Eagle was assigned by Road Runner to pick up our vehicle. No show, no calls, no return calls...for three days. This business is needs to upgrade their communication skills. The owner's response to this review (which I'm editing now) misses the whole point of the long dialogue I had with him offline. It took him THREE DAYS to tell me he "wasn't assigned" my pickup by a company HE contracts with (Road Runner). Eagle "wasn't open on the weekend" but he waits until Tuesday to respond, not to my many messages, but to this review. Take up your beef with Road Runner. I have. Moving and shipping a car can be really stressful but working with eagle auto transport made shipping my car so much easier! I previously used another car shipping company from Uship and that was stressful due to lack of communication; however, my friend highly recommended eagle auto transport this time around and I'm grateful that she did! I contacted Eagle transport on 9-27-25. I spoke with Paul. He did explain that a driver would have to be found; but pickup could happen on 10-2-25. That didn't happen. I was starting to get a little; because I had paid a deposit. I called back and spoke with Rossi. She said she will see what she could do. She called me back as promised, and car was picked up. The driver was very friendly, and he explained everything to me. My car was picked up in Chicago on 10-9-25, and arrived in Atlanta. There was no damage to the vehicle. On November 24th I took two of my vehicles to car to The Eagle Auto Transport location 240 E Lake St #103, Addison, IL 60101 to be transported to Las Vegas. Vehicle#1 a jaguar SUV Vehicle #2 a jaguar sedan and Everything seem to have been going very well. I explained to the manager that the jaguar XF sedan will need to be jumpstarted to be moved due to the battery having low cells because I did not drive the car. The guy understood and proceeded to take pictures inside and out of both cars . I explained the jump process to him and also explained you need to jump the car from the trunk because the battery is in the trunk of them car. On November 26th the manager from called me stating he could not start the car. I explained to him again how to start my car. So he called me on face time and during the face time call I saw that he was using my jaguar SUV to jump start my jaguar car.i didnt understand why a auto tow and transport needed to use my SUV to jump start my car. He did not ask me for my permission to use my car to start the other one this was done without my consent.I felt this was a situation where he didn't want you use. The tow truck or a professional battery jumpstart on my car when im paying over 2 grand for service.I didnt know if this was discrimination or just bad practice or service I just wanted this to be over. During the face time video call I noticed he had the jumper cables connected at the front hood of the car after I explained to him that the battery of a jaguar is in the trunk. He stated he has never heard of this. I told him they are in the truck. He hung up the phone saying he could not get it started. I explained it will get a flight from las Vegas to chicago to ensure my vehicles are not damaged and properly transported. He said the driver is going to come back tomorrow because he had to take another car. I said ok. On November 28th the Eagle Auto Transport manager called and said it was very difficult but both trucks are on the truck and will be delivered it said ok. When they car was delivered we could not turn them car off because the start button was broken. We asked the driver he said go call them ma nager so I zelled him they money to play for the transport. Late pick up and late delivery, arrived 5 days after estimated date, due to "truck broke down" -- only found out when I reached out the day before original delivery date. I had to text them every day to ask for updates, and my Ipass was charged, no response when asked them about it. They also did not give a heads up about removing the ipass. read more

