Never answers and it's unreliable when it comes to service calls. It's not hard to communicate, even if you are late or need to reschedule. If clients are taking time off work and out of their day to make sure to be available, the least the contractor can do is the communicate. read more

I saw the great reviews for Nick here on Yelp and decided to get a second opinion on my dishwasher repair. Nick diagnosed the issue (broken pump motor) over the phone and asked for the model number, explaining that some models would be overly complicated/costly to repair. Nick gave me a link to the replacement part and a (perfectly reasonable) quote on the phone. The first company I talked to claimed (without too much information) that the repair would be upwards of $600 and that I should just buy a new one. Nick showed up on time and quickly made the repair. I'm very happy I asked for the second opinion. read more

I can't even begin to capture what an amazing service Nick provided to us today. The water dispenser on the outside door of our Samsung refrigerator was broken. After ordering the right parts for our model, he not only did the repair expertly and reasonably priced, but he cleaned behind the fridge for us, and gave advice on how to avoid scratching our wood floor when pulling the fridge out. And he explained exactly what went wrong and how all the parts work together. He's the sole owner of this local shop, and I would recommend him for any appliance repair. He may not respond immediately because he's working and doesn't have an assistant, but he was completely dependable with everything we discussed. I would give higher than a 5 rating if I could. read more

Already love this guy. Gave him a call and he gave me a super quick fix over the phone rather than sending out a tech to make money. I'm trying it tonight, if it doesn't work, Nick will be the first person I call to come out. Seems like a really knowledgable professional who I already know is honest! So update - our fridge wouldn't start working even after all his expert phone advice, so we hired him to come on out. And Nick is a total rockstar. He figured out the problem, and even though they can't get the part, and will probably end up having to get a new fridge, he only charged us for his time, offered us a ton of solutions, is obviously extremely competent, and was polite, courteous, efficient, and overall excellent. We were extremely happy with Nick's service. So nice to have a go-to appliance repair person. Makes life so much easier when things break! Yay for Nick! read more

Fantastic, fast, friendly service, I couldn't have asked for better. Nick came out within a day of me calling him to repair our dryer. He was able to diagnose and repair it under an hour. He also gave us advice on maintenance for the dryer and for our other appliances. The next time I have the need I will contact Nick at Eagle and you should as well. read more

Nick is incredible! I have two small children & our washer stopped working. I was afraid during Covid yet he scheduled & was able to come out that day! He looked at both my washer & my dishwasher for a great price! I was so appreciate of his prompt arrival, understanding & willingness to help! read more

Austin was prompt and courteous and honest. He was able to diagnose the problem relatively quickly and take care of it. Since it wasn't something huge, he was able to keep my labor costs low. He even diagnosed another issue while he was here, and was able to make a quick pit stop to pick up the part and then come through later in the afternoon to repair. It turned out the part wasn't needed after all though, and he didn't charge me for any unnecessary labor or issues. I highly recommend Austin and will call him again if there are any issues. read more

Have to say I would love to have a had a chance to hire them - but its been two weeks and three unanswered messages..we've got to go else where. Too bad too - I manage rentals and need a reliable "go to" company to do repairs. read more

Replaced a bad valve in my Viking Dishwasher. Nick did a fantasic job and went the extra mile to meet my schedule. I have used Eagle Appliance repair both personally and for my business. They always meet or exceed my expectations. Pricing is very fair and quick to get the job done right. I give Eagle my highest recommendation as an appliance service company in the Seattle area. read more

I spoke with Nick on Tuesday and he was available first thing Wednesday morning. He arrived within the time window he specified and quickly diagnosed the problem with my refrigerator (a faulty defrost thermostat, which I had suspected). In addition to replacing the part, Nick thoroughly defrosted the back coils and cleaned the front exchange assembly of accumulated lint (so it would cool more efficiently). I swear he was there longer than the hour he charged me for. And did more work than was strictly required. For $210, I have a fully functioning refrigerator that is actually better than it was before his visit. Highly recommended. read more

Our Refrigerator stopped working , and some of the appliance repair reviews were scary. Nick answered and said he could be here the next day at 830 and he was (well 15 minutes late, but really). He took his shoes off, and got to work. It was a small part and he charged us 200 bucks for a pretty quick job. I was very happy. It seemed a good deal as I was thinking new frig, he told me to clean out the underneath to give the coils plenty of air. If you need someone to do appliance repair, and give great Service Nick is your guy. read more

