Unexpectedly, I made last minute decision to replace all my gutters, but my newly painted house would reveal more than I intended so I called Yulissa "Lisa" and explained my dilemma. I got several bids to paint my apartment. I heard a lot of whining about how hard it would be because the trim paint was so old (my building was built in 1938, who knows when that trim was last painted). As an update, after some back and forth they did end up refunding us a significant portion of the cost of the deck staining, so I increased the star rating to 3. We had a wonderful experience working with Antonio, Yulissa, and Carlos to stain our new cedar fence. Yulissa was incredibly responsive to our questions and made scheduling an estimate easy. Their quote was very reasonable, and we were able to get on their schedule within about a week. Antonio helped us pick a color by showing us some samples and talking us through some options. They were very flexible throughout the process. They also use top-of-the-line red label Penofin products, which we were glad to see. Antonio and Carlos were diligent about taping/wrapping before they started their work and keeping the area clean. I posted my request on Yelp at 7:30PM, and Yulissa responded to my query in less than a minute and offered to send over her painters the next day. In hindsight, I'd say that had I posted my request in the morning, they probably would have come in the early afternoon that same day! Yulissa also gave me a bunch of timeslots (weekdays AND weekends) to choose from, an exhaustive list of work her painters would do, and a $370 quote--a less than a third of the minimum that other contractors were asking!
