this use to be my to go place until last week. Accepting every single walk-in makes all the technicians rush their work and make several mistakes. 1- they uses pure alcohol instead of acetone to remove my sns, after telling them several times it was not acetone one of the male technicians change it 2- he then proceeded to finish my many filing my nails so hard that shortened them to the tips of the finger 3- he cut me not once but twice trying to be as fast as he could because people were waiting. I've been going to this salon for about six months now. I had some exceptional nail service and I've had some bad nail service. Today, I got a fill-in and gel polish. I am just sitting here pissed after 30 plus minutes of work that is not indicative of 20 plus years of experience. This is the newer nail spa. It opened up across the street from the first le nail spa hence the name le Jail spa 2. I cannot say that I have found a quality nail place since I have been hearing that I've been happy with until now. I walked in on a Saturday afternoon about 3 o'clock and I was greeted in a friendly manner and immediately taken care of. I get SNS nails which they had quite a variety of various colors to choose from. Hey Brown play began to soak off the old nails and within not too long of a period of time I was done. I've been to this salon twice for pedicures. The first time, I was happy with the service, but today was a different result. The worst part is that my big toe was cut. I really, really hate it when this happens! (It happened one other time at another salon.) The technician spoke English very well when I was greeted, but acted as though he didn't understand when I asked what he was applying to the cut. After I asked again, inquiring if it was an antiseptic, he muttered that it was to stop the bleeding. It bled for a while! In addition, the polish looked OK, but not as good as previous pedicures using the same polish. I will not be going back, and do not recommend this salon. read more

I had SnS nails done today and they did a great job!! I usually go to a spot in midtown but they did a much better job than my regular spot. I asked that the nails not be too thick and Hip listened and spent time making sure the nails looked great!!! I will definitely be back. read more

I wait an additional 30 mins and decide to run an errand. I come back to the shop and I still waited. Do Not Go Here!!!! Save you're time and money and go elsewhere. The owner Lily is terrible and doesn't care about her customers at all. I went there tonight for SNS and a pedicure. The tech who did my nails said her name was Stephanie but that could be wrong it was extremely hard to understand her with the language barrier. I told Her what I wanted and showed her a picture of how I wanted my nails shaped. I had Tips on my nails until they grew out, and I did not want to add tips again but she said one more time and next time I could try without so instead of saying no, I just Let her do her thing ‍ That's on me. But where it went wrong was her not taking all of my black polish off from my previous color and she chose to dip the SNS over that!!!!! I wasn't paying attention I was trying to relax and it's her job to make sure that's done correctly not mine. When she was done I kept trying to show her my nails weren't shaped correctly and didn't look like the picture I showed her. My thumb was crooked and all the nails are different shapes. Beyond bizarre! She was annoyed that I was Asking her to fix it. I wasn't rude I actually kept apologizing which I should not have. Then I noticed You could see black spots under my polish on both thumbs!!! Since she didn't remove all of the precious color it showed right through this color. I had Already been there for over 2 hours at this point which is longer than I've ever spent and had a babysitter for my daughter. It was my only time to get this done. Since it was close to them closing I could Tell they wanted us out. But I didn't want to leave and stare at my horrible nails that's not right. The tech said "Are you just going to stand there or do something about it?" I was Shocked and said "That was rude!" I was Just trying to figure out what to do, I was confused on whether to stay and fix or leave and come back which both were difficult. She then started laughing in my face and spoke Vietnamese to the owner Lily who also checked my nails and said "oh that's black polish that Stephanie just didn't remove" she said come back tomorrow, I told Her it's hard to do that and she walked away laughing with the tech at me. I said Y'all are very very rude. My husband witnessed the whole thing and other customers too. I walked to the front Lily the owner still wouldn't come over to me so I said What do I do? I needed to leave. She said if you want to be happy I will dip you're nail one more time. So I let her Do that and started crying in front of other customers and Lily never said anything to me. I tried explaining how bad they made me feel etc and she didn't respond to me. She said "there, you're nail is better" which by the way my nail looks ridiculous and worst!!!! I kept Asking her why it's okay for her tech to make fun of me and not be helpful and she said "next time I just won't have you with her" Um...There won't be a next time. I got charged $52 she said it's because "Stephanie her tech" spent 2 hours on this she has to charge me. Thing is, she didn't do it correctly and it was my time too! I left There and ran into another salon up the street to get their opinion and they agreed with me and actually pointed out other issues they saw where the tech messed up. They said this never should have happened. So tomorrow I have to go have this all removed and re done :( this other salon is giving a discount to help me out since I was put through this awful experience. Please read the other reviews!!! People had the same issues with the techs and Lily!!!!! They talk about how rude and horrible they are. Please stay away!!!!!! Le Nail is pretty much your standard strip mall nail salon, with the added bonus that they open up an hour earlier on Sundays than most of their competition. The hours on yelp are correct (though not on their door), so you can get your polish refreshed beginning at 11am on Sundays. For $20, their standard pedicure is A-OK. Though the pumice scrub and cuticle shaping was a little lackluster in my opinion, my technician made up for it with a 30 minute foot massage and impeccable polish application. She waited for each coat to fully dry before applying the next, and she did the massage before applying the top coat, so there was no awkward sitting around waiting for the polish to dry before leaving. I appreciated that. Their polish selection is pretty limited (just OPI in basic shades only), but they had my favorite light pink ("Italian Love Affair"), so I was set. The technicians chatted with each other while working on clients, which I'm never a fan of, and the TV switched to loud cartoons when the son of one of the employees came in, which also made it less than relaxing. I wouldn't mind coming back to Le Nail, but I wouldn't wholeheartedly seek it out, either. Overall, it's just an a-ok neighborhood spot. read more

