Can't say enought great things about Bobby and Van 3 Auto Transport. I called him Tuesday evening to inquire about shipping our car, we finalized the deal Wednesday midday and our car was picked up by 4pm on Thursday. Full story: We had engaged another broker to transport our car from Boston to California and the other broker pulled a bait and switch tripling the originally quoted price. Needless to say we cancelled our order with that broker leaving us in a pinch. When I called Bobby, I was very skeptical of auto shippers because of the other broker. He was very patient with me, explaining everything and assuring us he would deliver on his promises. I had read all the great reviews on Yelp so I decided to go for it. Within an hour he had located a driver and had the driver's dispatch call me to coordinate a pick-up time and what we could expect upon delivery. When the truck arrived to pick-up our car, the driver was very professional and documented the condition of the car while keeping me informed of everything he was doing. When he finished, I was shown everything he had noted and was provided an electronic copy to my email. Our car was delivered right to our door and in excellent condition. The lack of transparency and communication made this whole process a nightmare. We needed to ship our car from CA to WA and decided to go with Van3 since it seemed a bit cheaper than other options and we wanted to support a small business. Their reviews seemed good enough. Communication was through Yelp and it was rather sporadic and delayed. We didn't receive updates unless we followed up. There were so many miscommunications regarding the pick up of our vehicle. We were told that we would be contacted by a driver within a 3-day pick up window. This call never came. TWICE. We had to go through scheduling a vehicle pick-up two different times due to various excuses and circumstances that were never communicated to us until after the fact. Our car was supposed to arrive to WA the same day we moved in. We had planned for that weeks back. Due to the continuous delays, lack in communication, and "unforeseen circumstances," we were left without a car in WA for 1.5 weeks. Moving is already a stressful process. This service was supposed to make it easier, but it only added to the stress. Timelines were not honored or respected. Do not go with them unless you're not particular about your car arrival! I decided on Van3 to transport my car from GA to CA because it was a smidge cheaper than other competitors without lacking good reviews, and the initial call with Bobby went well. However, we scheduled my car to be picked up on May 11/12, but it was actually picked up on May 18. Arrival was estimated to be 5-7 business days & my car was delivered on May 27. Since Van3 don't provide tracking, we put an airtag in the car and my car was sitting around Compton for a few days!! We didn't receive updates (usually a day after) unless we texted or called/left voicemail first. Turns out, it was national inspection week so truck drivers were being stopped or didn't want to accept transport. Being in the business for years, I would've expected professionals to be aware of that time of year. read more

Service Completed in Less Than 14 Hours! My free quote call to Van 3 Auto Transport (V3AT) was at 11:35 on Monday 24 November while making a 7+ hour drive to South Florida. The vehicle arrived at its drop off location (JAX to MIA) at 01:10 on Tuesday 25 November. I have transported vehicles before and never has it been this easy and definitely not this quick. Bobby of V3AT was clear, definitive, flexible, and responsible. He called when he said he would call and his driver picked up within five mins of the scheduled pick up time and although the drop off was not as precise, getting the vehicle there in such a timely manner was priceless. I highly recommend this service and I will be using V3AT again for a return drop off. Concerning the pricing, it was more expensive - $450 for a JAX to MIA transport - than the other two places I called to compare pricing but it was worth it for our requirements: Paid 50% at reservation and 50% at drop off. My 1st shipment with Van3 was great so I scheduled my second shipment. I would NOT RECOMMEND for the following reasons: 1. Poor communication- I had to reach out via phone, email, text to get an answer when my car will be picked up and for the driver's info. Got my narrowed date and time last minute. 2. Per their website, it states they won't charge my card prior to getting the driver assigned. However, they charged me the downpayment immediately and when asked for the driver's number to get in contact, I was told I wasn't assigned a driver. 3. IMPORTANT!!!!! Insurance is NOT covered. On their website, they list as ALL damages are covered. But this is NOT TRUE. My car got a small dent so I took videos to file for insurance with Van 3. The broker when preforming the drop off inspection, kept taking the damaged portion of the car in a low quality mode/at an angle so the photo wouldn't be able to tell the damage and kept marking the area as "scratch" when it was apparent that it was a dent. Mind you, he only took the photos because I went through the inspection report before signing and he did not include the damages. When I pointed his behavior, the broker got mad at me and said its expected to get damages when driving long distances and yelled, "what do you want me to do huhh??" Then he said he didn't know how to use the app they use to take photos for inspection and that the app doesn't have the option to mark the damages other than "scratch." Are you kidding me?? I reached out to Van 3 Auto with the inspection report and videos of the damage. First email got back being very helpful stating that they will send a following email with instructions on how to file for the insurance myself since they cant. It's been a week and after two emails as a follow up and phone calls, the are NOT responding. If you are looking for a company that actually covers with their insurance as they mentions on their website, DO NOT use this service. They will GHOST you. read more

