To me, It is blatant their malice behind putting such establishment on blast. With that out of the way: I have enrolled my daughters two summers in roll (now age 7&4) the folks here are real down to earth. My 4 year old love Mrs.Berry. The entire adolescent staff seems carting towards their students. I find the clases to be affordable and the break down of them convenient. I truly love the curriculum routine they have laid our for the the students.

Make sure to check your email before heading over every time as they have infrequent closures due to all the infrastructure it takes to run a pool full of kids at this temperature for this long, but honestly I can't judge them for it all things considered. We've only really done water babies and aqua tots, but the older swim classes look very serious and the kids have all seemed like great swimmers!

All the vendors we used were recommended to us, each being wonderful and we had no issues with delivery or set up. Ashley is the Event Director and is such a delight to work with. She is so sweet and professional and extremely knowledgable when it comes to planning any event at Bay Oaks. I never had a question go unanswered and always heard back from her in a timely manner. She provided us with plenty of information and ideas to make our day special. We were pleasantly surprised when she showed up at the wedding the day of to make sure we were taken care of and ensure that everything ran smoothly. We have Parks and recreation that anyone would be ashamed that they didn't take advantage of..... a Community Theatre that I should really look in to. We have a great dog park and regular events for the kids and family. Oh, and a beautiful golf course. One of the most beautiful public golf courses in the nation. The restaurant is currently run by a private contractor, who I think is more interested in the golf than the food (yuk) but when it was run by Jeremy, the city employee it was amazing! I hosted a wedding there, it was gorgeous! And a reception. Both events were beautiful and the food was incredible. The service was wonderful. The city should really get rid of this new contractor and beg Jeremy back. It's an amazing Spanish style building with this huge cannon in front of this long staircase. Would be perfect for all types of parties. The Deer Park High School softball team has won the State Championship in 2012 and 2014 and were finalist in 2013.. (Wikipidedia is cool! I knew we were having those parades for a reason!) Speaking of Parades, give us a reason! We like to throw candy. If our children hear a Firetruck go bye they put their little hands up ready to catch a piece! We do love a good parade! Deer Park boasts such notable sons and daughters as Andy Pettitte, retired professional baseball pitcher for the New York Yankees and The Houston Astros (his house is way cool). Chelsi Smith, Miss Universe 1995 (She came in to the Dr's office I worked at during her reign (No! I can't tell u why?!). Charles Holcolmb, Tx Judge of the Court of Criminal Appeals, 2001-2010. Also a city attorney for the city of Deer Park. (Wiki,I didn't know about him... I swear!!) Ron White, comedian attended Deer Park High School. (Don't know if he was born here but I do remember him referring to the oil refineries in his act once) So, in summation Deer Park is a cool place right next to a bunch of job creating, economy boosting,Oil refineries. While there are nice picnic tables, there are no designated secure areas to leave your belongings while in the water, so it's best to keep all valuables in your vehicle. Here were the problems: 1. $10 for an hour of play is pretty steep. It should be $10 for 1 1/2 or 2 hours. But then they made the kids stop playing and put their shoes on when there was still 5 minutes left to play. This was especially frustrating because the price is already pretty high. 2. They divided the kids up into a baby room and a kid room, and the rooms are completely separate. This made it unnecessarily difficult for those of us with a kid in each age group and limited my ability to interact with my kids in this space. When I asked if I my 3 year old could stay in the kid room if I was there I was no a very stern NO. 3. They kept telling the little kids they could only jump on the trampolines going one direction. Which would make sense if there were other kids waiting to use the equipment or it was a structured play time. But that wasn't the case, and the unhelpful and bossy employees were annoying. 4. My younger child kept falling on the trampoline and when I got on the trampoline to help him and show him how to bounce I was told I wasn't allowed on any of the equipment. So I wasn't allowed to help my child have a safe and enjoyable experience. It was frustrating. 5. My older child came to me at the end frustrated that the employees wouldn't help the kids use the equipment in the larger kid area and that the employees were really bossy. I wasn't in the big section, so I didn't see this first hand, but it was consistent with what I saw in the little kid section. We won't be going back.
