On top of that, they've messed up our orders several times, not just mine but my family members' as well, which makes it hard to rely on them. Tonight was especially frustrating. We pulled up to the drive-thru around 8:30pm, and their posted closing time is 9pm. We were told they were only making carne asada fries because they were closing soon. I asked for a simple bean and cheese burrito--something that's arguably easier and quicker to make--but the worker responded, "Nope No No," in a rude tone. I understand places get busy or want to start closing procedures, but if your hours say you're open until 9, customers should still be able to order from the menu until then. It felt more like they just didn't want to make anything else and were trying to wrap up early. The food itself is okay, but for what's supposed to be one of the only Mexican options around, it's just not worth dealing with repeated mistakes and disrespectful service. Bathed in a three milk mixture and topped with fresh berries and whipped cream, moist but not to sweet. The Sonorense combination was equally impressive. Arrachera steak strips, chilaquiles made with poblano chile, a tamal de elote, and two eggs. The arrachera was excellent and the chilaquiles were crispy, which is exactly how they should be and not something every kitchen gets right. The menu is long enough that choosing something different next time will be a genuine challenge. Omelettes, chilaquiles, brioches, and other specialties give you plenty of reasons to return. We are already looking forward to exploring the lunch and dinner menu. It's lots of overly sweet food. Still, I found things that were pretty good. In the end, I can see why it's popular. It' doesn't really bring me to Mexico City or similar. I would not exclude coming back. They no longer have beer. That's important when dining out for me, but doesn't seem to hurt things here.
