wife picked this one out. Very casual place, plenty of beers on tap as well as some hard ciders. I picked a light summer lager. Wife got one of the ciders. Both were good and refreshing. They have bagged snacks but any food comes from a food truck parked outside. We got the Mexican corn off the cob and a pepperoni pizza. Don't bother with the corn. It came with tortilla chips but was so bland I wanted to take it back. Corn on corn chips didn't hit the spot. It got a little better towards the bottom of the cup but the space was too thin and it really lacked flavor. Save your money and pass on it. The pizza was wood fired and was good but certainly not worth $14. My advice is to eat before you come here. There is plenty of seating and beers to sample but don't count on the food from the food truck. We finished our drinks, food and left without ordering a second round. My wife described it as a soccer mom hangout. I have to agree. It wasn't bad, just not our cup of tea.

Celebrating Boone's craft beer culture, AMB is nestled in its very own park with a large outdoor garden area, vast open-air seating, and an inviting covered pavilion. The communal Oktoberfest-style picnic tables that collectively can accommodate up to 250 guests, foster an environment of community and conviviality. AMB offers a thoughtful draft and bottled beer selection and additionally ciders and wines. If you get hungry there's a food truck on site that also serves up your favorite casual fare with wood fired pizzas and a fun variety of snacks and sides. We absolutely loved the vibe and atmosphere and the beers were great too!

Look, I am not a big beer drinker, but my boyfriend loves a good brew - we both had the best beer-drinking experience ever here! I had the Honeydew Honeysuckle - let me tell you, it tastes like a southern summer, and that's coming from a Mississippi girl who grew up licking honeysuckle juice as a special treat. The owner took the time to visit with us and was very authentic and humble. The vibes are impeccable, and we of course had to grab some merch bc it was chef's kiss. Looking forward to stopping by again next trip!

Definitely a great little pub with a lot of unique characteristics that make it a great spot to stop at in the mountains. Definitely a known brewery around these areas that has some pretty decent options in their own right that you will find outside of coming here, but the variety here definitely tops that with a nice atmosphere. I can see why it's a very popular spot here in the middle of the college town. Honestly between the service being good and the variety of a simple combination of indoor outdoor spaces, it's about all you can ask for. Don't get me wrong there's some breweries that have unique things to offer besides this in the mountains at times, but what they have done here is perfect to make everything flow well.

The pizza is amazing the beer is sooo good!

I absolutely love this place! The beer is fabulous! Good selection to choose from. Love the vibe! The live music is always good and the pizza is delicious!! Definitely a go to when in Boone!

You can blame my dog for a lack of pictures (but hey now you know it's dog friendly ;) . This awesome little brewery is nestled behind some buildings in Bonne making it a spot you are less likely to just stumble across on but it's worth the stop! They ambiance is fun, inviting, and partially trendy. This day I went by they had a small market going on out side with local handmade vendors. They also have a food truck frequently that's there and I didn't try it this time but it's on my list for next time. As for the beers: they're cold, delicious, and keep begging you to come back for more. They have some seasonal picks that are absolutely worth trying if you are a more adventurous craft beer drinker. The staff was great and accommodating and is happy to offer samples if you'd like to try something before committing to a full serving. The seating is great both inside and outside, but be warned this place can get busy so get here early especially if there are events happening.

Great spot! We happened to stop while spending a weekend in Boone, and they had a K9 Keg Pull event. Lots of cute doggies were in attendance with their owners. Even with all the folks there for the event, we had no issues getting our draft selections quickly. They also had a food truck on site serving up wood fired pizza. The best thing I had was the hot spiced spiked cider - it was the perfect combination of harvest spices, apple flavor, and not too sweet. Flights are available - grab a card near the door and list your selections. We tried lots of things we would usually be too timid to try this way, loved it! The Honeydew Honeysuckle Wheat Ale was the most unique - notes of honeydew with this underlying floral aroma/taste, it was a special kind of yummy. What's the Yams is a farmhouse ale with a 9.1% ABV, and it was very flavorful but def could tell it was 9%! The faves of most of the locals seemed to be Space Cloud Pleaser Hazy IPA, Hop Rain Drop IPA, and the Long Leaf IPA. We had to try all of those too. Bathrooms were both unisex but in great shape, surprisingly. Seating - mixture of indoor seating in the taproom, lots of seating on the enclosed porch with heat, as well as picnic tables outside near the K9 race. They also had live music inside at the tap room.

Our server, Alex was very friendly and offered some beer recommendations based on our preference. They had a good variety to pick from and even some canned to go. Their food menu also offered a good selection. My wife and I decided to share an order of loaded fries to start, and then the "white buffalo" pizza. We also ordered the Brazilian steak, which was cooked perfectly and came with great plantains. The quinoa with tofu was good, too, though it was a little dry and would have been perfect with a sauce. The service really stood out. Our waitress was incredibly attentive and refilled my water at least four times without me asking. Great ambiance and an all-around good experience. Staff was friendly, food was good, only complaint is it was very dark inside, and surprisingly loud in the restaurant, I can't imagine being there with live music, I assume it would be impossible to have a conversation.

It came with quinoa and spring mix as the base, topped with edamame, cucumbers, guacamole, cabbage, crispy wontons, and fresh ahi tuna. It was flavorful and beautifully presented, though I honestly couldn't find much quinoa--it felt more like a salad than a grain bowl. We asked for some suggestions, but he was a little less than enthused to offer advise. They had a good variety of beers, so my wife and I each got one, and shared them. We got the Pina Colada Kolsch and the Cloud Rise Hazy Ipa. Both were tasty, the Pina Colada Kolsch had a much stronger pineapple flavor than I expected, but in a good way. For food we started with the white cheddar poblano, which I expected to be more of a liquid queso for some reason. It was instead for of a soft, spread, which was really good, and paired well with the chips. And then we split the Turkey Reuben, which I figured would be made with deli meat, instead, it was warm, cooked chunks of turkey, really great flavor, and hit the spot for us. The sides with the sandwiches were a bit lacking, only offering hot chips, and green beans....I've never gotten the whole hot chip craze, but green beans just seamed like too odd of a side option for a sandwich It was a good visit, and a good meal, to get us back on our feet. Overall, a nice space, with bar seating, a back room, a back and front patio, plenty of space to hang out, relax and enjoy their beer. But I wiggled my vehicle into a tight spot and went in for a burger and a beer. I believe there were about 10 to 12 options available on tap, and I went with what was listed as an Irish stout from somewhere in the Northeast. It wasn't bad, though it seemed more like an imperial stout. My sandwich choice was the Cowboy, with ground elk at its core. It was a good choice too, and the accompanying fried onions and melted cheese complemented the meat well. I ordered the burger medium, but I think I'd go for medium rare if I could go back in time. The medium option wasn't bad, but I think a little less heat and a little more moisture would only make things better. I kept things simple with the side item, going for the fries which were of the thinly sliced McDonald's variety, not bad but nothing remarkable. The server covering my table was pleasant and prompt, though soft spoken so I occasionally had to ask her to repeat herself amidst the music and noise. I wouldn't call any of these selections a bargain, but the prices didn't veer too far from what you'll find in many burger joints.