I hired this company to ship our car from PA to Las Vegas. Our car was picked up Nov 25 and was given a delivery date of Dec 2 for 1400. First of all Bobby told my husband he wasnt a broker (he is). By Dec 2 we heard nothing from anyone. I called and spoke to Bobby who called me back and said the driver said delivery on Dec 3. He also said the driver's truck was down for 3 days (???). Needless to say, the car did not come. We went online to check the BOL sent by driver that picked up the car, and it said that on Dec 2 MY CAR WAS IN PHILADELPHIA PA (7 days later). I called Bobby and he said it wasn't true (it was true). My car was finally delivered Sunday Dec 6 at 10pm. That driver said he did not pick up my car until Dec 2 from Philadelphia. Therefore, my car was sitting somewhere in Philadelphia for 7 days. All I can say is Bobby did return calls and he did get us 150 off but the communication was poor. I don't know if he was lying to us or not but I would not use this company again. read more

I just shipped a vehicle to San Diego from Florida. I had done EXTENSIVE research before ultimately choosing a company. The majority of companies are bait and switch type or just straight up scams. I found out that the majority of companies will pay for fake google reviews. After finding this out, I then was told to look at each companies reviews on yelp because Yelp is the only reliable review site. I was horrified when I found out the company I thought was legit because of the Google reviews was actually a scam. Other scam companies will also negotiate the price with you. Huge red flag, they will basically agree to whatever you want upfront tell you after pickup that the cost went up...and then will not release your car to you in the end unless you pay. I have read horror stories online. I ended up finding this company, Van 3 Auto Transport. There is an actual person that you can call once you book your shipment, his name is Bobby. They cannot guarantee the exact day/time of pickup and they disclosed that to me in the beginning. I scheduled to pickup date knowing they could be late. They ended up being 3 days late to pick it up, but it was because they try to time your pickup along with 6 other people that fit on the carrier. My vehicle ended up arriving on time though and it was super easy. I had a great experience with this company and I didn't think their prices were anything crazy. I can't recommend Van 3 Auto enough!! My fiancé & I were slated to be out of our ATL condo and move to MD on 9/7. We had a confirmed car shipment for Friday, 9/6; however, the company we HAD booked and confirmed with bailed on us the morning of with zero accountability. The only response we got was "we cannot guarantee a shipment date" coupled with zero accountability. This was quite frustrating to say the least. I came to Yelp in search for reputable auto shipping companies and called Van 3 Auto (10:30am). When Bobby answered the phone, he quickly provided me an on the spot, reasonable quote and listened to the dire situation we were in. While other companies cannot guarantee shipping dates, Bobby was able to secure a carrier within 30 minutes!! By 12:30pm, our Jeep was on the carrier! BaBa, the driver, was just as friendly, prompt, and communicative. Our car was effortlessly delivered to us on Sunday, 9/8, at 12:30pm. If I could leave 10 stars I would. Transporting a vehicle to and from Florida has been a nightmare. Other companies give you low prices, then jack it up the day of. Or in my case no communication and no show. I reached out to Bobby on a Sunday. Desperate and in need, he made the transition smooth and easy. My vehicle was picked up Tuesday and delivered Thursday. The driver was awesome. Communicated the entire time. This company has a customer for life. If you are smart, give them a call. There is no BS going on. The price is the price. I shipped a Prius from Atlanta to Los Angeles. The company did what was promised. The driver was very good and took my concerns seriously. Bobby answered questions when asked. The only issue (and it did not affect the overall service) was that the driver didn't have the correct amount due - I had to show him my confirmation for the correct price to be accepted. He was very good about accepting it but I would say that intra-company communication isn't reliable.
