Make sure to check your email before heading over every time as they have infrequent closures due to all the infrastructure it takes to run a pool full of kids at this temperature for this long, but honestly I can't judge them for it all things considered. We've only really done water babies and aqua tots, but the older swim classes look very serious and the kids have all seemed like great swimmers!

Based on the 30 minutes we observed, the instructor seemed to focus on small activities, making the small class feel more like play than structured learning. That said, we only attended once, so our impression is limited. There is also frequently family coming to watch their little loved ones swim. The staff is friendly and the coaches are great with children of all ages. They have many people who have been there for years as well as some new coaches who I've seen training on multiple occasions. The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's hot in there. I completely understand why the pool area would need to be warm and as someone who has been in the water with her baby, I appreciate it, but for the people who are watching someone swim, it gets REALLY uncomfortably warm sometimes... and im usually cold. I appreciate the fact that you can easily cancel a lesson if you need to and you have a year to make it up. There is also an app that shows your child's progress and it makes it easy to find dates for make up lessons.

The good news is that I know pretty much every one of our department leaders. So even though I didn't get to work with my husband or sister, I did end up with three other family members, our pastor, his mom, my bestie, and another friend. We all worked really well together and we made it out with not much time to spare. We had a few setbacks because one of the puzzles got messed up causing us to have to use a hint and also setting us back a little bit. Doesn't matter, we made it! We did the neon/black light room. It was fun... dark, of course, but very fun! There were two rooms involved so when you finished one, you had to do the other in order to escape. My husband's group did the stranger things themed room and I don't know anything about it because we can't share secrets of course (in case we go back and switch rooms) but I do know there were three rooms involved in theirs, and there was a demigorgon in one room. He said it was fun. We had a pretty large group so having 7 people in one group and 8 in the other might seem like too much, but it wasn't bad. I will say that the room we did could've been done with less people, but there weren't too many of us so it was fine. (I was in the group of 7.) Our guide was very friendly and helpful. He was knowledgeable and explained everything we needed to know ahead of time. I never knew this place was here. It's literally right across the Hwy from our church. I'm glad I know about it now because I would definitely come back here again, and I'm hoping we do something else like this in the future. I love escape rooms.

The restaurant is currently run by a private contractor, who I think is more interested in the golf than the food (yuk) but when it was run by Jeremy, the city employee it was amazing!