We rent a very old house with very old appliances, and our dryer unexpectedly died (like a Nazgul, at about 1 bazillion decibels). I only have the time to do laundry 1 day/week, with our schedules, so I was really, really needing someone to come out ASAP and make it work again. I called Eagle Appliance and left a message, and they called me right back and scheduled an appointment for the next day. Nick showed up on time, and was polite and friendly during the entire exchange. He fixed the dryer (belt needed replacing) and cleaned out the lint for me (we lack a vacuum cleaner, so I fretted when the words "fire hazard" came out of his mouth) in about 20 minutes. I haven't had much appliance repair done, so I have no idea if the cost was competitive, or not. But the service was excellent, prompt, and positive all around. (and honestly, given it's a cost that may happen once every 3-5 years, it seemed very affordable to me) I will definitely use these folks again, when the need arises. read more

Refrigerator went out yesterday, and it was getting pretty warm in there. I called Eagle Repair this morning and was able to squeeze into the schedule today. Hooray, hooray, Nick was on time and was able to determine the cause of the problem right away! read more

This review is based only on my phone call. I don't necessarily give them a 1 star rating but just a comment about my experience. After a week of calling twice and leaving a voicemail--no return call yet. Also, on their voice message--they don't give a reason why they might be unable to call back. So I don't know if they are just busy or are just inconsiderate. So just a word of advice for them--mention it on your voicemail. It's a really easy fix and you won't get this type of bad review. This company has the most reviews and very highly rated in my current location. So they may just be in high demand or very busy. I went with rich's appliance service instead. So here's some yelp advice. When choosing repair companies or companies like these--don't choose solely on most reviews or ratings alone. You might dismiss the ones with less reviews and they might be just as good. Just saying. read more

Nick at Eagle appliance has always been great. We have been using him for all of our property management needs for the past 5+ years. From day one he has always provided the best price and the fastest turnaround time, consistently! Often times repairing appliances is not in the owner's best interest and he will let us know if that is the case. We will continue to use Eagle Appliance for all of our appliance repair needs. read more

Nick is worth every 5 star review he has! My 5 year old Maytag fridge died catastrophically, Nick was thourough and professional with his assessment. Fridge Died, but I found a great new repair guy! He took time to explain my options, showed up exactly on time, and fixed my dishwasher (not scheduled) on the spot. the fee was nominal at best. Cant be happier, really! read more

On a Saturday our washing machine stopped working & we anticipated a costly repair to the motor or worse. Called Nick, thanks to a yelp search. He was here the next day right on time and after a quick diagnosis figured out it wasn't broken but 2 kids socks were stuck in the pump. He cleaned it out and put everything back good as new when done. We were happy to pay the $135 bill, he was courteous and quick, not a shady character at all as some we have dealt with in the past. Thanks Nick! I'd definitely recommend him to anyone needing appliance repair. read more

Nick came out within a day of me calling to repair my washing machine. He was prompt, very honest, knowledgeable, friendly, and fair. I give him an A+ and recommend his services! I'm grateful to have found him through reading other satisfied Yelp reviews. read more

Nick happened to be in the neighborhood, and was at my house 10 minutes after I called him - he even promised NOT to charge me if he found my dishwasher un-repairable when he got here; how nice is that? He found the problem quickly, showed and explained it to me, and ran down some (very reasonable) cost estimates of my options. I'm still waiting to find out if my 10 year old part is available, but either way, Nick gets five stars for being fast, honest, knowledgeable, and a very nice guy. It was a good enough experience that I finally got my Yelp account just so I could write this review. read more

Nick is so sweet, knowledgeable, and considerate. I was also grateful for how non-judgmental he was. He arrived within the time frame that he gave us and fixed my parent's dishwasher within half an hour. He took the initiative to level their dishwasher and gave us tips on how we could install the dishwasher so that it wasn't tipping constantly. He even took a look at our fridge and gave us insight on next steps we could consider taking. We'll definitely be calling him in the future. :) read more

When our refrigerator broke down, Nick got to our house quicker than anyone else could (we still had to wait a few days). He needed to order a new thermostat, but he set us up with a temporary one. After using the new thermostat, we realized it wasn't working well, and Nick came out and replaced it as soon as he could. Nice guy, really knowledgeable... highly recommended! read more

