Generally, they're nice to have in your home. Would recommend! I plan to hire them again next year for some home exterior work.

In addition, they follow through on commitments, manage their schedule so they can complete the job as planned, and the quality of service they provide is the best we've had. Alex was a constant presence. He was respectful of team members who came and went, and kept the folks he reported to up to date so that everyone was equally informed about the project's progress. Whether he was reinstalling window coverings, moving furniture to protect it, or talking our cats out from underneath a bed, Alex (and all of the team, for that matter) was consistently competent and kind. This company is top notch! --

More recently I called them out to repair two large, ragged holes in my walls left by the plumbers. The holes were in my kitchen and dining room and both look like nothing ever happened. This is especially amazing in the dining room since it hadn't been painted in at least 20 years and the patch matches perfectly. The painters are polite, professional and they clean up after themselves. And Adam answers emails & texts right away and always kept me informed. And to top it off, the price is right.

My husband and I recently purchased a place in the South Loop, and we wanted to get the place…read morepainted prior to move-in. My husband contacted someone for painting services, and I contacted a few others for quotes. The first person to respond to me was Excellence Painting! Gerardo was so fast with email response time, and he was the ONLY company that could come and see the place that same day I called him. We scheduled for him to come to our place at 5PM (to provide an estimate) and he was on time! He came in, was very friendly, and walked around to see what work we were looking to get painted, and left. Later that evening, he was the only one that sent me an email with a quoted estimate. I asked him for an estimate for labor only, and then with paint. He provided both estimates! After reviewing multiple quotes, I decided to go with Excellence Painting because I felt that Gerardo, from the beginning, was very professional, and responded in a timely fashion! I felt I could count on him and his crew! He was also very competitively priced!!! The next day, Gerardo stopped by the place, and helped me finalize paint colors based on what I was looking for. He told me he would start the next day, but had a project in the morning to complete, so he would come in the afternoon. He came later in the afternoon (around 6-ish), and he started the painting. Then he came the next day with his crew, and finished the majority of the place. He finished everything yesterday! The place looks beautiful, as I will add photos of his work. My husband and I are VERY HAPPY!!!! Biggest thing for me - Gerardo was ALWAYS responsive, we primarily spoke through email, but he would respond within 5-10 minutes! He was always very energetic and happy! Whenever he said he would do something, he did it! He was never late, he was very articulate and detailed! I would absolutely 1000% recommend him!!!! I am very lucky to have met a great person such as Gerardo, and we will absolutely be using his company again for future painting needs!

Eric and his OP Painter's crew recently completed a full-exterior painting job on our 123 year old…read morehome, and we are ecstatic with the result. I am admittedly, a difficult client to please - I do my own research on the best products and practices to make sure I am getting things done right. Often my paying attention to the fine details is a turn off to contractors - who just want to do what they've always done, get paid, and leave. We decided to hire Eric because of his energy & enthusiasm about getting our job done right. He was receptive to researching various products and arriving at the conclusions together with me. He would call his product reps to gain insight on the primer/top-coat systems that would give the best results for various substrates - such as porch floors and aluminum clad windows. I loved that fact that we were a team with a common goal. Eric's pricing is clear and transparent, and I was especially fond of the fact that materials are billed out separately directly from receipts. This ensures that you are always getting the products you pay for, as they have no incentive to purchase inferior products to pad their profit margin. The crew is full of very skilled painters who work hard. They arrive on time, and were always friendly and respectful of our space. Our Victorian home is full of intricate moldings and is 3 stories tall - and all their lines are crisp. There are many established painters who work primarily in the Oak Park area. We took a shot on Eric, and do not regret our decision for a second. What sets him apart from everyone else is that he truly, deeply cares about the job he does for you. Never once in the time they were at our house did I ever question his dedication or his passion. OP Painters has a very bright future. You will be glad that you hired them.

He has a very down to earth and genuine personality, and truly values 100% total customer satisfaction. I called him to inquire about his services, left a voicemail, and received a phone call back from him within the hour. He was at our door at 8am the next morning to do a walkthrough before pricing out the job. Even though we knew the exact job needed, he wanted to ensure he really understood the lay of the land and provided an accurate quote, which he turned around the same day of the inspection. After agreeing to the price (which was super market competitive!), we scheduled our service for the following week. John and his team arrived on time and even texted me ahead of time as a friendly reminder of our appointment. They did a fantastic job - we are SO happy with the results! Truly professional work, and I am so happy we spent the money to do something we could have easily done ourselves - which wouldn't have even turned out half as good as the work John's team did. He also did a walkthrough with us at the end to make sure we were pleased. All around such a great experience. And unlike many tradesman these days who are only in it for the money, John really is passionate about what he does and will give you guidance on anything from what paint to buy to how he plans out his work on the project. Will only recommend Pristine Decors for any of my friends and family wanting paint services - thank you so much, John! He is incredibly detailed in his work and even helped us by giving us feedback on the color of paint we were thinking about in terms of what would last the longest and cover the previous colors the best. If he hears a toilet running in the other room, he'll go and fix it just because it needs fixing. - He also is able to do more than just painting. He helped us cut into the ceilings and walls to check for problems in the drywall and in the lights after some flooding and water damage. - And with all of the above, his prices are unmatched. It will be hard to get a better deal. He's a straight shooter with prices and with variables you should think about. He's very professional and expects you to honor his time and he'll honor yours.
