Amazing pastries!! My almond one was the best. Cookies are great, very sweet. Kolaches were also fantastic. The space is cute and there is seating, staff were all friendly and worked quickly.

Small clean environment. Perfect to stop by while on a walk. Service is ok, not friendly. The pastries are the reason I come back. Pastry menu is always changing and croissants are so crispy and layered perfectly. Coffee is also good, I like ordering their golden milk.

Easy to order, cute walkup window. Only outdoor seating on picnic benches. Menu rotates constantly, delicious pastries and the dough on the kolaches was soft and had a perfect chew. Fruity pebbles latte is my new favorite drink and the chai cookie was spiced perfectly. All food was delicious and service was great!

I had my friend pick up two items for me from Eadough, so I did not get the walk up experience. I've been meaning to go here in person though! I got the saag paneer kolache and the gajar ka halwa bread pudding. Now anyone who knows me, knows I'm a fiend for gajar ka halwa and saag paneer so this was a must. I haven't had this place before, but the collab definitely pulled me in! Savory vegetarian kolache options do not come often, and I really hope this inspires Eadough to add and keep more of them. The bread was so soft and pillowy and the saag paneer was flavored well without being too strong or punchy. The gajar ka halwa bread pudding was amazing - not too sweet which is difficult when it comes to most indian desserts. I recommend eating this warm or heated as it was a bit too dry when cooled or at room temperature. When heated, the cake was moist and buttery which played very well to bringing out some key flavors. I can't speak to the service, but the packaging was cute. I hope to come here again and try other options from their regular menu, but hope they keep these two going!

I loveee the pastry items here. Haven't had a miss. I randomly will crave their chocolate croissants and make the small drive over to EaDough in Eado. Their coffee drinks is nothing to rave about but I'll always get an iced latte. Nothing really stands out, and I feel like their seasonal drinks are on the higher priced side. Customer service at the window is a bit lacking. Those lunch pita sandwiches are a fan favorite. It's a walk up window with limited seating, I'm usually just picking up on a weekday. Few parking spaces. POC, woman owned.

We went on a holiday, longish line that didnt take particularly long and we also scored a bench. Service and really attentive and cheery ck sidering the crowds. Every single item was delicious. 4 drinks and 7 pastries was about $75 and worth it. Even jn.the heat, building actually had shade outside.

Stumbled upon EaDough, this little window bakery in East Downtown, the other day and I'm so glad I did. It was one of those random finds that ended up being a great surprise. I ordered a breakfast sandwich, an almond loaf, and a chocolate chip cookie. The breakfast sandwich was filling and a great way to start the meal. But the almond loaf absolutely stole the show -- I've been thinking about it every day since I had it. It was perfectly balanced, flavorful, and easily the standout item. I was so full that I had to save the chocolate chip cookie for the next day, but even then it was incredible. Honestly, it's probably one of the top five chocolate chip cookies I've had in Houston. I also really liked the concept of ordering from the window. It made for a relaxed experience, and it was a perfect day to sit outside and enjoy the food. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back.

Small quant walk up coffee shop located off the Columbia tap bike trail... A good selection of sweet and savory treat... Service is fast and friendly... My ice coffee was a little bit on the bitter side but other than that I really love the concept of this coffee shop...

Eadough is a small walk up counter with a nice selection of pastries and coffee. There are a few parking spots along the side of the building but otherwise it's gonna be street parking. I decided to try their iced latte with lavender rose syrup and their almond croissant loaf. I could taste the essence of lavender/rose in the latte but not much sweetness. But the latte was still smooth and not bitter so I didn't mind too much. The loaf was LARGE and very tasty. The almonds and powdered sugar balanced out the overall sweetness of the pastry. My total came out to about $14, which feels like kind of a lot but I will give credit that the pastry is big. Service was very nice as well. The person who took my order helped me decide between pastries

Amazing kolaches and a killer seasonal menu. Busy for Mother's Day but the line moved fast and everyone was super kind and polite.

Never have I ever seen a coffee filled 2/3 because I asked for light ice. Wtf Eadough. Also the girls here are weird sometimes I say my name and spell it and they still get it wrong and it's a basic name.

EaDough has become my local-ish, go to bakery and its a nice, easy stop for a morning baked good or drink. It's mostly a step up window with some outdoor seating so I've always just grabbed things to go. Staff have always been friendly and able to provide recommendations as the baked goods change on a regular-ish cycle. I think of the various croissants I've tried in the city, they have my favorite. The croissants are flakey and you can get them in fun flavors (cookie dough, pumpkin, almond, and other seasonal options). I did find the cookie dough croissants a bit too sweet for me personally but they were a good, rich dessert (and half was all I needed to feel satisfied). They also have a nice assortment of kolaches for savory options. Their butter chicken and spiced beef ones stand out as more unique and flavorful as opposed to standard sausage ones (not that these aren't good in their own right). I don't think I've had a bad baked good here but prices vary and I don't think the cookies are $6 (though they wre good cookies). Overall, EaDough definitely has a nice option of baked goods and seem to have consistently tasty options. They do sell out lf goods so try and get here early if you're after a specific seasonal treat!