Can I rate more than 5 stars? Nick is the MAN! After a nightmare experience with Sears Appliance Repair, I found Nick online as a local repairman. He was able to come out the same day I called him and fixed my fridge in under and hour.. something that Sears would have done for double the price and around 4 weeks. Nick came over and found the issue to be something else with the unit. Cut and paste replacing of the parts would have been a waste (which was what the Sears repairman would have done at double the cost). Nick also found additional issues, kindly explained how they're all contributing to an ultimate issue then fixed them with the parts he had on his person. Imagine that.. a repair man that comes prepared! Benefits of a local repair service - helping a small business, speedy service, and (in my case) a more thorough evaluation of my refrigerator. I compared his charges for parts and found that Sears blatantly overcharges for their parts (major evap fan typically $109, Sears wanted to charge $219). I called Sears to resolve my issue and all they did was create a new one with horrible service. Thankfully I was able to get my money back. Nick's service was literally HALF of what Sears would have charged. My only regret at this point is not calling Eagle Appliance Repair sooner. read more

Nick saved me thousands! No kidding.... I had him out to fix my leaking water dispenser. He discovered that my compressor fan wasn't working at all and this could have been VERY bad for my refrigerator. Total time to fix both problems was about an hour (and he even cleaned the dust bunnies under the frig!) I am completely happy with Eagle Appliance Repair and will use them again if I have any other issues. read more

Nick is the person to call when you have appliance problems! You will be able to talk on the phone to him directly about your problem, not having to go through a big company and automated phone systems. Nick fixed my leaking washing machine, and his labor rates were extremely reasonable. He also gave me a tip on how to care for my washer and prevent possible damage in the future. Nick is very knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. I will always call him for any appliance repair. read more

Nic is very professional and intuitive when it comes to making appliance and home repairs. I have been extremely happy with his services. I called Nic to fix my freezer (frost build up) and he came the next day. He was VERY professional, and insisted on taking out all the freezer food and putting it back when he was finished. He even cleaned up the frosty mess on my floor! He explained what he was doing and the price was reasonable. Freezer fixed (along with a warrantee for his parts and labor), I highly recommend him! read more

I am extremely disappointed with my interaction with this company which is why I have to leave them this negative review. I called on Monday AM to arrange for someone to fix my Kenmore gas oven which had recently stopped working. Nick answered the phone right away and said he could stop by at 9am on Wednesday to take a look at it. Everything was fine until the actual day of my appointment. By 9:15am on Wednesday, Nick had not shown up yet (or called). So I tried to call him to see where he was (wanting to make sure he didn't forget about me). I was the first appointment of his day so I thought it was strange that he wouldn't be there on time, especially since his location is only 10 blocks from my house. I left him a message with my name and phone number so he could call me back. At 9:30am, Nick was still nowhere to be found. I called him again and had to leave another message. I told him he was 30 minutes late and I would not be waiting around for him any more. I had taken a couple hours off of work for this appointment so I was very disappointed that he failed to show up on time or even call me to tell me he is running behind. At 9:45am he shows up as I'm heading out the door to go to work. I told him, "Sorry, you're too late. I have to go". He didn't have an excuse for being 45 minutes late but blamed me for misunderstanding him. Which I don't know how that's possible when he clearly said I'll see you at 9am on Wednesday. He claimed he said he would be there "around 9am". If that is true then I would assume that meant he would show up some time between 8:45am and 9:15am. Which he didn't, he showed up at 9:45am. Instead of just admitting that he was late, he insisted on arguing with me on my front porch. I told him that I had already contacted a rival company and they would be sending someone out to fix my issue. I eventually just had to ask him to leave and shut my door. Since I'm sure he is reading this, Nick, here are a few things to remember when you work in an industry based on customer service and recommendations: The customer is always right! Admit when you make a mistake and don't blame them when you F up! Have the courtesy to call your customers if you are going to be more than 15 minutes late to an a scheduled visit. I wouldn't recommend him to anybody (not even someone I don't like). Save your money and your time and go with another reliable company. read more

