Intersection, shop is under the green overhang.

Cute little nail shop. Got a gel mani and pedi while staying at a nearby hotel. The nail ladies were friendly and efficient but had great attention to detail.

Ugly uneven. She couldn't even shape my like the others.

Not my regular nail shop going on a trip and broke a nail came here on my lunch break for a quick fix. The lady refused to take off the gel on my nail she just took off the tip and added more gel over i asked her to take it all off but she told me not to tell how to do her job. She starts slamming things around. This is the results of my nail fix. Nail shape isn't the same the nail size isn't even the same it's smaller than my actual nail. HORRIBLE I've given this place one too many chances.

Thank you again, Nora... Color changing polish

Another amazing job, on my natural nails this time. After a week of going about my routine, the manicure is still looking fresh thanks to Norah's artistic skill. Thank you once again!

    Still good after 2 weeks!

I went to Dynasty Nail two weeks ago for my first time. They were kind and took their time. It was a great experience. The massage was very nice and relaxing. I even opted to get a back massage for 10 minutes after my mani pedi. Now, after 2 weeks, and why I wanted to write a review, is that my nails and feet still look great. My nails obviously grew out a bit, but not a chip on the gel manicure. This is my first gel manicure where it hasn't chipped in 2 weeks. I am very happy and will be coming back soon!

Out running errands and came upon this place in an alley way- no really. Literally in an alley way with some local residents on the corner to greet you ( they're harmless) inside is a small space with a back room and lower level. Came in for a gel manicure and was serviced by Norah. She's sweet and pays attention to detail. Had an issue a few days after my gel and she fixed it in no time. Will be back for a new color.

Valentine season is upon us and both my favorite 3d nail stylist were booked to the max! Desperation set in but I remembered this location while walking to Sushiritto during lunch hour. Instead of lunch, I decided to be brave and drop by to see what kind of service they provided. No luck in the 3d nail department but they said they can do nail art. The nice lady told me it's $25 for a fill and $5 for heart designs on 2 nails. I nodded up and down for the good of my nails. I mean, I really needed a fill and it couldn't wait any longer. There's not a lot of color selection, so, I picked the typical OPI bright red and pink. I sat down with lady #1 and then lady #2 came by in 2 minutes and next thing you know it, I had 2 ladies working on each hand simultaneously. I was perplexed and confused because I thought both my hands would look completely different from each other after it was done. I was stretched out like a bird flapping my wings as each lady was cleaning up my cuticles, efiling, applying the fill, and etc. It was unusual but I guess it cuts down on production time. After my nails were filed, shaped, and cleansed, lady #3 enters. She polishes my nail with OPI red. I show them the heart size and where to put it and Lady #3 goes for it. She then shows me the pink heart and asked me what I think, I paused for a lonnnnnggg moment told her it's okay, even though, it wasn't really okay. Right there and then, I think her confidence went down. So, Lady #4 had to take over. But her nail art skills were even poor than Lady #3. At that moment, I felt bad and asked them to please remove the heart designs because it wasn't to my taste. Instead to just paint the 2 last nails in pink, that was flashy enough for me, I thought. Lady #1 came back to paint the top coat, cleaned the polish around my nails and threw my hands under a nail dryer. I sat there for 15 minutes to give it a good dry. And when I took my hands out to examine them, the job the 4 ladies did was pretty and both hands were even! I'm pleased with the final result but thought it was odd that I was passed around like a football to get my nails done. At any rate, mission accomplished. My nails are so pretty, not the usual flashy nails that I'm accustomed to but it'll do for now. Notes: All 4 ladies were very nice but they tend to talk to themselves in Vietnamese. I just ignored it. The decor can use some sprucing up but they were pretty sanitary with their equipment. Don't let the name of this shop scare you, there are no dragon ladies with long curly fingernails, just nice ones with hands ready to work on your hands :)

One of my favorite manicures ever! She did such a lovely job. Great for dip powder. Will be coming back next time I'm in the area :)

gel manicure for 4th of July - 20 days after I got it done, so 3 weeks of growth and wear & tear

Incredible quality and attention to detail. Norah is a true artist, really takes her time (but will also move quickly if you need to get somewhere!) $35 for a gel manicure plus a generous tip felt absolutely fair for what you walk out with. 3 weeks later, there's not a single chip or scratch on my gel and I'm a frequent cleaner / cook at home!

My nails 3 weeks later. I will be going in this week to get them done again

I can bring in a vague idea or inspo pic and she somehow always executes it exactly how I imagined... if not better. Her skill set is super versatile, too, so whether I'm going simple or more detailed, chrome, 3D, fine lines, French tips... she can do it all and it always looks clean and intentional. She's also really efficient in the best way. Nothing ever feels rushed, but she works with a level of ease and confidence that makes the whole process feel seamless. And the durability is kind of unreal. I'm hard on my hands for my job and I've never had lifting, chipping, or breaks-- ever. That alone is rare, especially with this level of design. It's this mix of creativity and technical precision that's so hard to find, and why I keep coming back. So grateful to have found this spot... do yourself a favor, stop scrolling and BOOK IT!

