This place is awesome!!! Their gift store is filled with cute things and the staff is so helpful with recommending trails. While there I saw a bison, snakes, skunks, turtles, and so much more. They have a butterfly garden and a bird viewing center...that I was tempted to sit at and listen for too long. There are lakes where I saw a couple of different baby alligators and a camouflaged frog! The visitor center is filled with info and some spots to take pics. I learned a lot and am so glad I stopped by. I'll be back on the weekend when I can sign up for a pontoon ride!

They offer other activities as well, so he is taking Taekwondo and a science/stem class this semester (took tennis previously as well). He does his homework there as well. My grandson was injured at Kids R Kids Space Center and had to get his scalp glued back together at an urgent care. The staff didn't seem concerned. Another example of the teachers showing poor classroom management would be that somehow, they did not see my grandson eating paint. The director and owners appear to be very unprofessional and unresponsive to our concerns. The lack of communication is appalling. Stay away from this place if you value your child's safety.

We just finished a great week of day camp at Victory Camp…read more This place is a bit of a drive from the more populated suburbs, but the kids have lots of space to run around, play sports, swim, ride the train, etc. Our day-camp tuition included all activities, lunch and snacks. We found the program to be enriching and enjoyable for kids. My 6-yr old (kind of small sized) wasn't able to do all activities for his age-group (ie, the zip-line and water slide) but he still had a blast and made nice new friends. Our counselor, Tiffany, was really friendly and attentive. I was told the program is getting more popular each year. I am glad someone recommended it to me.

We came here at the start of the Covid pandemic when public schools were not able to provide our family with the reassurance we needed, that they would do everything r they could to keep kids in the classroom. St. Thomas made good on that promise. Now ending the pandemic (or at least I hope so) I am so very grateful to this school for providing a safe place for my daughter to learn. My daughter is thriving in her classes and coming home to tell me about all the amazing things she got to do and learn while at school. The teachers are so helpful and go above and beyond to educate. During science fair, I had a newborn at home, and Mrs. Vetter took my daughter aside to help her create her science project board, even helping on an administrative day, when the kids were out of school. The last few years have been very difficult on all schools and I feel like St Thomas, as small as they are, have provided us with a safe, happy and educational experience. In the 2 years we have been here, my daughter has excelled in her classes and we can see a huge difference in her reading, math and science. Her love of school is so obvious, she comes home excited to tell us what she has learned. She learns Spanish EVERYDAY! Spanish is included in the daily curriculum, which I find so awesome. They spend tons of time outside, my daughter comes home dirty most days, lol, she is playing, having fun and is happy here. I am so grateful for St Thomas. Schools have had it hard these last couple of years, it has not been easy to hire, get classes covered and stay open.St thomas stated open, masked up, taught outside, used cleaning procedures and fancy air filters, all to keep kids in school. Now, we are happy that these precautions have lessened, and will continue to lessen as the community spread lessens Also, a reviewer said that the school hired a sub without a background check. It is my understanding, because I asked the board, that the sub was background checked and had references through CCISD. St thomas runs their own, but during this time they used a substitute teacher through CCISD, which isn't their normal practice to be fair, but because their own subs were also out sick or at home with someone sick, or were already teaching elsewhere, they used a sub that was in good standing through CCISD. It is my understanding that the public school is asking parents and college students with a small amount of hourly credits to teach bc of the difficulty with hiring during a global pandemic. As a parent, I am okay with how that was handled, given the current climate. St thomas has been bc a wonderful learning environment for my child, we love the small classrooms, amazing teachers and friendly environment

Being a first time mom with a newborn, i carefully researched every childcare place in the area. The infant room has everything you can imagine to know your little one is safe. Owlet monitors for nap time was a huge plus! Not to mention the cameras you can view on their phone (because who doesnt want to watch their little on a screen all day lol). If you are looking for a childcare facility, i assure you this is the place!

We registered my daughter 8 months in advance of her enrollment date and I spoke with the staff several times throughout that period to discuss paperwork, confirming each time that we were still on for our scheduled enrollment date. Then out of no where they call us to say that they overbooked and we were being dropped. They couldn't guarantee us any enrollment date but just offered to let us wait another 12 months. I feel like this is an absolutely unacceptable business practice. We were essentially wait listed but led to believe we had a guaranteed spot. So we had no Plan B and were forced to look for another daycare last minute and had to accept the first one that had availability with such short notice.
