I had concerns about possible termites and called several pest control companies--most didn't even bother to call back. Thankfully, a neighbor recommended Eagle Pest Services and they were a breath of fresh air! They came out the same day, and at no cost for the initial inspection. The technician was not only punctual but also extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. Thankfully, no termites just your average wood rot and beetles causing damage. Their customer service was miles ahead of the other companies I contacted. From the first call to the on-site visit, they were professional, responsive, and respectful of my time. If I ever need treatment in the future, I know where to go! Not a great company. I have worked with them on several occasions over the last 8 years and have found that they are just not the same quality company my parents referred me to several years ago. I don't know if management changed over the last 5 years but I believe it is the same family who owns and runs the business but the service has gotten terrible. I have two properties that used to be serviced by their commercial division and outside of the office staff being friendly and billing manager being super helpful the rest of the experience both sites stunk. The technicians ( multiple sent because they can't keep employees apparently) all were lazy, lacked professionalism and pride in the work they did. The service manager that I spoke with was not very knowledgeable and seemed like he did not really know much about pest control. For my home services the gentleman i spoke with initially was very knowledgeable and so passionate about his job and helpful. The original technicians who serviced my home were great and then again like with the commercial side something changed. Suddenly I had different technicians all the time, no longer was able to speak with the original manager for the home service and was referred to the same guy running the commercial services which is a joke. Had repeated issues over and over and again the only helpful people I spoke with was the service scheduling assistant for home services and her manager. Sad to see a small family run business get run into the ground. I would rather use a big box store at this point than deal with their unpredictability and piss poor employees. read more

As previously mentioned by another reviewer, you're in for a pest nightmare if you're in any kind of rent-controlled housing that is required to use Eagle's services for pest treatment. Their product and service is laughable compared to some of the bigger industry players like Orkin or Terminix. For one, their gel product is transmitted via a large syringe which is akin to trying to wash a car with a toothbrush. We had an ant problem in our kitchen and weren't able to determine how they were getting in or where they were coming from. Thanks to Amazon, we laid terro traps down but that only seemed to encourage them to traipse across our countertops in mockery. Sure, we awoke every morning to several dozen ant corpses on the floor but get rid of them we did not. When the first Eagle rep came to treat the house, he applauded our ant bait strategy and filled OUR bait stations with his mystery syringe gel. Weird, but since we aren't exterminators we figured the guy knew what he was doing. Again, a couple more ant deaths but just as many living ones to promote fear and make you wince every time you thought you felt something on your skin. After about a week of no change, a second Eagle rep came to treat the kitchen, this time syringing new areas and foaming the kitchen window. With confidence, he assured us that the ants should go away in a couple of days. After another week of no change, a third Eagle rep came out this time not only treating the same areas but somehow accidentally getting their product on my partner. It's unfortunate that we are unable to personally pay for a real professional to come and treat the area (most companies will not service where existing contracts are in place for apartments) and have shifted our focus to adoption of an anteater or other ant-consuming mammal. If you have any choice in your pest control matters, i highly do NOT recommend this company for the lack of experience their staff have as well as the poor/ineffective product they use. read more

If you live in low income apartments and this is the company your property management has selected then you will never get rid of your pest problems because this pest control company makes money by charging the least amount to the management company and not providing proper service for the tenets. It's what is wrong with the world today the people and business that are willing too provide a poor service on purpose too make a profit are successful and growing. Taking advantage of low income families that have limited choices when it comes to finding a place too live so they just end up living with roaches,bedbugs and mice while the property management is happy too have the best price and pest control company is happy too give the documents stating the issue is addressed without fixing the problem as long as they profit and the low income tenets eventually get tired of complaining too def ears and end up living with pest that put their family in danger all so the property management and pest management can get rich. I know this to be true because i worked in management and I'm the son of the owner I left this business do too lack of integrity and the companies refusal to change. I've seen families that spent their money and time prepping for a bedbug treatment and management tells their technicians they only get 45 minutes to complete the job that takes 2 to 3 hours at other reputable companies. This company falsely claims too be a family business yet only one of the owners sons works for the company two of the owners sons actually work for different pest management companies and make more money then this family business has ever offered the very people that worked for 5.75 an hour to build this company. One of the most honest companies I have worked with! We are renters in the DC area and had a mouse problem in our home. I called several companies to come out and give me a quote to help get rid of our problem. Eagle Pest Control was the only company willing to just handle the mouse issue. All the other companies required me to sign a service agreement that included not only rodents but bugs as well. Th contracts were all for 6 months to a year. Needless to say Eagle come out preformed the treatments and are letting me call them for any further service. Long story short - I didn't have to buy what I didn't need. read more

I live in Richmond Va and my mother lives in Warrenton VA..she had some issues and this company is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!! I called and research other pest services and by FAR this one is the best. They are friendly, personable and patience as well as knowledgeable as to what is needed and the best service for the homeowner. I would give this company a 10 out of 10. If you ever have any issues with ants, stink bugs etc..I would suggest and highly recommend them. read more
