The Jam flatbread
Sahand S.

Great local brewery located in a strip mall. They have live music which is awesome, and intimate seating close to the action. We tried "the jam" flatbread which has fig jam, candied walnuts, mixed greens, balsamic glaze. It was $22 with the extra $5 for prosciutto. Solid flatbread, but I think it needs something like goat cheese to bring it together. Service was descent, we had to flag down our server to order food, but it was also packed and the two servers were hustling.

Love this place, great beer selection, great food, and great service. Atmosphere is chill for the most part unless there is a band that day. I prefer no music so we usually try to come before the band goes on. Love that we have a local beer spot that has good food and vibes.

I've visited here a few times now, and it's a solid five star experience every time. The food, the atmosphere, and the service are all spot on. I've had the flat bread pizza twice...it is the BOMB. So good and nice crispy crust. And not too much, because you want to leave room for the beers. So many fantastic choices. Plus, they have a fridge of take home delicacies for that home fridge freshly. They even stock my fave, Creature Comfort Tropicalia. The digs are really nice, clean lines and open patio seating too. A chalk board makes choosing...easier? So fortunate to have this amazing space right around the corner from my house in Tatum Highlands. Dangerously close. And a huge shout out to ownership for supporting local mountain biking advocacy, as D-Beer co just sponsored the upcoming C4 race. Good on ya'!!! I will be back for sure.

Nachos, huuuuge!

Popped in to this joint as I thought it was a brewery, but turns out it is a tap room. Several local brews which I focused on, as well as beers from across the country...including my home San Diego! Started out with the caprese...nice tomato with soft mozz and torn basil. Very tasty! The couple next to me had the nachos, and I just couldn't pass them up...beware though, the portion is large! Cheesy crispy goodness, my only criticism is the need for more meat. Ambiance is industrial modern chic, service was friendly at the bar, and prices are in line with expectation...

Located in the Tatum Ranch area. This location has indoor and outdoor seating. I look forward sitting outside in October. The inside has a nice ambiance and the staff is knowledgeable and friendly. I always ask for their recommendations and I tried the Luigi flatbread and it was delicious. I asked for a west coast style IPA and they let me try samples so I could pick the best one for me. Needless to say, I will be back and looking forward to my next visit. Bring your friends and family and enjoy a great time!

Dynamite Brewery is such a hidden gem! It's cute, quaint, and always has a welcoming vibe. The food is consistently solid food and the beer never disappoints. They also have a great happy hour with delicious drink options. It's one of my favorite spots for live music and, of course, trivia nights are always a blast. Service is always on point and so welcoming. Whether you're with friends or flying solo, Dynamite never misses.

We shared the Bang Bang Shrimp, a favorite of ours. The flavor was great as always, although this batch seemed to have a little more batter than usual. Not a big issue, just something we noticed. We ordered the lobster sliders to split and they were great. The order comes with three sliders, and each one was generously filled with chunks of lobster. I also loved the addition of diced tomato and avocado, which added texture. The sliders were a good size. We added a side of truffle fries, which unfortunately fell flat. They looked like regular fries and, while they did have some truffle flavor, they were missing the Parmesan cheese and seasoning that typically make truffle fries stand out. They were okay, but a bit disappointing. We had a nice lunch. The only downside was the price. For one appetizer, one lunch entrée, fries, and one cocktail the total came to over $75, which felt a little steep for lunch. That aside we loved the sliders and would order them again and we always order the Bang Bang Shrimp when we're there.

Thick cold dry toast with precooked overcooked bacon as a first layer with SLICED ICE COLD avocado ( not seasoned ) with two eggs on top. Our delightful server asked how I wanted the eggs cooked? "Basted " I responded. They arrived half cooked POACHED ( sloppy whites). Certainly not the expected description of avocado toast. Where is the mashed and seasoned avocado we have come to expect? Sorry Austin but this is just not a great brunch item, at least for my taste. My admiration for The Creek still stands strong just not going for brunch again.

This upscale bar is located at the Scottsdale 101 shopping center and is also a sports bar and grill too. Duelies features two piano players that face each other and can play thousands of songs at the drop of a hat. Patrons can requests songs throughout the night. What makes this place energetic is the fun interaction between the piano players and customers. People are encouraged during songs to come up and sing and dance with the musicians. I came here with a large group of about a hundred people. We had a fun time singing the songs and interacting with each other. There were a couple of people that got on the piano to dance. The piano players went through a number of songs including popular songs like "Don't Stop Believin'," "Footloose," "Sweet Caroline'" and 'Brown-Eyed Girl". Food is typical food that you would find at an upscale bar and the service was just ok. But I had a fun time here and would check them out again.

But my low rated review has to do with the food. Their chicken tenders tasted burnt on the outside but tender on the inside? Chips and salsa are super bland, no salt and salsa has no flavor, just blended tomatoes. I added on cheese on the side because that was an option but that was bland too and kinda goopy but it didn't seem like real cheese at all. Their hot wings are decent and good size though. If you come here, I would recommend to just drink or eat before you come. Also you can tip or request songs from pianists thru their Venmo's on the screens. Servers and hostess are friendly.
