My husband and I received an EB's gift card for Christmas. We had never been there so we were eager to try it. We were very impressed. Everything was excellent. My husband had bone in wings and tortellini soup and I had boneless wings and french fries, everything was delicious. My boneless wings were very flavorful and they gave you a good size portion, you could tell the chicken was so fresh and the french fries were the best, they were just potato, sometimes restaurants coat them and I hate that, these were traditional french fries and super hot which I love. My husband said his wings were excellent too and the tortellini soup was great. The tortellini's were al dente they didn't overcook them at all. The blue cheese dip that came with the wings was the best we've ever had chock full of blue cheese chunks. The waitress was super nice, the bag she gave me to take the leftovers home was a type of bag I was looking for to keep in my bag dispenser at home. She gave me a little pile of them and even found out for me where I could buy them, which was excellent information, I purchased a box at Restaurant Depot in Chicopee. As I mentioned this was our first time there, will definitely go back. Also, since EB's is close to Geisslers Grocery Store, it's a good opportunity to get some groceries in this wonderful one of a kind grocery store, hard to find a salad and soup bar in the area but they have it and it's amazing! I probably would not have found this place, if it weren't for a wake to attend in Agawam. If you have an occation to go to Six Flags, then this may be a good place to come for dinner. It is a bit out of the way, but not that far from the highways. At any rate, a great surprise and great find. My friend from college knows the owner since they were 10 years old! At any rate, they have a wide variety of Italian and American dishes. About a dozen craft beer on tap and additional standard run-of-the-mill Buds, if that is more of your speed. I ordered a chicken marsala over ziti for my main dish. It comes with mixed greens. Appetizers - more chicken! Sriracha buffalo wings and Old Bay seasoning wings - both done to perfection and moist inside. Apparently, chickens are what you have there at EB's, as recommended by my local boy. The marsala sauce had just the right balance of marsala - not too skimpy or too overwhelming. The chicken breast were tenter and moist. The sliced mushrooms were perfectly done - at least for me - not too soft, yet cooked enough to bring out the full mushroom flavor. The ziti was a little too soft for my own personal taste, but my fault for not telling the server to be "al dente." Thea atmosphere is casual. There is a lard bar as you walk in. At first, I was not sure if this place was a bar with small sitting area, or a restaurant that has a large bar. It is the latter. But I guess the local guests like to sit at the bar, as I witnessed that most of the guests seem to do here. I guess the other recommended items are grinders. Have been Three times recently after not going in for years and happy with the food. Then we went to the restrooms. They are in the back around a couple of corners and we were very disturbed to see how filthy it is back there. We passed what looked like a slop bucket on the floor, very grimy floor that looked like food had been walked over multiple times, grimy everything and light unpleasant smell. Looks like that whole area, floors and walls, hasn't and cleaned in a very long time. Totally put us off from the restaurant. Very surprised to see how bad it was as the public walks through to get to the restrooms. If that area is so bad, makes you wonder how the kitchen is. Would it pass a health inspection? I lived in the Buffalo NY area for over fifteen years and lived a mile from BarBill's North and of Duff's in the Eastern Hills Mall. Needless to say I've enjoyed a lot of good wings. Wings in Agawam where I grew up in and now returned, tell me another story. Buffalo wing snobs might not listen but EB's is AS GOOD AS Buffalo's best. The cheese curds were to die for and right there with Bar Bills North's version. I even prefer EB's Parmesan garlic wings more which was the second surprise that evening on my first time and far from my last time there. My girlfriend enjoyed the casual atmosphere and the promptness and friendliness of the staff and she's all ready to drive over from Worcester to join me for another session. This restaurant came highly recommended by a fellow hot wing connoisseur - and they didn't disappoint. My son and I were traveling and stopped in mid afternoon for a late lunch. I had Buffalo style wings and sweet potato fries (so good) and he had chicken nuggets. We sat at the bar and chatted with a few employees who had been there since their opening and a few local patrons waiting for a to-go order. Lovely and comfortable atmosphere with really great food. Nice place. Kind of a funky location, but the inside was nicely decorated, clean, and well thought out. Garden salad was huge. We got 20 bone-in wings and they were yummy. When our local Tap was sold out of wings last Wednesday night, we decided to take a 10-15 minute trip to try E B's in Agawam. Weds are $.65 wings w/ the purchase of a drink. We ordered 20 Wings (1/2 Garlic Parm, 1/2 Hot Buffalo) with a side order of Rings, and overall everything was good, but not amazing like I've heard some people rave about.. So to start, the wings are a good size and I liked their garlic parm sauce, but their "Hot" buffalo isn't in the least bit hot (as in spicy), and as far as temperature hot, well they didn't come out as hot as you would want in that department either. If I'm dining in, I expect steam to come out when I bite in, and another thing I'd expect while dining in, is to get wings with a nice crisp crunch from the chicken skin.. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case either. For now E B's gets a solid 3-3.5 stars from me. I think they can do better. Next time I'd like to try the 24K Gold sauce and maybe the TNT Buffalo will have that kick I'm looking for. I'll also request my wings be made well well done, for that crunch. read more

