The work came out clean, strong, and like new, and they made sure everything was done right the first time. Excellent machine work and problem-solving. They performed a broken spark plug extraction, head resurfacing, and a full valve job, all done to a high standard and affordable price. Today they also successfully extracted a broken valve cover bolt without damaging the head or threads, which says a lot about their skill and attention to detail. I wouldn't trust this kind of work to just anyone -- Highly Recommend. Skilled, professional, and clearly know their way around tough problems. Went in for a H22 head rebuild, provided the valves and had my head back in 3 days and came out running smooth. Second time I went in, asked to get my freshly tapped intake manifold and chamber hot tanked and cleaned and was charged $40, no effort of cleaning was made and was only hot tanked and had to clean out the metal shavings and carbon build up myself. Overall I recommend for the price just don't expect to get engine parts cleaned. read more

Had a terrible experience with these guys for the 2nd time. They rebuilt a head for my shop and admitted to making a mistake. They said the head was no good, had to pull it all back apart(20+ hours of work) to find this out. Wanted to charge me another 500 dollars for a new head. If they caught it the first time, no big deal. The amount of work is the problem. The only were willing to cover it after complaining, they gave me attitude as if I was the problem, and told me not to do business with them. I have to get another head gakset, all new seals and re do the job because they did a terrible job. AGAIN this is the second time something like this happened. They don't stand behind their work. I took my engine to get the bearings done on my crankshaft and I got my engine back with either they beat my crankshaft or they swapped me I would never recommend this place if you go better take pictures before you give it to them now I'm out of a motor because they don't know how to do it.i should have got the hint when I asked if they can make the engine vtec the response I got back was for me to find it on YouTube and show them the video on how to do it SMH worst shop I been too never going back I waisted $300 for them to brake my crankshaft read more

Told by my local (Redlands) mechanic that I had a bad head and simply needed to replace the engine on my '99 Toyota 4Runner. It was gonna cost nearly $6k. I called Eagle Eye as a head specialist and engine rebuilder for a diagnosis and quote. Yes, it was a blown head gasket with a cracked head. After tearing down and inspecting, they recommended just putting in a rebuilt head, new head gasket, water pump, and spark plugs. $1900 later, back on the road again and runs great! I'll need to put some solid miles on the car to really test the work, only time will tell. Customer service is good, prices are great, everytime we send something to be fixed it comes back great, and looking new. I really recommend this place they will get the job done correct! Their machine work is adequate, but under no conditions have them do any mechanical work on your vehicle. I had them rebuild my engine in my Astro, and they did exceptionally poor work with the installation. I took it back to them to correct the problem, they corrected the problem but then managed to damage something else, and then deny they were responsible. They actually cut 2 wires and then left them disconnected. I wouldn't have minded if they needed to cut the wires during installation, but I expect them to re-connect them. Brought my suv in on July, was told that it would take a month and a half to fix. Very pricey fix but I know my truck needed the repai, so price was not a problem to me. Took almost 3 months, very first day driving my almost 10k fix all the lights in the panel go crazy and the suv breaks down at a stopsign with a line of cars behind me. After that, it's either every 3 days or weekly having to bring it back to the shop to fix something new. Last time i took it they tell me that it was something they did wrong on their side and that it would be ready in 3 days, been a week and some change and have not heard back from my suv. When you call theres usually no answer and when they call back the suv is always "read they just have to drive it". Going on the 4th month and been able to drive my fixed up suv a whole 3 and a half times (usually from the shop to my house and from my house back to the shop). read more
