I don't really each much Chinese food, but I went here last week and the food was fantastic. The decor was great, good service and fantastic food. I had the Ramen and soup dumplings. I could go for some soup dumplings right now. Very good clean Chinese restaurant. read more

Went to this place today and they were very disorganized. They kept seating the 4 people party and this lady seated the two people party who came after us. The girl who was the cashier told the waitress that we got here before the other two people but apparently she couldn't hear her and got mad or whatever. I told her that we came first and she ended up using a really loud voice to talk back to me with an attitude. Not happy about my experience there. I WILL NOT RETURN AGAIN. Very bad customer service. Unacceptable. read more

Good location, friendly staff and great service! I love their scallion pancakes and their soup dumplings. In my personal opinion the soup dumplings and pancakes are even better than those shanghainese restaurants. read more

I went here for a Saturday lunch with a friend. After a look at the menu and asking our waiter, Mike, for some recommendations, we were ready to place the order. We ordered the following dishes: Crab Soup Dumpling Rice Noodle Peanut Sauce Chicken and Broccoli Sweet and Sour Chicken My part was the Chicken and Broccoli and the Crab Soup Dumpling, and I can tell you with confidence that this was one of the best meals I received from a Chinese cuisine restaurant. The Chicken and Broccoli was savory and the chicken was the right amount of tender. The crab soup dumpling was appetizing and a perfect starter. I owe it to Mike for giving us the most solid recommendations and great service. I am definitely adding this to my list of places to eat and I'm recommending it to all my friends. read more

Newly started business so it's expected that some of the staff are new but the food is okay and although its not a place I would recommend I would still come here to eat. Ambience is comfortable read more

We ordered the soup dumplings and two appetizer plates - brisket with tendon and pork & squid curry. The curry was the best thing on the table. The soup dumpling I had was one of the worst I've ever had in my life. I couldn't even finish it. Stay away! read more

The food is salty. The place is a way too crowded. Also the meet for the wonton might get spoiled.

I tried soup dumpling and congee in the restaurant and also ordered soup dumplings and wonton noodles to go but both times they were not hot enough :'( it would definitely taste better if it was cooked for a few extra minutes :') read more

Great foods and service, I like it and It has become my favorite place. Special dish like team bun, beef castle yummy

Lunch at E Noodle with grandkids the other day. A great place for noodle loving children. Restaurant was immaculate. Everything was fresh and delicious. Soup dumplings were divine. Quality of noodle dishes was excellent. Service was not well coordinated but the quality of the food made up for it. Limited menu so check to make sure it's to your liking. read more

Brand new with bright sign, yet anoithe Chinese noodle place. But a new inviting store. E Noodle Cafe is on 86 and 5th so very convenient and you can eat inside if you wish. Soups and noodles are tasty, as well as the dumplings. E Noodle is a notch or two better than average for the neighborhood. Priced slightly higher, it is yet to be determined whether this Cantonese plum will remain as sweet next year. For now, try and enjoy this new place on the block. read more

I love this restaurant. I made a last minute plan to have a large party (18 people) for a dinner and Stewart, the manager, arranged it in less than a day. He sat with me to review the menu, discuss how much food we needed, lessened the amounts of orders on certain items and made sure everything went very smoothly. One of my guests got there very early and Stewart allowed him to sit at the table and work while waiting for everyone. We tried about 15 different dishes and every one was absolutely fantastic. My favorites were the soup dumplings, pork & chive dumplings, spare rib casserole (amazing), grilled prawns with garlic & scallion and the cilantro with preserved egg dumpling noodle soup. Really you can't go wrong with this place. It looks tiny from the outside but is rather deep, so it's a great atmosphere. And the staff couldn't be nicer. The prices are very reasonable for Bay Ridge. I've never written a review on Yelp before, but after this experience, I had to recommend them. read more

I eat at this place from time to time, the noodles have nasty ammonia tasty, only tried couple of times to make sure. I like the dumplings, it taste ok because not everyone like "hum ha" in them. My friend hated it. On average, I found most of the food there a little too salty. For that kind of food, it is over priced. read more