We used this guy a maybe 4 years ago for a bad gasket on the refrigerator. He told us that we should not get a repair gasket because they come in a box crammed and they never flatten. We didn't listen and told him to replace the gasket. He did and it was just like he said it would be - it came in a crammed box and it would not flatten, so we still had the same problem. A few months later we got a new whirlpool and of course, 3 years later the fan motor died. He came in and fixed it fast, and it's like new. Not only would we recommend this guy for service, but we would also say that you should listen to him because he knows what he's talkin about. Five stars for sure! read more

My gas clothes dryer stopped heating. I called Eagle and spoke with Nick. I explain the issue and he stated it might be the heat coil, as the machine is 14 years old and that's a common thing to go bad. I was able to get an appointment within 24 hours. He arrived within the pre-arranged window of time. He was professional, friendly, and thoroughly explained everything. He replaced the gas coil and also mentioned the felt around the dryer drum was looking a little thin. We decided to replace that, too (extra $15). He completed the job in under 30 minutes and asked if I had any questions about any of my other appliances. I didn't, but when something goes south with one of them, I will call Nick! read more

Nick was terrific! I called this morning and he was over by midafternoon. He had brought over a part that he thought would solve the problem with our refrigerator that I had described; when he found out it was the wrong one, he returned to his office to pick up the correct one (and didn't charge for the time). He also advised against our buying another costly part from him, saying it would be cheaper to buy the part ourselves and easy to install it. I appreciated his honesty and level of service. read more

If you're so busy that you can't respond to service requests, hire an assistant, partner, or apprentice or something. Why have a website, yelp page, etc if you don't seem to care about responding to potential customers. It seems lazy and rude. I own a small business. If someone calls or emails me, I at least acknowledge them within a day or two. I contacted this company over a month ago and never got a response. That's really unprofessional. read more

Our refrigerator broke and Nick came out the same day to repair it. He was very professional and his price was fair for the work he did. Plus he put up with our yellow lab who wanted to help him do his work. Will definitely use his service again. read more

We had a couple of issues with our old washer and dryer. For $185, Nick came when scheduled and spent the hour or so it took to do what was necessary. Nick was on time, friendly, informative, and worked fast. He got our old Kenmore Dishwasher disassembled, then all cleaned out (we have 3 dogs and hair somehow migrates into the filters), tested it, cleaned a bit more. He recommended against a costly motor replacement (water flow is fairly weak) and, said to buy a new DW when we reach that point. Highly recommend, and would definitely use again. Thank you Nick! Please order some waterproof stickers so it's easy to call you next time we need appliance repair. read more

Eagle appliance came to our home for a few things, all of which were pretty minor (and mostly user error). He looked at our dishwasher, washer, dryer and was able to remedy all 3 issues. We found him to be honest, to the point and was even nice enough to share his knowledge with my husband. Would hire again without question. read more

I arranged for Nick based on Yelp ratings. My dishwasher was not cleaning the dishes and making a lot noise. He came out, fixed the dishwasher, within about a week. One load worked great, but by that Friday, the dishwasher was not cleaning again. I called, he was on vacation. I called again on Tuesday when he was back. He came out a few days later and said nothing was wrong - just the settings on the dishwasher. My dishes still don't come out clean. I rinsed off all the dishes before putting them in and when they come out, they have debris on them that wasn't there before. If I needed a new dishwasher (it's only 3 years old), I wish he would've just told me. On the positive side, he was very polite and professional, just didn't solve my problem. read more

Amazing service, i called them to come by and fix the washer and dryer although their schedule was full, they managed to drop by the next day and fix everything. Really good service and nice people, you rarely find any genuine people when it comes to services, but eagle repairs is the exception, ask for Nick! read more

My mom's LG fridge stopped cooling Wednesday morning. I called a few highly rated Yelp services, one didn't do LG appliances, another couldn't get us in until Monday. I left a message with Eagle, and Nick called me back right away, and came over an hour later. Two parts needed to be replaced, and one part needed to be ordered, he got that one the next day, came over and finished the job. I gather it was not an easy job as the fridge was very iced up inside. Cost was about $300 which seemed very reasonable to me, it was quite a lot of labor on his part too. He was super nice and knew just what to do, and just basically very helpful and conscientious. We will definitely be calling him again for our next appliance disaster! read more

Amazing. Helped me fix my dryer over the phone. I was inquiring for a repair job and he walked me though some tips to fix it. And it worked!
