I swear every single month there's some additional charge for something. Then they quote one price and charge another. The final straw was the excessive credit card fees they charge acknowledging it's the "cost of doing business". But they inflate the charges they are actually paying. Do not recommend. Also while the pool service person is fine he definitely doesn't spend enough time on the pool. Happy to be moving on to another company.

We chose him because of his responsiveness & great communication. We are going into our 2nd month with the pool and we are thankful we went with Saddleback. The prior pool guy actually charged more and was using the wrong chemicals to maintain the pool. The prior pool guy actually broke the pool heater because of this and it was only 5 years old. Thank God we did not keep him. We have run into several other hiccups along the way (noticed in the first weeks of moving in) and Craig's team usually comes the same day to assess the issues.

Over the years, I've had other handymen pass on the project. I had a handyman who was able to fill the rotted areas with wood filler, sand it, and restain it. I've even had a gate company tell me that they could not save the gate; it would need to be completely replaced. Bill was able to cut out the rotted pieces of wood, replace them, and restain the whole gate (he also repainted the decorative hardware on the door as well). Moreover, he discussed the project with a buddy of his and they determined that the gate was sitting over a muddy part of landscaping which is probably what facilitated the deterioration of the wood. We found some leftover pavers in our storage shed and Bill extended the pavers so the gate would sit over pavers instead of mud. Before he embarked on the wood gate repair, Bill also installed a valance/shade over a window. He made the necessary calculations to ensure that the valance/shade would be centered on the wall and window. He also made sure that the valence was leveled. Bill is honest, meticulous and detail-oriented. If you want someone to treat your project and your home, like it's his own, I would give Bill a call.

I ended up selecting a Duralum cover that his company also offers, and I'm glad I did. It's just the look I was going for. I was also impressed with Adam's business model, which is built on quality and efficiency at a very reasonable price without cutting corners or sacrificing customer service. Now for the best part: A guy named Brody, his lead installer. In addition to being a super nice guy, his work is meticulous. The back of my home isn't linear, so there are bump-outs and protrusions, making the installation more difficult and time consuming. This wasn't the slightest challenge for Brody and his team. The finished product is snuggled tightly against my stucco and professionally sealed on the roof to prevent any water dripping through when it rains. I watched him work, measuring and cutting the aluminum to match my home so the fit and finish is far greater than I imagined. As you can tell from the photos, I still have work to do (concrete coating, fence repairs, etc.) to match the beauty of my new cover.

Ghosting a new customer after committing to a job is disappointing and wasted my time. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company because reliability and communication are important qualities in any service business.

Dynamic Pool & Spa did a pool inspection on a property that I was in escrow for purchase. It's a simple job and I wanted someone with experience to look over the system to give me a general bill of health. Josh from Dynamic Pool & Spa was the person who did the inspection. He had to cancel our first appointment with a very legitimate excuse. That was totally understandable. He was then over an hour late for our second appointment. That wasn't so great since I was there with both the listing agent and my agent waiting. Josh was extremely knowledgeable of pool systems and gave everything a good look over. He took pictures and promised to provide a full write up and list of recommendations. It's been over a month and I still haven't received a thing. He promised it was send twice by text and then he said he sent it by mail... Who does that? Yea, its in the mail... right. He was very knowledgeable and looked over my system. At least I got that. I just got the feeling this job was too small for him to have follow through :-( He might do it when he sees this review, I just expected a little more when I paid $160 for a 30 min visit... read more

My wife and I hired Josh to put in a new spa. He is a pathological liar. We should have never paid him because he did a shoddy job installing the heater which showed up on a home inspection less than a month later. Also, after he was done with his work he left a bunch of trash behind. The home was an investment property and per our accountant if we pay via check we need tax documentation of who we have paid. Josh lied and said over 10x that he had sent the information over a six month period. Then finally he started saying we were the scammers when he knew when he did the job it was for a corporate owned property. Clearly someone is trying to avoid having his income documented to the IRS..... But aside from his tax evasion tactics, he was unprofessional verbally abusive to my wife. He is a flat out liar and who wants to hire a contractor you can't trust?????? read more

I just had a rock remodel job done on my pool and the pool had been empty for 2 months. Due to the construction and the age (21 years) of the pebble tech there were some spots that were crumbling away in very small patches but it wasn't a structural issue. On top of that there was a decent amount of calcification on it that made it a lot lighter in color. I highly recommend Josh from Dynamic Pool & Spa for an acid wash on your pool. He was very knowledgeable about what he was doing and very informative on the effects that the acid wash job would do on my pebble tech finish. The acid wash cost a little more than I was expecting but it was worth the extra cost. Josh did a fantastic job and made the pebble tech look like new without causing anymore damage to it. On day one he dumped about twice as much salt into the newly plastered pool as would have been needed given its size, along with the conditioner. This is 4 weeks too early according to the recommended procedure! The new plaster was beyond repair in no time. The salt chlorination cell failed as the salt level was way beyond its operational threshold. In the following days he did not show much urgency to bring down the elevated salt level, he even left the pool controls in service mode once, and another time had a valve switched manually causing the spa to get pumped dry the next morning. The pool had to be re-plastered again. Kevin did not accept responsibility for ~ $11.000 damage he caused, and walked away.