Everything about the transport was going well until delivery of the vehicle. I noticed a new scratch on the driver side door of my 2014 Subaru Outback much like the review of the Volkswagen below. This was the beginning of a month-long predicament. I initially tried to be accommodating to Paul and his driver since they gave me a decent price compared to other companies, even though it was delivered a day late. His driver admitted fault and we were on our way to getting the issue resolved. Document properly!!! DO NOT LET THEM GO WITHOUT INITIALS ON TOP OF NOTING NEW DAMAGE ON THE CONTRACT! Otherwise, they can deny any damage once you drive away from the scene of delivery and you're SOL. I went to 3 different auto body shops since it was a deep scratch on a pearl white paint (special factory paint that requires multiple layers of blending) so it was not going to be a cheap job to begin with. I gave Paul copies of all 3 estimates and allowed him and his driver to choose, which they obviously chose the cheapest option. Here is where the problem began. I told Paul, after verifying with my insurance agent, that the check was to be made under my name and not directly to the body shop because they've had issues in the past where the responsible party did not pay out to the shop and your vehicle is stuck in the shop until payment is issued. Paul adamantly refused and said it was their "policy" to make the payment out to the shop. I even had the representative of their body shop choice reach out to him and explain that payments are made out to the person who owned the vehicle (my car is completely paid off, no lien, therefore, payment is supposed to be made to me) I was getting tired of going back and forth and told him that if he wanted to pay the body shop, then it would be the body shop of MY choice out of the 3 authorized body shops. Paul refused to pay the full amount to the body shop of my choice and only wanted to pay the lesser amount based on the body shop of their choice. At this point, I told him that he either had to cut me the check directly or I would go through insurance since the situation had become more of a headache than anything. He tried to lie to me by saying that insurance companies do not cut checks directly to you for repairs. I was dumbfounded by this statement and I did not have the patience to continue being nice to them. I honestly lost my temper over the phone. Eventually, I went through my insurance, like I should have in the first place. And guess what, Paul? My insurance cut the check directly to me for my repairs and I can do whatever I want with it, repair or not, like it should be since YOUR DRIVER caused the damage in the first place! He even tried to lowball me and told me that he would only cut me a check directly for $700 (repair was estimated at $1100) It is not your choice and I was trying to be nice in the beginning, but you tried to take advantage of my kindness. Karma's a b*tch! All & all, their company is obviously cheap with pricing, but be careful because you get what you pay for (headache included) if damages occur upon delivery. Paul is nice at first but be ready to deal with a demon if damages occur during delivery. Documentation is your best friend! 1 star for my experience and I would definitely take stars away if I could with this month-long ordeal. I will be taking my business to an honest company in the future. read more

I wanted to transport a Camry from Chicago to Tucson so I obtained quotes from a half dozen national auto transport companies, mostly brokers plus some companies that owned their own fleet. I also used UShip to obtain another dozen or so quotes. All of the quotes were coming in around $1300 or higher. Plus most of the quotes had additional fees. The companies also couldn't commit to specific pickup or dropoff dates. Before I booked, I decided to check Yelp to see if there's a highly rated auto transport company in the Chicago area. That's how I found Eagle Auto Transport. Working with Eagle Auto Transport couldn't be easier. I called them late in the day on Wednesday. They immediately emailed me a quote of $1050. As soon as I paid a deposit of $150, Eagle located a driver (Dmitri) who picked up the car on Goose Island the next afternoon (Thursday) and delivered the car in Tucson three days later (Sunday, a day faster than originally estimated). After inspecting the car (which, aside from being dusty, was in the same condition as when it was picked up), I paid the driver the balance in cash. Highly recommended. read more

From the time it was picked up right to the time it was delivered, the communication was on time and seamless. The delivery guy was friendly and professional. I must confess after reading horror stories on the internet about various companies and customer experiences on delivery delays, I got a rental car for an extra few days but ended up returning it the same day he promised!! Prior to taking the car, he took note of all the scratches and even noticed some under the bumper that I did not know I had. When he returned the car, he did the same thing. Not a new scratch anywhere!!! In fact, I had heard that I would need to take it to get a wash because it would be filthy from exposure, high speeds and bugs, but mine was not. I drove around another week without getting a car wash. I have already referred another customer to him. They are headed towards Dallas. We were having our daughter's vehicle moved from Portland to Chicago. We spoke with many of the "big name" auto moving companies and no one could give us a date certain as to when our car would/could be picked up and delivered and they couldn't guarantee a price. Additionally, they cost many hundreds of $$ more. Eagle Auto Transport gave me 1 quote, nothing extra, no extra delivery fees, nothing, and they were able to give me an accurate window for pickup and delivery. They actually picked up earlier and dropped off earlier, which we really appreciated. The driver (Eddie) was a super nice guy on both ends - with my daughter and with us.. He stayed in touch with us and gave us an approx ETA and finally, made sure it was at a time that was most convenient to our schedule. He did such a good job, we gave him a tip, which he did not expect and was definitely grateful for. The vehicle was in excellent shape and the few items packed inside arrived safe and sound. I had my vehicle delivered from California to NYC. There was no receipt given to the mechanics and THERE WAS DAMAGE ON THE VEHICLE CAUSED DURING TRANSPORT. I was sent photos when the auto was being loaded on the transport vehicles and when the vehicle was delivered there was a broken headlamp and scratches on the passenger side of the vehicle. I spoke to the driver and he told me that when he received the vehicle (at some transport area) there was damage. Now, no one wants to return my calls or answer the phones!!!! I can't even get a copy of the invoice or receipt.
