Here were the problems: 1. $10 for an hour of play is pretty steep. It should be $10 for 1 1/2 or 2 hours. But then they made the kids stop playing and put their shoes on when there was still 5 minutes left to play. This was especially frustrating because the price is already pretty high. 2. They divided the kids up into a baby room and a kid room, and the rooms are completely separate. This made it unnecessarily difficult for those of us with a kid in each age group and limited my ability to interact with my kids in this space. When I asked if I my 3 year old could stay in the kid room if I was there I was no a very stern NO. 3. They kept telling the little kids they could only jump on the trampolines going one direction. Which would make sense if there were other kids waiting to use the equipment or it was a structured play time. But that wasn't the case, and the unhelpful and bossy employees were annoying. 4. My younger child kept falling on the trampoline and when I got on the trampoline to help him and show him how to bounce I was told I wasn't allowed on any of the equipment. So I wasn't allowed to help my child have a safe and enjoyable experience. It was frustrating. 5. My older child came to me at the end frustrated that the employees wouldn't help the kids use the equipment in the larger kid area and that the employees were really bossy. I wasn't in the big section, so I didn't see this first hand, but it was consistent with what I saw in the little kid section. We won't be going back.

Also, they do birthday parties, but they don't have enough slots for demand. Make sure to check your email before heading over every time as they have infrequent closures due to all the infrastructure it takes to run a pool full of kids at this temperature for this long, but honestly I can't judge them for it all things considered. We've only really done water babies and aqua tots, but the older swim classes look very serious and the kids have all seemed like great swimmers!

That said, we only attended once, so our impression is limited. Plus it was a good way to burn some energy.

The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's hot in there. I completely understand why the pool area would need to be warm and as someone who has been in the water with her baby, I appreciate it, but for the people who are watching someone swim, it gets REALLY uncomfortably warm sometimes... and im usually cold. I appreciate the fact that you can easily cancel a lesson if you need to and you have a year to make it up. There is also an app that shows your child's progress and it makes it easy to find dates for make up lessons.

My 2 year old was afraid the first day but Nicole helped her and made her comfortable. Now she asks to go swimming every day. Now back in 2025 and I can see some improvements. They have a lot of different machines and free weights, spaces to do Gtx classes, hot yoga, cycling, morning runs, pickle ball... I mean, you pay for what you get. I love that the women have their own sauna and hot tub, and can use the coed by the pool as well. It's never so crowded that you can't get machines and the staff is actually helpful. I definitely recommend.

As we were on our way to Galveston for our week long cruise, we booked a stay in Webster to do touristy things and this lifetime was a whopping 4 min drive from our hotel. I'm impressed with the cafe, locker rooms and kids club! As usual, the amenities are consistent with our home LT in Austin, the front desk always was welcoming at 6am for me running in, getting my workout in and then leaving. I find the studio classrooms are slightly smaller but the instructor Melanie was still great at 7:30am on a Friday, I was a little jealous that this LT has amazing classes that start at 5:30am for the folks who love their early bird hours in the day and impressed to see it was waitlisted! I dropped our 5 year old for a little of the kids club and even decided if we wanted to do Parents Night out at this LT, as this one doesn't seem to have a waitlist, our Austin North location separated by age groups for the younger kids vs older kids but this LT seemed to have less enrollment which probably means all the kids get to play together. The pools were huge and I'm sure if we weren't visiting during the winter freeze, the outdoor slides and pools would be more popular! I thought it was neat to see the individual hot tubs inside the locker rooms and steam room and saunas, although my husband and I occasionally like to have our sauna time together. Overall, the floors and machines were well kept, my cafe experience for coffee, smoothies and food consistent and the fact that we could have a space to explore while we were in town was fun to boot! Normally we visit the LT sugar land location as my parents are in SW Houston so this was a treat to try something new! Thank you LT Baybrook for keeping us healthy and entertaining us on our few days in the area! :) Looking forward to returning if and when we're in the Clear Lake NASA bubble!
