Contacted Vadim to quote for interior painting on my home. Every room all the millwork and ceilings. Vadim turned up on time and was thorough in his appraisal. I went for the more expensive SW Paint which was well worth it, even with the extra costs E&A were very competitive on price. I got Mario and his team so I can only speak for their work which was outstanding. Given these guys had to paint a 3600 sq ft home they were done in 2 weeks. Yes there were a few issues (its a large home it was expected) that had to be sorted but Mario was always available and got the issues fixed straight away. Would not hesitate to get this company in again they transformed a house into a home. read more

Our house was not prepped before being painted which was supposed to be included. We bought the highest grade of paint. As a result, 2 yrs after the paint started to break down (see pics). Now 3 years later (this summer) I'm fixing awful spots to protect it from weather and moldy wood. In addition, several paint containers had tools left inside them! I recently had the exterior and interior of my house painted by E&A and they did a fantastic job! Erik was very prompt, attentive and communicative during the entire process. Erik and his team are very creative on how to use paint and colors to update a space. They even painted the outlets and switches instead of us having to replace all of them from ivory to white! The team he had working on our house did a great job and they stuck to their two week timeline. When they were painting the outside passing cars would honk their cars and shout 'THANK YOU!' for finally updating the color of the house. I made an agreement with E & A Painting to get my condo painted. I was not contacted by their manager to schedule the job so I called the sales manager to speed the process. We agreed on a date and I would be contacted by the manager the day prior to confirm a set time. I received no contact the day before and the painting crew showed up at my condo to start painting early the next morning with no warning. I was not prepared for the painting and called their sales manager to let him know that just having the crew show up was not acceptable. I have not heard from this company since then. read more

E&A painting started on time.finished work on time. Work quality was OK, nothing special or wow factor or going above and beyond. There are few misses on their part. 1. They painted post poorly, I sent pictures to Andrey, the came back fixed it. Again painted a post poorly, asked them to fix it and they did it. They have caused lot of inconvenience and time to me due to their poor workmanship. 2. They did not ask if I want to change the lighting and painted the ceiling, I removed the fixture and ask them to touch up and workmanship was poor on touch ups 3. Crack developed in fireplace just days after the painting and they came back supposedly fixed that and crack came back again within two days. Now they would not come and fix that. I understand they do not want to fix this because anyway I am not happy with their work, so why bother to fix that. Overall, this company charge top dollars for a Ok'ish workmanship and refuse to fix problem created by themselves itself. I need to find someone else to fix the cracks. read more

EA Painting painted the exterior of our house in July of 2018. In the end, it looks nice, but we felt like it took a lot of supervision and double checking on our part to make sure things were done the way they were supposed to be done. As a result, we can only give EA Painting 2 stars. First of all, EA Painting didn't actually do any of the prep or painting on our house, but rather subcontracted the work out to other companies. The guys from another company who came out to power wash the house did a terrible job, only power washing half of one gutter and leaving the other half completely undone, and completely missed areas of the siding. When we complained to EA, owner Erik came out and looked at it and agreed, and sent "his best crew" (Mark, Yuri, Alex, and Sam) out to re-do it, and they did do a great job. These same guys did the painting. Mark, the main guy in the crew, told us that he does not actually work for EA, but rather has his own painting company and he "gets a lot of work" from EA. The crew sprayed on the first coat, rolled it, then immediately once it was "dry to touch" (just 5 minutes later) sprayed on the second coat. It seemed odd to me that the second coat would be applied so soon after the first, so I called the Sherwin Williams Corporate Help Line and asked about whether a second coat should be applied just 5 minutes after the first coat when the outside temperature was 72 degrees. Sherwin Williams said no, that it needs to dry and cure for 2 to 4 hours before applying the second coat, even when it is in the 70s outside. When I told owner Andrey about this, he brushed it off and said Sherwin Williams doesn't actually do any painting, so they don't know what's appropriate. Huh? They manufacture the stuff, and they certainly know how it should be applied. We later discovered that some of our crank windows had been painted shut (we were eventually able to pop them open again, with some effort), and only sections of the sills of two of our crank windows were painted, but the area beneath the metal crank arm was not painted. We are going to have to touch this up, ourselves. There were areas of raw wood on the house and a shed, and although their website says raw wood is "primed with Peel Bond primer", it wasn't primed at all. Mark said that he didn't prime the raw wood because primer was already included in the Sherwin Williams Super paint, but according to Sherwin Williams, it is not. As a result, we now have 2 sides of the shed that had been raw wood and now have no primer under the paint. The website also says that "any cracked, split gaps are caulked to prevent water intrusion." We had many cracks between the siding boards and also boards with knots that had noticeable cracks that were not caulked before being painted. It was only after we complained to Erik about this that these areas were re-done and were caulked and then repainted. Additionally, the website says, "all materials are packed up and stored neatly away." But there were a lot of paint chips and two exposed razor blades on the ground after the guys finished the job and left. We were lucky our barefooted grandchildren and dogs didn't step on them and get cut. The crew was nice enough and the crew and Erik did address our concerns once we brought them to their attention, but we feel that good painters should know what needs to be done and do it without the homeowner having to double check their work and point out obvious things to them. Also, not priming raw wood is not acceptable, and according to Sherwin Williams it is not appropriate to apply a second coat of paint just 5 minutes after the first was put on. We will be closely watching for problems with the paint over the next 3 years of their warrantee. read more

Since our request was last minute, he gave us some helpful tip on how we could help prep to make the job go faster. He went above and beyond to paint over sloppy edges that we had painted ourselves previously. We needed our job done in one day due to other work on the house scheduled to happen after and Erik somehow made it happen.