This was the…read moresecond time that I visited Spectrum - the first was to get a gel-x set and pedicure with a friend, which was fine. This time, however, all I wanted was a builder gel fill but I left with two cut fingers and pure disappointment. I could tell that the woman doing my nails was shaving aggressively, but I figured she wanted to be quick & efficient. I didn't feel the cuts when they happened, otherwise I definitely would've said something about the pain. However, later in the process, I heard her say "oh" and I noticed that my left ring finger was ACTIVELY bleeding. Most frustratingly, she did not say sorry OR address the blood, rather, just started cleaning it like nothing happened. Then I looked at my right ring finger and saw cut skin there as well. I got light headed but couldn't muster up the courage to object. I shouldn't have to. The photos do not do it justice because as I mentioned, my left ring finger was BLEEDING down the nail. To make things worse, this nail technician was extremely rude and short. When I asked her if my left pinky nail could be shortened to match the length of my right pinky, she looked at it and didn't say a word. It wasn't until all the paint was finished that I then asked her again "can we please make this length match"? And she finally said she was going to, as if my question was an imposition. The audacity. At the end of the appointment, I still tipped (less than I normally do), regretfully-so. When I asked her if her name was one of the displayed venmo cards she said "no". Unfortunately, I do not have her name but she was on the younger side with glasses. I would not recommend unless you want to feel rushed, ignored, and even injured. I will not be going back to this salon.

It used to feel more upscale like a luxury salon they offered you a quality tea or a glass of wine or even water or whatever (which seems on par for the high price point) and the decor felt more upscale. Now it has kind of janky cheap IKEA fake plant vibes now and the salon really reeks and there is not even so much as a water cooler. I always get a headache coming out of there now, where as I used to love it when it felt so airy and breezy with the doors open and the city view ahead. I asked for the door to stay open recently and got a subtle eye roll because one of the nail technicians was cold. Come on, this is SF not Chicago in the dead of winter where you need to close the doors. No one wants cancer breathing all those chemicals! There is nowhere comfortable to sit if you are getting a manicure and no waiting area. I got a $5 dazzle dry extra charge on my last bill that no one warned me about until after. Hmmm. And having to pay the tip separately digitally is not a great look for a salon with luxury level prices. They need to streamline their process. There is a big sign that says no trying on nail polish but I guess if you're friends with Charlene you can break those rules - as I saw two women completely ignore the rules and start painting their own nails at the polish rack while chatting her up. lol. If you're not a regular there, you are treated politely (at least no one is openly talking about you in another language) but if you're a regular, you get this loud "hey girllll" type of greeting when you walk through the door which then makes everyone else feel a little weird. I could not relax the last time I was there because the music was so loud and I was stuck listening to an entire conversation of Charlene giving 'therapy' like platitudes to some bored whiny SF housewife - I felt like I was getting dumber by the minute listening to this and I should have brought my headphones or ear plugs for some peace and quiet. If the prices weren't so expensive then none of this would be an issue. When I am paying $60 for a manicure, I expect a good massage and the extras that come with that price point. LPNS is overall trying to be friendly and give quality work so that is why I give it 3 stars instead of less. But, truthfully, I miss the way it used to be and am looking for a similar place on this side of SF - a luxury comfortable nail salon. Someone message me if you know of a luxury nail salon where everyone is treated the same when they walk through the door!

The technician clipped my cuticle too far, causing bleeding, and was very rough throughout the service -- especially while removing the builder gel and filing my nails. She also skipped steps that Andrew had previously done, which affected the overall quality. I clearly asked for a gel builder fill and to keep my length, but she began filing my nails down anyway. I had to repeat myself multiple times and eventually had to switch to Gel-X just to regain the length that was removed. There also seemed to be a language barrier. However, instead of asking a coworker for clarification, she continued with what she thought I said rather than confirming my request. I ultimately had to stop and ask another staff member walking by to help translate. Additionally, pricing was not transparent. The service is listed online as $70 for a gel builder fill, but I was charged $85. When I asked about it, I was told I had already been given a discount, which was confusing and not explained. This technician needs more professionalism and should be spoken to regarding both technique and customer care. Overall, this experience felt rushed and careless, which was very disappointing given how great my first visit was.

At times, I felt awkward trying to figure out what was possible on my own while the technician simply watched instead of assisting me. At my last visit, the Gel-X application felt especially rushed. There was excess glue left around my nails which looked messy and unprofessional. While the final design was nice, it ultimately was not what I had originally asked for.