Yum yum! I've only ordered delivery from this place so I can't comment on the atmosphere. The two times I've ordered from them, they've delivered in under 30 minutes so they're pretty prompt. I've had their rice rolls with peanut sauce, lollipop chicken, sweet and sour chicken, yau choy with oyster sauce, spicy beef balls with curry sauce, fried buns with condensed milk and fresh ginger ale. If you love peanut sauce, definitely have the rice rolls, they're delicious. The yau choy was good but was a very small portion. The lollipop chicken is worth a try, they were nicely seasoned. The spicy beef balls were OK, nothing spectacular. The fried buns were very crispy, which I love and the fresh ginger ale was really good but it had a lot of sugar unfortunately. Overall, I've had two pretty good experiences here. I'm excited to try out the rest of their very long and diverse menu. read more

Very disappointed and upsetting. I have been to this restaurant several times. I went to E Noodle with my elderly mother and my 1 year old son. Everything was great until our departure. I usually take care of the gratuity and bill. However, I was packing up my son stuff. The waitress gave me check as I was getting my son into the stroller. My mother said she will leave the gratuity. I wasn't sure how much my mom gave and I didn't want to question her to make her uncomfortable. As I was walking towards the cashier, the waitress stop my mom and scolded my mom for giving a cheap tip (10%) in front of other customers. We were completely embarrassing. I wanted to comfort her for questioning and scolding my mom but my mom wanted to leave immediately. So I dropped an extra $2 dollars. Honestly, as an elderly retired grandmother. She gave what she thought was right. How dare this waitress!! The owner should train their staff on customer service. For sure, never will I ever go to this place again. read more

Probably the only real Chinese (Cantonese/HK style really) restaurant in Bay Ridge. Just for that I have to say I'm truly happy to have eaten from here, I love this type of food, I will admit that it's far from the best though. I had crab xlb (soup dumpling) and claypot rice with a mix of pork and salted fish. The xlb are the best in the area, thin skin and tasty soup. I had not tried claypot rice before but it was very tasty! I ordered delivery and it looks like I get to keep the clay pot too!? I wasn't expecting that! The cons of these dishes are: soup dumpling filling had a porky taste that wasn't very fresh, the toping to rice ratio of the clay pot is off due to the amount of rice and also, the bottom of the rice was a little burnt (I believe this is part of the dish and I enjoyed the crispy chewy parts on the sides but it's not for everyone. I'll be ordering more dishes from here though the quality is definitely above your regular "Chinese" take-out spot! read more

I've never been here but I've gotten delivery every Sunday for the past 3 weeks. I'm extremely happy this place opened. Pan fried dumplings, authentic noodle soups, soup dumplings and congee! Everything comfort dish I need to cure a hangover. read more

Nice portions, left feeling really full. Polite waitstaff. Worth the drive over. Will be coming back. A little higher than Chinatown prices but justified with the cleanliness and quick service. read more

Came last night with my family of 7 and baby A and we had to wait a bit but less than the 20 minutes we were told it would be and I'm glad we stayed to wait. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant and ordered more than we could eat, as usual. We all shared the lollipop chicken wings, veggies with oyster sauce, soup dumplings, rice rolls with peanut/soy sauce, pan fried dumplings, vegetable spring rolls, beef chow fun, wonton noodle soup, congee, baked pork chop rice, a cold soy milk, and hong kong style milk tea. Of all the food, we all liked the beef chow fun and rice rolls the best since the ho fun they use is very fresh and thin, just the way it should be. Everything was good, although I wasn't a fan of the baked pork chop rice since the tomato sauce is very tart so I would skip that next time. Also - don't order the hong kong style milk tea if you don't want to stay up - A and I were despairing because we couldn't fall asleep until well after midnight - it's strong stuff! The decor is modern and pleasant - there are coffee cup cutout designs on the chairs and we had one of the only booth-type benches in the restaurant, I believe. On a side note, there was a super drunk guy who was rolling on the floor as we were waiting and the cops were called but it was all handled very competently and they actually left the restaurant before the police arrived. read more

