Grant and the team at Williams Ski and Sport were super responsive and helpful in fixing those problems. He's a great troubleshooter and service tech himself. When some of the problems required service by the manufacturer, he coordinated shipment of the parts back to the company and stayed on them until the repairs had been made. He even got them to replace some parts that had not yet failed, but looked likely to do so soon, saving me visits to his shop and more shipments to HQ. Saved me money, too -- those replacements cost me nothing! We've got a lake place near the shop. His focus on customer satisfaction keeps me coming back -- I know I can trust him and his team. Just last week I was in the shop looking for trainer skis for a very young relative who badly wanted to be like the big kids. One of the sales folks showed me the Connelly Firecracker, a design I'd never heard about before. The next day we had a deliriously happy five-year-old in our midst, and I'm set up for the next generation of ambitious lake visitors. Love the shop and staff. Really can't say enough good stuff.

The staff was VERY friendly, helpful, and informative from start to finish. The check-in process was so easy, and they did a great job making sure we didn't spend our vacation waiting around. The pontoon boat was clean, comfortable, and the tube worked perfectly for the kids. Everyone had such a great time on the water! This was our second time renting a boat from State Park Marina, and both experiences have been amazing. We truly have no complaints. Our guides were so personable, accommodating,& not overbearing in that "Your a tourist so we have to do the small talk" thing. It was actually cool, like going out to the lake with friends. I originally picked Sup for the Cliff Diving feature, which to me is exactly what is needed during a vacation. My partner wasn't a fan of that idea so we found a more "relaxing" vibe, settling on the Sunset Paddle. Best thing for me is while we did our Sunset paddle our guide suggested doing a cliff jump& I was so excited! It was exactly what I wanted and I valued the suggestion since my partner wasn't interested in it. I was the only person at first who wanted to jump, the guide said he'd jump too. Little by little the whole group, INCLUDING my partner decided to join! It wasn't one of those "Peer Pressure" things. Just good ol' inviting nature coupled with words of encouragement. It was a huge highlight for me. So many options: Cliff Jumping, Sunset paddling, Eco Tours, lounging chairs to relax at the lake in. They pretty much have it all& the cherry on top: PRICE! No price gouging. If you have your own gear it's even cheaper. They sit at $20/Person for the tour when you have your own gear. Small wins in this economy. Yes we could've just went out with our own gear and got to mosey around, but it was so nice to be guided where the sun sets perfectly. We recently rented a pontoon boat from this marina and were given a boat that was soooo old and…read morefilthy, not to mention it wouldn't go over 19-20 miles per hour. The boats they show on the website are not the boats that you may get!! Beware of the bait and switch that they have going on here...at least with us. They advertise the pontoon boats are HP and will go over 40 miles per hour. Not in our case. The boat had a lot of broken parts and seats with holes & tears in them. It had a sticker that said 225 HP but the motor on the boat was a 150 and must have been ancient as well. We would of returned it once we saw how lame it was but we had family from two different states that came in for the Labor Day weekend to spend one day together on the lake and there were no other boats available that day so we just stuck it out. When we returned it and told the lady about the bad experience she just said we took that boat out yesterday and it was going 40-45 miles an hour! She also said you should of brought it back right away....but like I told her we wouldn't have gotten to be on the lake at all with family if I would of done that. She didn't offer a refund or partial refund or hardly an apology. They give you lots of lectures about bringing the boat back clean and in good shape but when they give you a boat that hasn't even been wiped down.... you feel pretty cheated. There were food stains and some kind of liquid splattered all around the boat and dirt that had been there for months and months. very badly stained carpet that was old as well. It had two playground areas that I could see. One was just swings and the other was a playground (slides, etc.). There were plenty of picnic tables and BBQ's. There is a designated "beach" area that is sandy. This time of year - July - the water was pretty warm and clear. We did not swim in the water - next time we will. We went on a Saturday in the morning time and it was not very crowded, but it seemed to start to fill up faster as it approached noon. Fun area to come with family and friends and enjoy some food and the lake on a hot summer day!

We ended up having to switch boats with him. He was transferring his stuff to the boat and hit someone in the face with his flip by accident which is okay, but didn't apologize. The scariest part was the rope came off the tube when we pulled it, it was simply not tied on properly. I've been on the lake a number of times both on rented and owned boats. This was the only bad experience so far.