I live around the corner from this establishment and, over the years of changing management/owners, I have been an on-and-off customer and thought of this place as a 'maybe I'll get lucky today' place. I have only recently began frequenting Lee Nails Spa II again. I was fortunate enough to be paired with Bita and, now, would never go anywhere else. If you need a job well done and/or if you need the special attention you know you deserve, call and make an appointment with Bita. You will not be disappointed. She's lovely and will give you renewed faith in knowing you will be able to have your nails done and done well. Don't give-up yet. Call them and ask for Bita! I'm an older man and can't reach my feet long enough to care for my toenails. About a year ago, my wonderful wife gave me a gift to Lisa's Nails where she had been going for years. I got the shoulder and hand massage at the same time and walked out feeling wonderful! After the first visit, I started getting a pedicure and massage there every 2 months. I didn't know what I've been missing. My feet, neck, and shoulders haven't felt so good in a long time. Lisa and Cindy are extraordinarily nice and skilled at their work. When they are speaking in their native language, I've told them I'm going to surprise them one day and get a translator app on my cell phone. Even though there is no language barrier with Lisa, the staff at Lisa's Nails constantly communicate their dedication to their clients. Their prices are so reasonable and their work so fine, I want to give them generous tips to let them know how much I appreciate what they do. I've been going to this salon for few years and today was my last day there. They are like any regular nail salons except that the owner Lili is very friendly and very welcoming to her customers. Why am I giving them one star? For the very rude treatment I got today. Dad and I went this morning to the new spa. I wanted to get mani pedi and dad wanted to get pedi. At first the salon had only one customer and the girl told us that we'll be served in few min. 5 min later, my father began soaking his feet while waiting for someone to help him and the lady began polishing my toes. Things were fine and normal at first until 3 new clients came in. I think the two employees got overwhelmed and the girl who was doing my nails was on the phone almost the WHOLE time. I kept checking in about who is going to help my father and she kept saying to me that someone is coming to help him. My father soaked his feet for 30 minutes yet no one ever showed up. What is bad is the girl who was doing my nails said hat she can't do manicure for me anymore because her client is there (even though her client said that she could come back later) and no one is going to come help my dad "anymore" because they have other clients. The way she talked to us was very rude and basically kicked us out indirectly. I'll never go back to this place again and I hope the owner reads this. read more

Waste of Money! Had a new set of tips with acrylic overlay, lifting started within 2 days, less than 1 week, entire set is already off. My old polish on my natural nails was not removed, I questioned this & was told it had been filed off...it had not and she applied the tips & acrylic right on top of the old polish. The business is very close to home, so convenience goes without saying. I've felt pampered every time I've come in, and even though I'm not a real "regular" the ladies all seem to recognize me. Maybe its my tips, but they seem to really count here. I had a mani-pedi once with two of them working on me at the same time, one giving me shoulder and arm massages, and the other massaging my legs. Another patron asked me what I had requested, and seemed surprised about the extra special attention I was getting. Eyebrow threading and dyeing- Worth the money! You have to ask for threading or they will just do regular waxing. I've gotten other friends to come with me, and made it a pedi party! They have a lot of regular customers and one thing that is a stand out here is that they get to know their regular customers and will always work to fit you in last minute if they have to. The staff all make an effort to talk to the customers (and this is not the case with many other nail salons). I had a bad experience here once ago, but it was years ago and I needed a quick manicure in this location. The nail polish color selection is very limited! I wanted a regular manicure. There were more choices for gel, but not as many as i have seen at other salons. Once my manicure began, I talked to the manicurist. Then I asked her a question and she nodded but didn't answer. I was asking what the clear polish was she put on in between coats (a strengthener?) Finally I realized she had no idea what I was saying. There is nothing wrong with that, but she could at least learn how to say "I don't speak English" so I won't keep talking. Or the owner should have informed me. During the manicure a little girl was walking around the salon with a toy cat that made a high pitch squeal. Another child was in the salon hanging around (the owners kids). He thought it was adorable but It was not relaxing to hear that annoying cat over and over and over again. I sat and let my nails dry for about 15 minutes. When I got home, 10 minutes later, both of my thumbs were still tacky and they both bunched up. Today, my index finger bubbled up and I ended up taking all the polish off. (extra clear coat made it not stick?) Anyway, I will NEVER go here again. What a complete waste of money. I have to polish my nails 24 hours after a manicure. WASTE OF MONEY. read more