So me and my friends came here after a long road trip. Waiting half an hour for a table, only for them to give it away because they claimed we were not outside when we were. Waited an extra 20 minutes. Sat down and started ordering. They were out of xiao long bao. (Which is what they are known for). It was fine we order some dumplings and our individual dishes. Then they ran out of rice noodles -we were fine with that. Our friend ordered chicken rice and they came back 15 mins later to say they ran out of chicken too. Our main dishes came first I got monster ramen. It was ok. What was bad my friend order rice noodles with dumplings. He waited 40 mins and had to speak to 3 different waiters and waitresses just to have his order come. Another one of my friends order chicken pot rice and got beef pot rice. My friend complained and no one came to even apologized to him. Food was so so. One star for service and to quote another one of my friends " this place has the worst pot rice in Brooklyn". read more

Does noone else smell ammonia in the food. Probably used because meat was starting to spoil. Yea good luck with this place ...

Terrible and racist service at this place, treated my friend and I like lepras, they sold out of all the chow fun, and the waiter acted as of any question about standard served tea was unheard of. Sat us all the way in the back and gave two tables to another two groups of two that's came 30min after us. This place is terrible. read more

This restaurant has very bad service. I ordered a dish and it took over an hour to arrive. The waiter told me that it was supposed to take that long but who would wait for an hour to eat? I wasn't even hungry anymore after waiting an hour. Also, the is food is mediocre at best. The prices are okay but I did not think that it was worth the wait. read more

I decided to give this place a try after reading many positive reviews and many recommendations by family and friends. Unfortunately, I will not consider this place ever again. I have to admit the food was good and the atmosphere was decent but the one and only thing that I was disappointed about was the customer service. The waiters and waitresses were very unprofessional. They rushed to clean our table before our food was done. Then they keep on rushing and asking if we still want our food. Lastly they asked us to leave cause other customers were waiting... I will not give this place another chance. No matter how good your food is if that's the way you treat a customer you only deserve 1 star. read more

Been back a few times after first visit which impressed me with the quality and authenticity of their HK style comfort food. Tried the hot pot rice w/Chinese sausage and cured meat. A+! Again this restaurant does it right when it comes to quality dish. The scallion pan cake is not as crispy as the usually fare in other restaurants because it's not dipped in oil and fried. Another plus. It has a lot more scallion taste than those fake fried scallion pan cakes served elsewhere. Oh how I wish the owner would open another of this restaurant in the Sheepshead Bay Area where I live, where it's in dire need of good Chinese food! It would have been my daily breakfast lunch and dinner place... read more

As a Cantonese I would say this is the best restaurant of noodle/congee I've ever been in Brooklyn. 混酱肠粉 and congee are highly recommended. The boss is a nice guy. Good service, good food, reasonable price. I and my wife have been there three or four times and definitely will come again! read more

I would definitely recommend this place. The customer service is excellent. Staff is very nice and professional. The food is also good. We enjoyed the sesame chicken and garlic prawns. read more

This place is really bad with service. I was there with my family yesterday tried to have a quality time and celebrated Father's Day. When we got there, the man who worked there told us we need to wait for approximately 20 minutes so we decided to wait. There were more people coming at that time. After we waited for 20 minutes and saw many people leaving, I saw 3 empty tables that can fit 4 people. He gave 1 table to the people who came before us and gave another one to a family of 6 people. (He pushed a small table together and made a table for 6 people). The third table was supposed to be my table because we came earlier than rest of the others. BUT he didn't give to us. He gave to another group of 6 people who came in just 1 minute ago and told us to wait for a little longer. I think he doesn't know how to respect customers in a appropriate way. What is the point for us to wait to be seated if he can decide whoever he wants to put there regardless who comes in first. read more