Carrot halwa Loaf

Food: - earl grey sesame cookie: very sweet and rich but had a great flavor of earl grey! def one to share because of its sweetness - Biscoff croissant: also very sweet but delicious and flaky. There's a hint of other spices in there that make it so tasty!! - Shakshuka danish: delicious and savory - carrot halwa danish: probs my favorite. Very tasty but also very sweet (as carrot halwa is supposed to be) - cinnamon loaf: classic and a good pairing with a warm beverage - blueberry lemon muffin: so light and flaky yet so flavorful. A must. I was surprised how good it was!! Service: very friendly and kind staff. Ambiance: nice and clean walk up. Limited parking however easy to find a spot. Overall the treats are incredibly sweet but have a delicious flavor profile. If you're a fan of super sweet, it's for you! If you're not a fan, bring a friend and share!

We finally came around to checking it out and OMG YES. It absolutely is worth the hype. As a lover of egg tarts and someone who is also very particular about it - these have won my heart! I also heard great things about the mango mochi so we couldn't leave without those. Thankfully they still had some in stock. I heard they sell out quickly especially on weekends. Those also lived up to its hype. SO YUMMY! Tastes so fresh including the mangoes. My kiddo who LOVES mango anything loved them so much! My husband also got 2 savory pastries (I forgot what they were called and I forgot to take a picture) and those were yummy too. Perfectly flakey crust just like the egg tarts. We wanted to get sesame balls but they were sold out. Customer service was great. The guy that took our order was very nice. It was pretty busy but he moved through the line quickly. There's some seating inside if you want to eat there. Prices are very reasonable at $2 each for the mochi and egg tarts. The savory pastries were $3. It's located in a shared lot/area. Parking can be tight and limited on a busy weekend day but they have parking right out front for the Eck bakery customers. Also note that if you pay with card it's a 2.5% charge so cash is better if you have it. We didn't but we know now for future. We had a great experience here and will definitely be back. Next time we'll come earlier and get a bigger order and try their other offerings.

Anyway, I finally got a chance to stop by on a Sunday late morning recently. Parking can be difficult, but there are dedicated Koffeteria spots in front of the business as well as surrounding paid curbside parking. I believe Instagram helped many others discover this business recently, as it was pretty packed and there was a line, but this gave us ample opportunity to peruse the menu and pastry display. Ultimately, we opted for the: Cambodian iced coffee (kayfe dahkoh) made with sweetened condensed milk and evaporated milk - tasted very similar but weaker than Vietnamese coffee. As I'm Viet and have never had Cambodian coffee, this was my only frame of reference, and I didn't love it. I'm excited to try more Cambodian coffees to get a better understanding of their unique flavor profile! Black sesame mochi - sweet and perfectly sesame flavored with salted yolk at the bottom, delicious, my partner's favorite pastry Beef pho kolache - the bun was so soft and complemented the soft but flavorful brisket meat. wow. truly a brisket pho in a kolache. We got extremely lucky and got a table almost immediately after ordering, as someone left just in time. The interior is full of vintage furniture, which added so much character. As a vintage lover, I felt so at home! I could see how others might prefer a more neat, chic interior, but to me this was absolutely perfect and added so much warmth, homeliness, and character to the shop. Absolutely love this coffee shop and will 100% be back to try more pastries and coffees. Immediately, this has become a new Houston favorite!

He's a chocolate lover so I decided on the Black Forest cake for him which is one of their specialties. I ordered the night before for noon pickup and paid online which was a pretty easy process. Beware parking here at busier times - when I visited on a Saturday at 1:30pm it was mayhem. On entering, I saw an array of desserts and savory items. I decided to also pick up a savory kolache-type pastry (I never got the name of it) and the cake! The employee was quick and helpful - she located the cake, showed me the design and lettering to make sure it was ok before I left. The cake was a huge hit! We loved the light sponge cake with layers of whipped cream which were light and not too sweet. Then layer of cherries was lovely. The fruits on top were fresh and nicely arranged. The appearance was gorgeous as well, with chocolate shavings delicately arranged on the outside. We were not too impressed by the kolache. I was also able to try their pandan cake slice on another visit and loved the flavoring, lightness of the cake and the icing was very tasty. I will definitely be coming back here for more cakes in the not too distant future!
