    Enjoying charcuterie and sangria.

My wife and I enjoyed this little gem in Blowing Rock while on vacation. It is walking distance from the middle of downtown. It has a large variety of wines, but on this warm day we both had the Red Sangria. It was delightful! We selected a package of cheese, crackers and meat. The employee there was so friendly, pleasant and helpful. Because the weather was so nice, we sat outside on the front porch. We were not asked for any form of payment. She brought us our sangria, went inside and prepared our charcuterie board, and brought it to us. She checked on us a few times and then took our payment when we were done. We enjoyed our board (which we made lunch from) and people-watched while relaxing in the shade. It was a perfect afternoon.

Wonderful little wine shop and tasting room! The woman we had serve us was amazing and had great recommendations. We so enjoyed talking to her about Napa Valley wineries. They had a great selection and are very reasonably priced. The shop looks like a historic cottage and you can either sit inside or outside on the porch. We throughly enjoyed relaxing here and can't wait to be back next time we are in town!

Love this place. We often just buy a bottle and enjoy it on the porch. Clean, good seating inside and on porch. Bathroom for customers. Assorted light snacks, cheeses and such. They service the porch and will check on you for refills.

I visited this cute spot in a weekend trip to Boone and wow, this pal e did not disappoint. It's like a coffee shop but for wine. They have a cute seating area and many different types of wine to choose. They offer wine flights: red flight, white flight, or a mix that come with 5 "taste" each for $10. We both chose the mixed and might i say i was def feeling the wine once I finished. The service was great and the ladies were very knowledgeable about the wines as well as their origins. I will say the wines offered in the flights are not sweet so if you're a sweet wine or moscato drinker this is not the flight for you. If you visit take your time to see what they have to offer before you select a glass. I would definitely return!

After 10+ minutes I went back to the host to see where our server was. We had drinks and ordered salads and our entrees. 35 minutes after arriving. The salads came out and were good. After 45 minutes, we still had not received our entrees. The bartender said they were coming, the server said they were coming. We finally asked for our bill. The server said no charge and we left without seeing our entrees. When pressed the server said they were short handed and it really wasn't that long. Bottom line is there are too many good restaurants in BR to deal with this kind of service at these prices. Never again.

Note, however, that if you're looking for private secluded spaces, this may not be the spot. We were able to be seated immediately upon arrival, and our server was promptly by the table to go over the menu with us. We each ordered a cocktail and the skillet chocolate chip cookie. The skillet chocolate chip cookie arrived a bit before both of our drinks, which was a bit odd considering we had waited probably 15 minutes without drinks. As far as the cocktails, we ordered the Cynar Old Fashioned and the Buffalo Heard. The old fashioned was good, though I didn't notice the flavor of the Cynar at all. It was very dry, which I like, but may not be for you if you like a sweeter old fashioned. The Buffalo Heard was light and refreshing, with a nice bit of the bourbon shining through. Overall, the cocktails were quite good. It's a unique spot, and has a lot of potential. It appears they are still ironing out a few kitchen/bar/service kinks, but I think these are all small things. Look forward to visiting again soon.
