Mac's Tire Service

Mac's Tire Service

I had a pesky leak on my left front tire that only got worse the more I prolonged it. At first I…read morewas able to put air in the tire and it would last for around 3-4 days but now it was only good for hours before my tire would go flat. To make matters worse all four of these tires are basically new and less than 30 days old! Anyway, this whole thing was driving me nuts, so I started shopping around for a place. I remembered this local place that allowed you to drive up for on-the-spot repair and they work on your tire(s) while you wait in your car, so I decided to give them a try and I'm really glad I did. When I arrived there were a couple of cars ahead of me, which wasn't a big deal since this place is similar to a drive-thru you allowing you to conveniently wait your turn in your car. They work pretty quickly here and before I knew it I'm pulling forward to get my tire looked at. The mechanic was friendly, respectful, and took the time to listen to what was going on with my tire. He quickly got the tire off, diagnosed the problem, and explained what needed to be done in plain language. The problem was with the valve stem, which had a leak. The mechanic got right to work making the repair and explaining to me what he was doing. The work was done efficiently and correctly, and he made sure everything was explained to my satisfaction. There was no pressure, no upselling, and no runaround; just honest work and solid service. Oh, and the cost of this repair was less than 25 bucks! I couldn't believe I received this much service and such great work at this price point. What makes this place stand out to me is the customer service from all of the staff, but in particular the mechanics themselves that are actually working on your car. Usually, the people working on your car are hidden in a garage somewhere while you wait in a waiting room, so you never actually meet the mechanic working on your car. At Mac's you are up close and personal to the mechanic. That's a huge plus in my book. You can tell this is a local business that actually cares about its reputation and all of the customers coming there. It's the kind of shop where they remember you, talk to you with respect, and make sure you leave satisfied. If you're tired of chain shops and want to support a local business that does quality work and treats customers right, this is the place to go. They earned my trust, and I'll definitely be back for future tire and service needs. Highly recommended!

Excellent! Fast, reasonably price, and good overall customer service. Punctured tire issue.read more

From start to finish, everything was exceptional--service, pricing, timing, and communication. They diagnosed the issue quickly, ordered the necessary parts, and had everything installed faster than expected. The staff was professional, honest, and genuinely cared about getting the job done right. No upselling, no delays--just solid, trustworthy work. It's rare to find an auto shop that combines technical skill with such integrity and customer care. We'll definitely be returning for future service. Highly recommend.

Follow up: Diane from this place decided to go on the defense later the day that I posted it and…read moreclaimed they would never pass these tires - BUT YOU DID! Do you really think I would swap them for 4 other tires just to complain? I don't even OWN any other tires! Your company only has less than 3 stars overall (which is overly generous),so that says enough! WHY would I go to the trouble to make this stuff up? As far as the electrical, I noticed that night I first took it home that the brake lights never shut off and could not BE shut off - that's what I assume kept draining the battery - you DO inspect brake lights, right? Or maybe not, considering your "expertise" inspecting tires. "Integrity Auto" - what a farce! You have a lot of nerve calling me a liar when you are such a shoddy joke! After your nasty response, I've already contacted the Better Business Bureau and will follow up with the State Police. Original post: No stars if they let me. The worst experience I've EVER had ANYWHERE, and I'm 65 years old. Took my car in on July 2nd for a simple inspection, but they somehow completely messed up my electrical system and I needed to get a jump start from strangers three times in the next day. Took it back a day later because they had said I needed brakes and then they kept the car for five days, claiming I needed other things done and then charged me a fortune, including "fixing" what they had screwed up in the first place, which was why the battery kept dying. I didn't have a car for the entire July 4th weekend and more, which made me miss two family get-togethers. Then, less than two months later, THIS is what the tires that they had just passed for inspection looked like - my wife and I could have been killed if I hadn't noticed it by chance. She works from home and I am retired, so we seldom go ANYWHERE, but THIS tire and the other three badly worn ones passed. I had to buy black duct tape just to get it up to Costco for 4 new tires (see photos - these are two months after they passed inspection). Liars and thieves - go to Car Doctor instead. I intend on contacting the State Police and Better Business Bureau as well.

The staff is very friendly and helpful and did what was needed without trying to pressure me into anything else. It took awhile to get it completed but it was busy. So they are going to remove the nail and plug the tire. They are even going to rotate the tires for me at no charge. Just another reason I keep coming back here to buy my tires because of the service and no problems handling the warranty.

I figured it would be a few hours to get new tires placed on my wife's vehicle since the shop looked so busy. There were a couple of people in front of me in line. Then someone helped me and we went out to the vehicle and did a quick walkaround and look at the tires and he checked me into the system. By the time I was finished talking with the associate it was about 8:10am or so. And he quoted me a time of 8:55am of when all 4 new tires would be replaced on the vehicle and mounted/balanced. I was very skeptical at first since most shops seem to take 1-2 hours to swap out tires. At 8:15am I noticed my vehicle was still in the parking lot. I texted my wife saying that the vehicle most likely would not be ready by the estimated time of 8:55am since it was now 8:15am and I didn't think there was a way to complete the job in 40 minutes. Welp, I was proven wrong and amazed. Right after I texted my wife my vehicle was brought into the shop. The shop worked fast to mount/balance all 4 tires and around 8:35, the mechanic came into the store and told me he is just finishing it up and will pull my vehicle out and bring it into the front. And within a minute or two my vehicle was in the front. So basically from 8:15am to 8:35am was when my vehicle was worked on. Divide that by 4 wheels/tires, that is 5 minutes per wheel/tire! amazingly fast! I joked to my wife saying that I take longer than that to take a dump in the toilet. Very impressive with the customer service and I liked the text messages/reminders/status checks. I even drove 1 hour from Loudoun County to come to this location. I wish there was one closer to me...
