Instead, Montway arrived with an open trailer without disclosing this beforehand, transported the vehicle to New Jersey, and left it at a facility for 8 days!!!--something we were also never told would happen. Communication throughout the process was astonishingly terrible given their reviews online. We later learned from the supervisor Lily that the original carrier had missed the pickup, yet Montway never notified us. I repeatedly requested updates and calls from supervisors that never came. The supervisor Lily ultimately acknowledged that mistakes had been made and that we had been misled regarding both the transportation arrangements and delivery timeframe. She also acknowledged that she was going to do everything in her power to assist in a refund, but the vehicle would need to be delivered first; which made zero sense. The vehicle was finally delivered on September 14, nearly three weeks after booking. After delivery, Lily with Montway told us she was working on a 50% refund, despite everything that occurred. They ultimately did not issue even that refund; their offer $100 credit..... and we declined. Lily said, it was the best they could do... The best thing THEY could have done was do the right thing considering the mistake after mistake after mistake they made. Between the undisclosed open transport and storage, significant delays, lack of communication, misleading information, and failure to honor even their proposed partial refund, this was a horrible and unacceptable experience. I would not trust Montway with a high-value vehicle EVER again.

They work with you on every detail front the pricing, to the pickup and timing of delivery, communicating back & forth with the driver and keeping the customer informed of the status. Similar to a moving van, there's a window of time for pickup/delivery but they coordinate it all with you. I love the attention to detail and REALLY appreciate that the goal is to ensure the customer knows what's going on at every step. The pricing was "all inclusive" with no hidden fees which I also really appreciate. Sounds like they're based out of Chicago but can handle business from anywhere in the country which is awesome. There was no new damage upon delivery. The only issue I have is that 29 extra miles popped up on the odometer and fuel tank lost 2 gal. That's 14 miles/gal for a 2015 bmw 435 (22/32 mpg). What is even more concerning is that the joy rider(s) must have seen worn tires with wires showing through and still drove it hard for 29 miles. Not good. Ironically I picked this company over five other bidders on uship.com who submitted $100 lower bids.

Gabriel who was our driving gave us an estimate of the time of pick up 3-5pm told us that he was running late about 2 hrs due to traffic ok we understand, two hours run by 7pm and no show didnt bother to call. 920pm showed and he finally showed up. I mean we would have to rearrange our flight or plan if we had too. Later the next day, when he dropped off came my brother in law didnt show up to Chicago yet because he was held behind because of the driver coming late would have gotten here sooner and the driver that dropped off the carhad the nerve to asked me if i had a spare keys i mean you're trying to tell me if i had an extra key without me being the owner of the car. In other words he lost my brother in laws car keys which you would think they should be responsible for. This place is so irresponsible makes me so upset to even go with them.