Not for everyone, but if you like the flavors you'll be back. Let me start with I'm NOT a fan of their TNT buffalo wings. But it's not due to poor quality, I simply don't like the flavor. Their "hot" buffalo wings are essentially Frank's Red Hot flavored (solid). The ingredients seemed top-notch. The boneless wings were very meaty. The bone-in were good as well. When I return I'm going to try the 24k sauce. One in our party had it and really enjoyed them. It's counter service, staff is pretty friendly. Wings (or food) is delivered to your table. Service is a little slow, but not obnoxiously so. Lots of TV's, great "all-you-can-eat" specials on Wednesday. If I'm in the West Springfield area, this is where I'll go for wings. read more

For those of you that have never been here before....you walk in the door and are faced with a good sized counter with the menu posted on a wall behind it. You order and pay at the counter then seat yourself. Your food and beverage are brought to your table. We had read the reviews and chose to try both the bone in and boneless wings. The boneless wings are sold by the piece ( as opposed to the Hanger in Amherst that sells the by weight). All the boneless wings were good sized, juicy, tender and perfectly sauced. They were all consistently the same size. The bone in wings were (I believe double fried...a common way in food service to give a wing a nice crispy skin) and again perfectly sauced. Nothing worse than a drippy wing or one with too little sauce. The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions I had. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. read more

Not bad E B's, not bad! This past weekend we stopped in at E B's while in the area after reading another review, and I have to say that I was not disappointed. This restaurant hidden in an awkward part of Agawam was a decent wings restaurant. When we walked in we were surprised at their large menu, but decided to keep it simple with some wings, onion rings, and Angry Orchards. The wings themselves were cooked to perfection and the sauce was great. The onion rings were also well done, and the Angry Orchard was perfectly chilled. I couldn't have asked for more. The venue itself was comfortable. We enjoyed watching both the Bruins and Red Sox games on their TV's. The waitress who brought us our meal was also incredible and not once did we have to ask for anything. Overall, not a bad spot! I will have to stop in again when in the area. read more

We go for the wings; specifically the boneless wings, doused in 24kt sauce. We brought a big group this last week, and ordered a bunch of different flavors. The boneless "wings" - I don't understand why people call them wings, when they are really just chicken white meat tenders - but these are sizable, and generally cooked well. A light breading (not a batter), fried until crunchy, then tossed in your choice of sauces, of which there are 6-7 to choose from. We ordered a bunch of the 24k wings - a golden, mustardy, spicy/sweet taste, a buffalo hot, a hot ranch, and a garlic parmesan. We also did a combo meal with bone in wings. We asked for the bone in wings to be cooked extra-crispy, I'm not sure why you can't get a good crispy wing in this part of CT/MA. Most of the side dishes are fairly pedestrian; frozen fries from a bag (although covered in cheese with plenty of bacon and sour cream on the side as loaded fries do just fine for bar food), or "twister" seasoned fries are available, as is a loaded baked potato. Side salads are simple - greens, one cherry tomato halved, and a slice of cucumber. Make sure to get the dressing on the side as they tend to drown your salad with dressing. There's a list of other italian dishes (chicken based) available, along with a couple of sandwiches. We also ordered the shepherd's pie for the elder member of the group; she liked it fine, but it looked like an overload of mashed potatoes and not enough gravy in the meat mix. It's also gigantic. The set up is different; you order / pay at the counter in the front, and then waitstaff bring out your food once you sit down. The service is very hit or miss; lots of chatting happens and I've watched food just sit in the window waiting for someone to bring it out. This is a super casual place, good for groups / families, particularly if you order the larger sizes of chicken wings to share. read more

The one thing that was spectacular here was the fried Shepherd's Pie Balls with gravy. It was such a delicious appetizer, it was featured at "The Big E." As any overpriced hole-in-the-wall restaurant would do with a big hit, E B's took it off the menu. Way to parlay your one success. However, they do serve Shepherd's Pie, which was good enough. My friend and I were told the cook would let us know whether he could come up with gravy. ?! No one ever told us about the lack of gravy. They simply presumed that using creamed corn was close enough to gravy. It wasn't. What it *was* was $10.95-each. I'll *never* go back here. The servers are rude, the food is nasty, the seating is way too close, and no one uses anything close to an indoor voice. read more

Extremely poor customer service. Every time I go there I either have rude service. Or their workers are trying to do some kind of Investigation work. I called for a pickup order this evening and they told me I would have be able to pick it up until 7 pm. Just a terrible awful restaurant. And if you don't want to get aggravated I would avoid this restaurant by all cost. Do not do business with this restaurant. If I could give zero Stars I would. I've been ordering from this restaurant for years. And I won't be no longer. And I'll be sure to be telling my friends and family about how awful the services at this restaurant.
