I was in the area and really wanted to get a holiday manicure, so I decided to stop in. They had a woman who could see me right away for a dip, so I sat at one of the tables. She brought over the selection of dip colors for me to choose from, and at most they had a total of 20-30 color options which really limited my holiday color choices. I had hoped for red, but the 4 or 5 available didn't suit my skin color, so I went with green. They did seem to have more gel color options. The technician did a good job, although I don't love the shape of my nails, and I wonder how long they'll last since one already feels like it's lifting from the cuticle area. Since this was a dip, not a regular manicure, fortunately not many tools were necessary. I say fortunately, because there were not sterilized tools, or even the pretense of sterilization, anywhere in sight. While my manicure is fine for now, due to lack of color options, lack of overall cleanliness, and the fact that it cost $50 for my basic dip nails before tip, I don't see me becoming a regular.

I have always gotten my natural nails done so I don't know if today Jay suffered from amnesia . I told him I wanted my nails cut due to them growing very long and he cut my nails with the acrylic on it... which was strange but I didn't say anything because it was at the length I wanted. He proceeded to take off the acrylic and then he cut my pinky nail shorter and I asked what he was doing. He claimed he doesn't work on natural nails which I asked since when because the four time he has done my nails it has been on my natural nails. He kept saying he knows about nails and I wouldn't understand even if he explains it to me and asked if I wanted my nails to last longer. I told him my nails for a month and that was why I back. He already butchered my pinky nail, he claimed no one in the store works on natural nails and I wanted my nails done and was on a time crunch so I allowed him to finish my nails with the tips and kept reminding myself my nails will grow back. I paid for the service for my nails but didn't tip due to his attitude and that he blatantly lied about not doing natural nails. I'm still pissed that my nails were cut off to put on fake nails which were my original length.
