The only reason I've given 4 stars instead of 5 is because it's hot in there. I completely understand why the pool area would need to be warm and as someone who has been in the water with her baby, I appreciate it, but for the people who are watching someone swim, it gets REALLY uncomfortably warm sometimes... and im usually cold. I appreciate the fact that you can easily cancel a lesson if you need to and you have a year to make it up. There is also an app that shows your child's progress and it makes it easy to find dates for make up lessons.

My 2 year old was afraid the first day but Nicole helped her and made her comfortable. Now she asks to go swimming every day. She a learned a lot more in the same amount of time with Nicole and her private lessons. She has now joined the local swim team!

She is learning several different techniques within that 30 mins with no pressure applied . Instructor Lucas is her favorite so far . Check in is very easy as well. Best to go in the Webster location, if you have any questions ,because some things weren't offered online for some reason. A shirt and bag are given to carry your kiddos items in . Here were the problems: 1. $10 for an hour of play is pretty steep. It should be $10 for 1 1/2 or 2 hours. But then they made the kids stop playing and put their shoes on when there was still 5 minutes left to play. This was especially frustrating because the price is already pretty high. 2. They divided the kids up into a baby room and a kid room, and the rooms are completely separate. This made it unnecessarily difficult for those of us with a kid in each age group and limited my ability to interact with my kids in this space. When I asked if I my 3 year old could stay in the kid room if I was there I was no a very stern NO. 3. They kept telling the little kids they could only jump on the trampolines going one direction. Which would make sense if there were other kids waiting to use the equipment or it was a structured play time. But that wasn't the case, and the unhelpful and bossy employees were annoying. 4. My younger child kept falling on the trampoline and when I got on the trampoline to help him and show him how to bounce I was told I wasn't allowed on any of the equipment. So I wasn't allowed to help my child have a safe and enjoyable experience. It was frustrating. 5. My older child came to me at the end frustrated that the employees wouldn't help the kids use the equipment in the larger kid area and that the employees were really bossy. I wasn't in the big section, so I didn't see this first hand, but it was consistent with what I saw in the little kid section. We won't be going back.

I've never actually done any training at Kinex other than the Tues/Thurs Evening and Saturday morning bootcamp classes, so this review won't cover any of that. However, the facility is new and clean, and has plenty of equipment. The trainers that I've met all seem friendly and competent, and it looks like they're doing a thorough job with clients during the times that I've been at Kinex for boot camp. I started going to their boot camp classes soon after Kinex opened. Sam and Jordan have done a pretty great job with the classes the entire time, and it doesn't matter if only two people show up or 15 show up - all the classes have been great. They have a good mix of workouts, and it doesn't feel like there are a lot of repeats, even week to week. They focus heavily on core workouts, and my abs/obliques always feel great after a class. Sam and Jordan do a good keep the classes fun and talk and joke with the participants. They usually have some kind of music playing to help distract you from the hard work you're doing. If you're looking for a boot camp class, I can definitely recommend the ones at Kinex.
